  1. Yes, the on,y ones I downvote are ones where people are jut plain rude. Which, happily, doesn't happen often.
  2. Maw heard Wark behind him, in that barely-intelligible accent, and turned. "Wark! Come here! I have your pay from yesterday; those fields you cleared earned you a full thirty boxings." Maw shouted back. Wark was drunk quite a bit and sometimes lazy, but Maw couldn't deny that he did help out quite a bit around the farm. Five years ago Maw's wife had just had their first baby, a daughter. Their house, which doubled as a bookbinder's workshop and library, was filled with the loud cries of the infant. A sharp rap sounded on the front door and Maw went to answer it. When he was a short distance away, it was slammed open and a figure in a dark hood stood there. Maw froze.
  3. Thanks! I hope I can get one this game. Fingers crossed. Maw smiled after Mabi, hoping she would take up his offer soon. A vivid and awful memory flashed in the dark recesses of his mind and his face darkened instantly. Thats from another life. After all, I haven't always been a farmer. Seeing Asp walk out of Forage's store with a het, yet having exited too quickly to have bought it, Maw was annoyed that he would steal. If robbers would work hard, they wouldn't have to steal. He followed Asp, intending to confront him, when Cyrus dropped out of the sky and took the hat back. Well, I'm glad that's cleared up then. To Cyrus's hovel, it is, then.
  4. That's a cool shop "But, Joe, can you provide Lerasium? As I understand it, Forage is a conessuir of the rare and you are a merchant of common metals. Am I wrong?" An old, old memory flashed into Maw's head. He pushed it away instantly. This is not that Joe. This is a different Joe. A good Jow, hopefully.
  5. So is Forage's shop in Shadesmar? "Alas, that is a reasonable reason. I will accept that excuse. As long as you work for your food, unlike that old man, Clan. Lazy man. Same with that Wark. Drunk all the time? No reasonable work gets done then.
  6. "Is there a price one could pay to walk between these worlds? I have heard of things called Shardblades. I think they'd be highly useful. "
  7. Well, you see to be mixing shard worlds. This is Scadrial and Ruin contaminates, not Odium. "If you have Ryshadiums," Maw, the farmer, said, "you have a much more valuable currency than even Lerasium. If you have Ryshadiums, world hopping must be a skill you know. That would be worth purchasing."As Maw saw Mabi walking behind Wark, he called out, "Oi! Mabi! If you need somewhere to stay, you can stay in my guest house, if that makes you more comfortable. It is small though, and My house is also open to you, though you might not be as comfortable with the one bedroom."
  8. Hey, Alvron, I hope you don't mind that I added the Elimination count thing into my own signature. I think it's awesome. If you do mind Thoug, I can take it out.
  9. That was a main purpose of my choosing that prejudice. I think it'd be fun to have a relationship like Dyring and Hero have had in these past games. I hope you don't take it personally, gramps. Some of us have to work for our food.
  10. Yes! More secret messages! I'm in again. Maw is a farmer in his early thirties who grows plenty of crops. He is pretty well-to-do being one of the very few farmers in Blackwater. He's quite arrogant and dislikes the poor and beggars. He is a bit resentful towards the older members of the town as they don't have to do any work and still get fed. (This is all his opinion. If he seems very stuck up and/or rude to a character, that is just RP and not actual game stuff.)
  11. That is a detailed dream.
  12. When does fiVe show up? Sorry about the name, I was just gong from memory.
  13. Yes it is,I can see what you mean about the writing meshing better. I'm really liking Eleanor's skills like Quiver mentioned in his reviews of these sessions and I like Miranda and Seiko's relationship. Sylvie's drifting and combat is fun too. And with Miranda's brief mention of FiVe has me intrigued with what happened there.
  14. So, I've gotten to Session 8, and I'm loving it! Sorry I don't have any useful critiques, I'm just devouring this stuff. Thanks Feather.
