That was the point. The only important thing is that Alice/Remington thing going on. So who should start the meeting? I can get a setup post done for Thoughttown's group. There's only four or five going to the meeting I think. Edgedancer, how do we want to get Voidgaze back to Thoughttown? Wait till the meeting, when Altermind can tell her to go back?

Oh okay. Haha, the most damaging, yeah...

If Chimera was evil, just about any. Why, yes, yes it is. Ooh, that would be interesting. He could definitely learn Altermind's weakness then.
-
That sounds good to me.

So Peter just responded to my tweet asking what the difference between High Epic and Prime Invincibility is. I used the quote Voidus provided and he answered, "Hmm. Good question." I stumped Peter!
-
[/img] The man in front replied first, "Greetings Chimera, I am Refill, these are my companions, we are a group of Epics who have formed a new faction in the city, we seek to return power to all the so-called 'minor' Epics in Portland" Chi already began prepping his diplomatic refusal when a bird flying above, not one of his, excreted onto Refill's jacket. The Epic looked unsettled and disturbed. He continued his speech, "Uh.. yes, to um... return power to those Epics, now that the er... the tyrants of Corpsemaker and Altermind have expanded their rules, we think, um.. we believe that no Epic should rule over another, we are all blessed by Calamity." Chimera had to contain his grin. Refill was so thrown off by the bird droppings that he couldn't deliver his speech effectively. Refill found a napkin in his pocket, and with a small sense of triumph at the find, wiped the dung from his coat. "So Chimera, will you join the Minor Epic Empire?" Chimera decided to think about it. He had to at least pretend to so he might as well actually do so. Take power from the rulers of Portland and give it to all Epics? The idea had merit, but Chi had never been interested in power. He had always wondered why, as almost every Epic he met was obsessed with power. Except for him. He had his children and that was all he needed. "Refill, it is a pleasure to meet you. This Minor Epic Empire you have formed sounds very intriguing and promising. However, I stay out of conflicts such as these and don't take part. I have no interest in dominion. I will gladly supply you with some of my Chimerans, if you so desire. I will not actively help you fight though. I apologize for your time you lost here and offer you a small Chimeran, free of charge, in repayment." Chi knew how to be diplomatic. He had to be. He served everyone, whether they fought each other or not. Diplomacy had been necessary. Chimera told one of his guards to retrieve a poison frog with the ears, shrunken of course, of a dog. It had fantastic hearing and could act as a spy as well as assassin. When the guard returned, Chi told Refill, "This is Juinita. She is a poison frog with the ability to hear from far away because of her special ears. She will respond to any verbal commands you give her. She can report what she heard in your mind if you ask her to." Chimera offered the frog to the Epic.

True. Which may be how High Epics differ from Prime Invincibilities. High Epics there is a way to kill without their weakness, but still having to negate their powers.

What would be useful is if, when, and I mean when, those guys in the Glyph Translation thread crack how to read glyphs, they figure out what these glyphs mean. That would be very interesting.
-
I wonder if he switched the two unintentionally or something. It happened with my question in the Goodreads Q&A as well.

Loveable Characters you actually don't care about....

Stick and Vin. I don't understand the stick thing at all. Vin, I just don't connect with a lot. She's cool and all, but I don't care much for her. -

Okay. So, The Material Realm is like the perfect one and the other mind-worlds are imperfect copies of it made by lesser beings? How do the other realms become populated if mortals can't travel there? What did you update, if i may ask? Also, I want to join, I just don't know about time yet. I'll definitely be keeping tabs on it for sure. THIS. Kobold, are you joining?- 314 replies

Brandon himself tweeted back and said it is where you have to negate the Epics power somehow to kill them. I tweeted back asking how that differed from a prime invincibility though. It sounds the same to me. Hahaha I get it now. XD I didn't think of the double meaning there. Oh and that Hawaii idea is awesome!

I thought that too, but then Voidus posted this quote from Steelheart: I just tweeted Brandon and Peter to see if they would answer and Peter gave the response of: "You may find helpful answers in FIREFIGHT."
-
I don't get it... Well, I tweeted Peter and Brandon, and Peter replied with, "You may find some helpful answers in FIREFIGHT." So it looks like we'll have to wait for that as well.

What defines a High Epic? How does Tia's tier system of Epics work?
-
I wonder if someone can get Brandon to define what classifies an Epic as a High Epic? Yes, but that was never explained. I think High Epics would still be one of her terms though. It would just be one who had reached a certain tier. I think High Epic is universal.

I honk we should coordinate chalklings because then Forgotten can't hide behind overlap. I used that myself in LG7. Claiming that I went to the informant and learned the same thing someone else said was very helpful in hiding. This way, way if we all agree to the plan, there can be none of that. Kas, I highly doubt we have more than one sentry, if any at all. It seems that the LoW are a big part of figuring out game strategy. I like Gamma's plan. Whoever didn't make a LoW last night, make one tonight. That way we can gauge how many more we need on a given night without revealing who will be an easy target. That would mean that we don't follow my list unless everyone followed it, which we already know is not the case. To make sure we are protected tonight, everyone who didn't make a Line of Warding last night, make one this cycle. I'm going to throw a vote on Aaron F (Aonar). He's usually more active than this, I want to try to draw him out to say something. I bet you have a diagram, Aonar, so what suspicions do you have?

I just realized that I think Flashpoint has the most on-screen kills in that toy soldier battle. None of my other Epics have really killed anyone yet. Kobold and I were thinking of naming the outposts by the Greek alphabet and the command posts by the military call signs. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas? If we go with the military option, it'll be a Command Post Tango.
-
Just because they aren't mentioned doesn't mean they aren't there. Altermind does try to act the part of benevolent leader, but no ones buys it. He wouldn't brag about his kills though. And, just so we're clear, the bird who dropped its waste onto Refill was a regular bird, not one of Chi's. he has more control over them than to let them poo on potential customers. If he was the trolling type though, storms that'd be fun.

I found something Backtrack can be grateful for! He can be glad his name is Steven and not what Glamour's is. You'll find that out when I post the next Edgerunner post. It's too bad for Glamour that he chose to work for someone who has his Epics called by their real names. Also, Kobold and I decided that Edgerunner and Glamour are going to be heading to the command post that Quicksilver attacked instead of he outpost.

Smart, was that a Forgotten kill or a wild chalking kills? I might just be being dense, but I'd like clarification please. We were very lucky with an inactive Forgotten who we lynched first cycle. This is my proposed line up for this cycle's lines: Lines of Making: (The Only Joe) Joel, a Long time soldier at Nebrask (Araris Valerian) Tavi, a troublesome, but bright young man. (Alvron) Ronald, a Short man with White hair and piercing blue eyes. (AonarFaileas) Aaron, a Graduate of Académie de Montréal. (Tulir) Rlint, a Dirty Conner a Policeman. (Mailliw73) Will, a Blonde Male. (Lightsworn Panda) Jain, a new Soldier. Lines of Warding: (Wyrmhero) Wyatt, a Senior Soldier (Kasimir) Samuel Kessen, a man who hates the JoSeun way of life. (Gamma Fiend) Dig, a Digger. (pir2h) Chase Tearing, a Rithamantic Murderer. (Twelvethrootoftwo) Tory Farth, a man who exists (Ashiok) Roddy, A Baseball Coach EDIT: Realized that when I split the list this time, I messed up on Jain's placement. Again, people making chalklings should check their parallel number in the other list.

That's what I thought. Murphy, if I was there, would just be annoying to have, since everything would just have problems. But it's not big deal to me if Electro is left behind. Just give him more Starscream-resentment fuel.
