Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Mailliw73 replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yes! We got one! We were actually really close that first day or two to lynching Jasnah. Um, shouldn't we switch those rooms? We were all in the armory last night. -
Yes it does, how did you know!

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
Mailliw73 replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Vondra would like that. -
I have an Edgerunner post ready, I'm just working on a Frequency one too and then I'll post.

Thanks, Kobold! I also liked that post in the Dalles a lot! Can I get a physical description of Arsenal? Would you mind making one for Altermind or any of my Epics really?

Okay, sounds good. Would she be speaking to Arsenal then or what? Yes, if you could flip it, that'd be great! I figured it was something like that. Yeah, Thoughttown would be harder for them to spy on, but it'll just be a surprise for them when they find like seven Epics still there. But of a hunt as to what part that is?

Thanks, but of Kobold doesn't mind, I'd like one that's the same format as the others he's made. Well, the MEE has some bad info if they think five Epics is all Thoughttown has. they're in for a rude awakening. Kobold, what would Edgerunner and Glamour do with the attack? Would they continue to HQ to report to Vondra first about Command Post Tango or proceed to the front lines to fight first?

You're shocked over getting Funtimes' name? Of course she has one. Not a lot of parents will write "Doctor Funtimes" on their daughter's birth certificate.

Justic vs Mercy/Life vs Justice
Mailliw73 replied to RawToast225's topic in General Brandon Discussion
You forgot one option: Life without Justice and Mercy: Obviously not a good choice, as there isn't really much. No punishment and no taking it easy. Chaos would run rampant. (I just wanted to point out the missing option. ) -
Kobold, would you mind making the image of Black Jaguar profile size? Here's the link if you need it. http://s1292.photobucket.com/user/Mailliw73/media/BJ_zps93eb3cd2.png.

Koschei is dead. he died a yearish ago (I think) in RP time. Whenever he is shown in the Dalles, those are flashbacks.

That's what I was asking. The file Kobold made for him said that he has killed two High Epics in the turf wars. Koschei is one. I suspect Lightwards to be the other.

Um, is Remington going to kill Lightwards for sure then? I'd like a file too, if you don't mind. Any of my Epics work. Surprise me. Whoever you can find a good quote from.

Alice didn't respond. Instead, Remington did again, "I tracked you down," he said. "Heard about you. Followed you here because of Lightwards." Remington watched Alice, not Max, as he spoke. Lightwards was the newcomer. Some kind of necromancer in a museum or something. "Alice here? Used to be one of his. Warriors of Light, he calls them. That's after he's killed them. Raised 'em up without any idea of what he did. He kills 'em just so they can serve him. Breaks them down and builds them up the way he thinks they ought to be. Don't know how Alice got away from him, but here she is." Remington continued. Max just listened as Remington went on, but inside he was seething. Lightwards kills only for servants? Why am I not surprised? All Epics were the same. "I killed Koschei the Deathless. And I'm going to kill Lightwards, too." Remington concluded. Max's eyes widened in admiration and surprise. "Koschei? The healer from the Dalles? You? I heard about him from some of the refugees who escaped, but I never thought I would have the honor of meeting the man who killed him." Max couldn't believe that he was in the presence of someone who had killed a tyrant. "This Lightwards sounds just like all the tyrants who I hate. It would be my pleasure to have you join us." Max had heard of this Koschei. He was said to be a transference Epic. He could gift healing and take it away. Only rumors of cruelty and fear had been told of the Dalles when he took over. Max had later heard of the man who had killed him, but never had heard his name. This man was exactly what the Black Fist needed. Someone with Epic-killing experience as well as the desire to fight. Max had one part and the Reckoners had the other. Remington had it all. "Rachel! Remington and Alice are coming with us," he called over. Alice could be useful as well. She could be a symbol of Lightwards's horrific rule and could be the key to defeating him.

[quote name="Kobold King" post="195892" timestamp="1415403490" I don't think there's much demand for Cipher's abilities in The Dalles, save for when an interpreter is required with new visitors. Cipher is probably kept in as much comfort as the city can afford to keep her happy. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if there's some sort of Epic club located in the city, providing entertainment for bored Epics prohibited from using their powers. Okay, well, if we ever need her, she's there, ready to be used. That sounds like fun. I like that idea a lot. :) Yay! More Sanderson books for you! I'm with you Voidus. Not completely, but it isn't as good as some as the others to me. Especially the first time I read it, that time it was my least favorite Cosmere book. I read it again six months ago though, and I realized that it's better than I remembered. It's below Stormlight and Mistborn for me,but above Elantris and the YA books. You did, but that's okay. Argo, a bear with poisonous fangs and Kyrie, a wolf with hawk wings. Plus there's a few guards nearby who have the strength of gorillas or the powerful legs of a cougar.

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Mailliw73 replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Theory, is that supposed to be a vote for me? White text doesn't accomplish much, especially when I get email notifications. Joe, while its possible that Jain is a Baron, I don't think your seeker theory is necessarily correct. In my opinion, it seems like the Barons just chose someone in the hallway who they doubted would be protected. And they chose correctly. It feels more like a random kill than it does deliberate killing of the Serial Killer. The Serial Killer is too much of a help for them, with his kill added to theirs. -

Joe, this is going to put you even further ahead in rep. I'm in.MAili is a Returned from Nalthis. She's back to try and keep the world in order. Maw is a Tineye and her friend and companion. Aili will be my actual character, but Maw will be in the RP and may have some POV posts.

Long Game 9: The Empty Throne Part 1: The Barrow Barons
Mailliw73 replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Stanley. You have been very quiet and unhelpful this game. You normally pitch in more than this. There's 28 hours left. What do you think about all this? -
It is afternoon. I was thinking we could have this be like a flashback to that morning, well, no. Edgerunner and soldiers and others would've heard about it.

Is probably start with a medium level defense, Some type of modified Ballantain to get set up and then I'd start throwing our Lines of Vigor, and sometimes creating simple fighting chalkings. I'd then set up defensive chalkings and once done, attack wholeheartedly.
