  1. So does that mean you guys want both? Electro and Chi? (Someone please give me an idea for what Chi should do)
  2. Should Electro continue his stroll through the city too, adding to the horror of Portland? Or should Chimera come up with something to do to take away some of the darkness?
  3. Hmm, that one's probably somewhat of an exaggeration, but Altermind would definitely find something about Einstein to criticize. Cool! I like those two a lot too.
  4. I will second Ostrich's proposal. Pretend that Eol's messages like this are spam. Just don't reply. I'm fairly sure that fishing for reactions is exactly what he is doing.
  5. Hmm. Mare would be interesting, since I haven't done much at all with her. I'm also just not sure what I'm doing with her. Flashpoint will have a viewpoint for sure then. Mare is definitely a gentler soul. She wouldn't like Lightwards's cruelty for sure, but callousness wouldn't be something she's opposed to, at least, not while using her powers. When she does that, she is callous and driven. Normally, though, she is quiet, but honest, kind(for an Epic), and focused. I like Flashpoint a lot too. I began liking him once I decided that he would begin to admire the regular soldiers after the fight with the toy soldiers and now he has a lack of romance in his life and I'm liking him even more. I can't decide in the Dalles either. Frequency is fun to write, but so is Edgerunner. I probably enjoy Edgerunner more though. Making fun of Arsenal is one of the best parts of her POVs.
  6. Dom. Eolhondras. I'd like to know why you've contacted at least four people claiming to know their role. Yes, I was one. I'm very interested in why you're fishing for roles like this as it seems like something only an Eliminator would do.
  7. Altermind agrees. What is happening with them anyways? We haven't seen them for a while. Guys. Only three more days till Firefight. And, out of curiosity, which of my characters do you guys like the most? And, separately, which of the Thoughttown Epics should have a POV in the next meeting segment?
  8. Embarrassing as it is, aside from the white text in the first message that says, "Our only weakness is the weakness of all. Our only fear is the fear of all," I can't find anything in the messages. The last one feels like a code or some type of message, but I can't figure it our quite yet. I'll keep working, but anyone else who wants to take a shot, go ahead. This pseudo-Seeker sounds very curious. Why would someone be randomly guessing roles in PMs? I can't see any reason for it. Jasnah, Since you claimed at the beginning that you weren't going to be inactive this game, where are you? But, considering that you haven't logged in since the 28th of december, I'm not voting for you yet. Dom, you won the Hunger Games. What say ye?
  9. Also, Frequency and Edgerunner post up now.
  10. Frequency walked out of his apartment building with Blitz to where Terra was waiting for them. "Frequency, shall we allow escapees to leave the city?" She asked. "Only Epics too weak-willed to fight. They will make it an easier conquest and they won't be a good addition to the town anyways. Citizens of the Dalles need to learn to stay in town," Frequency responded. "A van belonging to the military is heading towards the border, away from the fighting. Canis spotted it as he was running. It's heading this way. Let us go and stop them, shall we?" Terra said. Frequency smiled and took her arm. "Let's." The three Epics headed for the road the van was driving on. Canis would meet them there. Frequency approached the road right as the van came into sight. The three figures inside looked very civilian like. They would be stopped. "Blitz, now," Frequency said. Blitz summoned a lightning bolt right in front of the van at the same time that Frequency himself began whistling and popped both of the van's front tires. Terra moved the loose dirt from the side of the road into a large barricade in front of the van. "Citizens, leaving the Dalles is prohibited. Don't you remember me? Koschei would be disappointed in you cowards," Frequency said as he shattered the windows of the van. Canis burst down the road, opened the van's doors, whipped out his knives and, slowing down enough to not injure himself, cut small incisions in each of the van's occupants. He wiped away the blood of each and came over to Frequency. "I got it," he said, licking his fingers. The blood left a faint crimson stain on his hands, small compared to the ones already covering Canis's hands and arms. The citizens of Hood River donated blood more often than they liked. "They can't go anywhere without me knowing." Frequency nodded in approval. Canis's bloodlust was, while disgusting, useful. "Step out of the van and identify yourselves," Frequency ordered the three humans in the van. "You will return to your homes or to the fighting." Emma felt accomplished when Lucy let a small smile creep over her face at Emma's joke. Lucy was a hard one to win over. She seemed to hate all Epics, regardless of the fact that she herself was one. "Weird sense of humour indeed, but whoever it is they're certainly strong to make and control an army of this size, no matter how ridiculous that army may be," Lucy replied. Lucy dismissed her inky hounds and they collapsed into pools of ink. While she talked, Lucy knelt on the ground and began writing again. Emma saw the word 'griffin' slowly written out in large letters. "They've got flying capabilities and these kinds of numbers, this is going to be a difficult fight. We only have a few flyers and knowing him, Arse is probably going to spend 10 hours lecturing people before actually making anything useful." Emma smiled when Lucy used Emma's nickname for their superior. Lucy did too. The ink Epic's smile fades quickly, but two smiles in as many minutes was a new record. "Only ten hours? That's if he keeps his eyebrows from dancing all over his face. If that happens, someone's bound to laugh which will only make the lecture longer," Emma replied laughing. Lucy's griffin grew out of the ground, large and golden, as Scribbler used her powers. The beast screeched as it looked Lucy in the eye. Emma was impressed. Lucy could create some impressive things. Emma's powers weren't as flashy. Lucy reached out and pet the griffin. Just then, a few explosions of color burst in the sky, reminding Emma of the Fourth of July fireworks show when she had been a kid, way back before Calamity. Emma wondered if they really were fireworks or if there was some new Epic in town. "Want to go find some bacon?" Lucy asked Emma. "Let's go." Right then, in the east, Emma heard a loud thunderclap. She turned and saw four silhouettes on a building as two more bolts of electricity shot out and killed some of the pigs. A wall of dirt grew in front of the figures and lashed out at the flying bacon. The four figures dispersed soon after. "Should we report that to Mr. Arse? Or do you think he saw that?" Edgerunner asked as she flipped her gravity to hover in the air.
  11. What is this I feel? Pity for Lightwards? Ah, good thing it's fanon AU Lightwards. Sorry about that. I've felt some of that same stuff before. The part about not knowing why the communication was stopped especially, and multiple times. It sucks. But, hey, it happens. This is the coolest place I've ever been on the Internet. Seriously, a place where people with a mutual interest in an author come together to create stories of their own, discuss theories civilly, debate kindly, play games where you strive to kill other members, all the while being courteous? Unheard of. Except for here. You guys are awesome. That would be cool! For at least you, mail-mi, and I, it actually is feasible. We all live in the same state. Voidus is probably the farthest(I think) away, being in Australia. Well Lightsworn Panda too.
  12. Yeah. When it comes to killing Epics, Max doesn't kid around. If he didn't know about Bringer's powers though and thought the baby was a real baby, he'd try to catch the baby with one hand and shoot with the other, or have his backup do the shooting. Tell that to Lightwards.
  13. True. I recommend something like that. I had a different strategy, but revealing it here would make it too easy for the Spiked if a Tineye used my ideas. I did find a lot of Claincy's secrets though.
  14. I like this idea. But know that the Black Fist doesnt have as high of moral standards. If Max survives Portland and makes it to wherever this guy is, he'd kill him as soon as the opportunity presented itself. If he knew the baby was just a copy of a past baby, he wouldn't be so willing to let Bringer go just for that copy of a child. Max isn't such a happy guy.
  15. First off, sorry guys, I don't have as much time this week as I would've liked. I'll still be able to post at least once every day cycle and probably at night, but no guarantees. It should be better next week. I agree about the Smokers. All of you should turn off your copper clouds. Smoking isn't useful to anyone but the Spiked this early in the game. I also agree with the Tineyes not revealing their identities, but I will talk more about that below. At least a double up on some, but I wouldn't be surprised if Meta tripled up a couple of the metals. This is what I agree with most about the Tineyes. When I was a Tineye, it was very useful to have put something in my messages that I could show to prove myself, but as Clancy said, be subtle, but also make sure that it isn't something that someone else could fake claim. It is possible, as I did it myself. As I said above, Tineyes should make sure the message hidden is something that points to them and them only. And yes, I will be taking upon myself the role of Tineye Decoder again. But, if I do pick out something that is likely an indication of who the Tineye is, I won't reveal it in the thread, unless necessary. Well, this is Meta we're talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if there was one Smoker, four Coinshots and five Lurchers. (Well, not too surprised.) There's my two cents so far. I'll try to RP later if I have time.
  16. Okay, good. I actually haven't been able to watch any more since last night. It'll probably take me a while to catch up. For reference, I started the show Arrow on Halloween and only caught up last week.
  17. Yes, I did. That was what Netflix had. Sounds good. I'm excited for that. It does explain all the Doctor and Master stuff in this series right? Like I don't have to go back to the first doctor to understand?
  18. Happy New Year(an hour ago) from Utah! Since I didn't have any plans tonight, I started Doctor Who on Netflix. I watched the first three episodes. I have to say, I'm kinda confused about it, probably from reading what you guys have said about it and not actually being far enough along to actually understand what that means. I...like(I think?) it. I can't really decide. :/ It's kinda weird, but it's also kinda cool, and I think I'll keep watching. I just have one question: Do the special effects/costumes get better?
  19. I made it up as a term that Smasher would use, but my phone dictionary says that it's a real word… "Make something more dense"
  20. That sounds good to me. Part 1 of 3 of the first section of the Destructors in Connell is up. Mail-mi and Voidus have the next two parts.
  21. This is another part of the Destructors story that takes place in Connell, Washington. Jag was left with his Commandos and Metalmech's squad. The other two Epics swung around to hit the steel factory and cause destruction along the way. Jag knew that if they killed the strongest Epics in town, the humans and other Epics would surrender easily and the city would be theirs. He leapt out of the Lightning, leaving two Commandos in the bed to shoot at the guards. The other three got out of the truck as he did. One guard dared to make eye contact with Jaguar. Black Jaguar leapt towards the man. He ripped into the man's neck with his teeth. The skin gave way under his fierce bite easily. Ignoring bullets, Jag turned to the next soldier as the man dropped, bleeding from his jugular. The second man lasted only a second against Jaguar's strength enhanced machete thrusts. A third, a fourth, a fifth. They all fell. To his strength, to his claws, or to his machete, they all fell. When Jag got into a rage like this, regular humans didn't stand a chance. They were all inferior. Jag lifted their weak bodies as if they were feathers. He snapped bones like most people snapped peas. {non existent image for Smasher here.} Smasher drove his jeep past the guards, ignoring any attacks. The commandos would take care of them with their weapons. Smasher made himself as dense as possible so that any stray bullets would just bounce off of him. He also kept a hand on his door to increase the car's chassis's density too. Bullets wouldn't be able to damage the metal as long as he touched it. Smasher drove in a curve, heading towards the steel factory, sweeping from the right. Once he arrived, he got out of the car and hefted his large metal shield. Densifying it, he charged at the nearest soldiers and cut a path through them, shoving them all to the ground. He created force fields in the middle of groups of soldiers, the fields were like small, expanding bubbles: they grew outwards from where he started them, knocking aside anything they hit. They created patches where no soldiers could enter. Any soldiers that had avoided Smasher's first hit were knocked over now. His Commandos began shooting at the prone soldiers on the ground.
  22. Well, minor officially, he wouldn't. But he could find uses for it. East is right where the apartment building where Freq and gang are is. Does her power work on Epics? I can't remember, but I feel like it does. In that case, if Freq saw, he'd have Terra stop them with a thick wall of dirt on the road. Maybe try to scare them with Blitz making a bolt of lightning and Frequency himself would whistle and pop a tire or two. Do you want this to happen? If not, that's fine, the four can keep slaughtering pigs and squirrels. (Really though. Is Panda going to do something new? Has anyone seen Lightsworn lately?)
  23. Where exactly are they? The wall of dirt may have possibly blocked the road if the Fugitives are not quite on the outskirts of town. Otherwise, it depends on the Fugitives' appearance. Are they dressed like Epics? If so, Freq would let them just leave town to eliminate opposition. If they appeared to be humans, Freq would stop them from leaving.
  24. If a lightning show and dirt wall interests them, there's Freq and his crew.
