I enjoy those scenes very much myself. It's okay. I know what you mean about being out of practice. After starting to write with Altermind, I've realized how long it's been. I need to get back into him and Portland in general.

Oh, Lightwards. You just want to provoke every one of Funtimes's vanillas don't you? And you look dangerously like you're suggesting Nathan die.

SOunds good. I've already written up Altermind's reaction to Lightwards and Funtimes so far, so it shouldn't take me much longer after you post to get the next part up.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What with Tal's denial of her Guardsman role and this defense, I'm inclined to take my vote off of you, Eoldren. I never said that I had suspicions of you from the outset or that they were very strong. I said that I had some suspicions of you when I first voted for you, those were that you were posting infrequently and, at that point, mainly RP. Earlier this cycle, I said that I thought I might've been on to something when I voted for you and then with Mek's reveal, I thought I was correct. Now, I don't believe that I was right anymore and for that, I apologize. When I "poke" vote, I don't remove it as soon as the person posts (unless it was just to get them active again), but when I say that I have suspicions, I remove my vote when those are assuaged. When you posted after I called you out, it didn't really lessen my suspicions of you. You just asked some questions, mainly. Also, I wasn't able to get on until later the next cycle, as you can see from my posts. I just went back and looked and I had totally forgotten you said something about those poke votes. I catch up on this thread mainly from email notifications throughout the day, and when doing so, forgot all about that post by the time I got on. I accepted that light eyes vote because I don't mind taking a vote for the team, but I also didn't want to die. That's the reason I asked Alv to take his vote off of me if the Lighteyes were going to vote for me. With Meta, I will grant you that I had less concrete suspicions than I thought when I was trying to figure out how to post. When I was getting ready to go out of town for the weekend, I quickly jumped on and posted my opinions as I stated later. The blocking of Odysa was just a suggestion so as to limit the Spies further, if she was one. I figured that we might as well try it. Later, as I thought about it, I realized that some of those suggestions weren't as well thought out as I had thought. I also apologize for your last point. I did jump on that vote too easily, I admit. I thought Mek was onto something there and I was excited to catch another spy so easily. With all that said, for now, my suspicions rest most heavily on Alinel. The "sweet spot" of posting as others have brought up seems to be where you are sitting perfectly. You aren't posting as much as normal and I don't think a kill going through while you were role-blocked means anything. If you were a spy, your partner or one of the other teams' targets might have been the one to get through.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
How ironic that Ace would give us the last piece in this puzzle to verify another of his comrades. Eoldren. I thought I had something with you early on when I voted for you, but wasn't sure what. Jasnah Mek, good work on that watching. One word of advice, in the future with things like this, it is better to wait at least until halfway through the cycle before revealing something like that so that we can see how people accuse each other and discuss before they have such a clear cut choice. Because now, any spy that votes will most likely vote for Eoldren, so that they aren't suspected as much. I'm not complaining about it though, I'm very happy to get two spies down in one cycle.- 611 replies

I still think you're suspicious, I just now can't determine why that is. I just decided that since I can't find anything about your posts yet, I might as well search for the others. We do have four left(excluding MAcen.)- 611 replies

“Belief isn't simply a thing for fair times and bright days...What is belief - what is faith - if you don't continue in it after failure?...Anyone can believe in someone, or something that always succeeds...But failure...ah, now, that is hard to believe in, certainly and truly. Difficult enough to have value. Sometimes we just have to wait long enough...then we find out why exactly it was that we kept believing." -Sazed “There's always another secret.' -Kelsier” "Do you stop loving someone just because they betray you? I don't think so. That's what makes the betrayal hurt so much - pain, frustration, anger... and I still loved her. I still do.” -Kelsier Here's a couple.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification

There you go. That's how you start trolling. Well done, whoever the good Guardsman is. You chose the perfect time to use your power. About Macen's save, I'm inclined to think that it was the spy on his team, but it could very well be any of the other ones, since it was pretty certain that he was a spy and they probably just wanted to save one of their own. Which means that that Guardsman just lost his save. There is no point in voting for MAcen though, since he's guaranteed. I'd say that he's a perfect Shardblade target for Tal's first kill. Wyrm, can a surgeon save themselves? "Mailiw's acted like an Eliminator throughout the course of the game. I'm also suspicious of Odysa and Kasimir being in the same team. Additionally, it's always good to suspect Wilson. Still, Mailiw is a good bit more suspicious than the other three. Can't colorcode on mobile, voting for Mailiw. " Jasnah, what is this about? What have I done that is "acting like an Eliminator?" I'm very curious to hear about this, particularly since you pop in just to accuse me. To try and figure out why Ren seems off to me, I went through and read his posts again. I don't really suspect him anymore, but figured that I'd post this summary of his actions since I already typed it up.: Ren, during the first cycle posted twice, both with extensive RP and keteks. He also voted each time. He then said that he would be busy for the next few days. Retracted both votes. Cycle two: posted about wanting people to vote and that he doesnt like poke votes. Posted a second time, voting for Karlin. Posted Keteks at a request. Cycle 3: Posted trying to figure out why there weren't any kills during the battle. Voted for Newan. Wrote Keteks for Jain and Ash's deaths. Cycle 4: Voted for me, because of my suggestions. Posted twice about server issues. Once again, he suggested we vote and discuss more. Edit: I haven't been roleblocked, so I don't know whats up with his actions, but they weren't against me.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
First, let me address the points against me(mainly about my suggestions on this one.) I was out of town this weekend and only just got back. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get on at all this cycle, and so wanted to state my opinions and suggestions early. I thought about it afterwards and realized that some of them wouldn't actually work out so well. Second, the Spy Officer. I was fairly convinced it was Macen, with points being brought up against him as well as my gut feeling. But with him admitting his surgeon role, I'm in a dilemma similar to Wilson claiming Officer. Lynching him may catch an Officer Spy, or it may lose us one of the few protective roles. It would also, as Kas said, decimate our Lighteyes. If we're wrong, we will have(probably) two loyal Lighteyes with one traitor in their midst. That will leave their vote up to easy manipulation. I don't know where to place my vote though, since many of my suspects happen to be Lighteyes, but I know that only one of them is actually a spy. The darkeyes are more numerous, but have more that don't speak up enough. Reihmer. The keteks are awesome, but something feels off about you. Tomorrow, when I have more time to analyze, I'll try to find out why I feel like that about you. This is the only time I'll be able to get on before the cycle ends.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Storm it! I thought Kas was on to Meta there. I had had my small suspicions about him, and the little points being brought up a bout him and then Kas's suspicions cemented it for me. But, apparently, we were wrong. I'm not sure where to go, but I do have some suggestions. Any messengers we may have left should contact Tal so that we set up a reliable base of communications. Wilson, I suggest you block Odysa again, just to be safe. Any scouts we have should leave camp again. Those are my suggestions to hopefully avoiding more deaths.- 611 replies

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh. I thought it meant next cycle. Okay, thanks. Laying out your logic is one thing. Using wording that assumes Odysa's guilt is different. The way you said "her teammate is" or "Odysa did _____" sounds like you know that she's guilty. Okay, I will at least concede on this point. I forgot about the SK's stalking. As you said, Officer is the only role a Lighteyes could have that would help discover someone. So, I don't know why you didn't just announce it once you said what you did. Hiding the role that is obvious to everyone else doesn't make sense. This post did convince me slightly of your innocence, but more than that, it's the fact that this is too easy. You're a better player than this, so why does so much of what you say contradict and implicate yourself? Even when you're evil, it's not like this. For now, I'm leaving my vote. I'll wait until Twei gets on to defend herself before I decide to test your claim. Edit: Yes, Twei is Torwel who is played by twelfthrootoftwo.- 611 replies

Kobold and I have a certain character killing that we have planned for the war, but I'm not sure when exactly. The Black Fist also needs to get somewhat through the plan. Part of that depends on if the War will destroy Portland completely. Twi, do you want to do Remington's response first and then I'll do Max's? Ohhhh, I like that a lot. Sounds good to me.

Mid-Range Game 4: The Alethi War of Unification
Mailliw73 replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So the Highstorm is next cycle? And the person who received the Spanreed can send anonymous messages to Jain's partner and vice versa? Joe, I did see that white above the quote. ;P Did you see mine? You seem so convinced of Odysa's guilt here. No manipulation, my chull. That was definitely some heavy-handed manipulation there. YOu have a tone that sounds like you are certain of her guilt and you go on to show your "proof". If I were an eliminator, I would've been targeting the players who were most likely to be good, so as not to hit a potential teammate. Really? You would protect the other killers in this game? Just like you did with the Serial Killer in LG9? You were the one who wanted to kill the serial killer even though he'd help us with our objective. Meta, the reason I haven't posted a lot is because I am busy this week and am having some troubles on 17S occasionally. I should be getting more available and so I should be posting more soon. Jain was guilty? Wow. The only reason I suspected him at all was his rant at the beginning. It seemed slightly forced and more grandiose than normal, but I ignored it, thinking that he did it so soon so that Joe couldn't call him out for not ranting. Just a note, while I suspect Wilson: Alv? Ren(kinda) Karlin Mek Araris These are the five players that Wilson hasn't interacted with all game. The last three especially, but her only interactions with Ren were conversations about bloodthirstiness and evilness and she referenced Alv, but has never really interacted with him. Karlin, mek, and Araris have been completely ignored by her. The reason I bring this up is that in LG9, Wilson talked about how we needed to make sure that we avoided agreeing with or focusing on one another so that in things like Aonar's charts, we wouldn't have many connections to each other. These five are the ones I see as most likely to be her partner if she is a spy. Granted, she could've changed that completely, but she's too gung-ho on Odysa for me to believe that they are working together.- 611 replies

That wasn't a good idea, Odysa. That's what got Jain and Ash killed so early on in their first games. Randomness doesn't help anyone. If you aren't making any sense or reason, you are going to get yourself killed.- 611 replies

Even after you knew you were on the Kill-on-Sight list? BothwWilson and Odysa's votes are weird to me. Odysa particularly feels wrong. Wilson, my current suspicions have been relieved, but of course, not completely. Odysa voted foraWilson because she talks a lot and then retracted it easily andtquickly. That's just toocweird to me, but Ihwant to give herka chance to defendaherself.s Alv, I didn't volunteer again because I didn't think it necessary. You all know that I volunteer as that tribute, and I'm not retracting that offer. I don't plan on restating that every cycle though. LIGHTEYES, vote for me in the secret ballot.- 611 replies

Wow. This sounds really cool. I think you balanced his powers pretty well with the one copy limit and the weakness. Can a Chaos gather more than one power at a time? Would Planeshift stay at whatever size he was when his weakness was activated? Astoria is building up to be very cool!
