Why would Kelsier do as you bid? That sounds nothing like him or Joe.

How do we know this? I'll admit, the rules with the Krell confuse me and I've never played a game with this 3rd pseudo-faction thing. I'm also behind on the analysis, like Joe. But I'll vote this time. I'm not a fan of any of the lynch targets: Sart, I always have a gut feeling against, so I want to be wary of my predispositions; Bard was killed C1 in the last game; Stick, I have no idea. I'll probably vote for Stick unless there's something else useful brought up before the end of the cycle.

@Darkness Ascendant Sorry man! I never supported those legends; I think they’re trumped up more than anything else. I’ve also been occupied with another game and a busy weekend, so no guarantees to my activity. I can promise that I’ll be around and I’ll try to figure this out, but I don’t have any leads yet. I would've gone for a lynch, but I forgot what MRs are like. I trust Elandera too, but that’s pretty common for me. I didn’t get any PMs

Lord Ruler, it was hard to play another role. Vin was almost glad Aname had finally spotted her. Being Valette for Kelsier was one thing, but she got to make up her own character. Being Laila Tourange? Vin had to contort her personality so much it was going to be hard to drop the pretentious air. Playing Lady Tourange by day and going out with Zane at night left her exhausted. Exhausted and a failure. Elend had sent her to use his brother to help the budding empire. She'd been so close too. She and Zane had finally tracked down the infiltrators, but then the common people had turned on them. They had decided they'd rather kill those willing to kill to protect them than those who were actively killing innocents. The hypocrisy still rampant in Luthadel was now apparent. And Vin detested it. She knew she could never trust anyone. How often had Reen warned her? Never trust anyone else. Not even the leaders of the community. Not skaa. Not noble. Not merchant. Only Vin could be trusted. And now the town would fall to the infiltrators. Lekal would win the war before he even arrived. Kelsier, why? If he had been here, he'd have been able to save the city. Laila was in love with the Lord Ruler, but Vin loved the first man to ever love her. But she'd failed. Vin had failed this city. Vin pulled off the wig and extravagant dress she'd worn as Laila and threw on her mistcloak as night approached. She jumped out into the mists, leaving Luthadel in the shadows. Here in the mists, she was home. With Zane, she'd be safe. Luthadel held no hope for her and Elend kept no promises. She was done with the people of the Lord Ruler's corrupted empire. They had failed her.

Devotary, the only thing you’ve said in our PM is that a Elandera is cleared and you think Coop is probably village. Rath. Devotary. It makes more sense to me. I’ll switch back to Rath if we still need a leading lynch, but otherwise, Devotary is my highest suspicion and I want to stick with it. @Elandera @_Stick_ @Hemalurgic Headshot Just a heads up that I’ve changed my vote.

I think devotary is more likely to be a Mistborn than Rath for sure, and Fura’s numbers seem to be right and we need to find one of those today. @Hemalurgic Headshot @Ark1002 @Straw @Snipexe @Adavantos @Coop772 What are your thoughts? Would you participate in a Devotary lynch?

Solidifying the lynch is great and all, but it does give the elims and Mistborn a convenient place to put their votes under the excuse of “avoiding a hammer”. For example, a 4, 5, and 8 vote lead is excessive. We learn much less when the votes go that way. A leader of the last-minute-vote-change-bandwagon thing is Devotary, who has been the last vote on every single lynch except Araris’ and only because Bard voted just after. I’ve rarely heard any of Devotary's suspicions, in PMs or thread(feel free to correct me if I’m wrong). And of course, they’ve slid under the radar. The last point isn’t condemning, but the other two have kept bothering me. I feel like Devotary has access to a kill, either Zane’s or the elims’ because she doesn’t seem to be very invested in any lynch. You know who else has been a last minute vote changer? Rath. He’s been right before Devotary on both of the past two lynches. The D1 lynch is his only exception, where he voted on Bard. The only suspicion I remember him sharing is his on Straw, which he seems to have stopped pushing for no reason. The only other consistent last minute voter is Fura. I trust him more because of everything else he’s done in this game. His first day’s vote was also the first on the train against Araris, nowhere near the end. He’s included for comprehensiveness. Due to these thoughts, I was about to switch my vote to Devotary since I think she’s likelier to be a MB and Rath is more likely to be an elim, but then Elandera ninjad me and voted for Rath...

So, what are your reads then, Straw? Okay, that’s fair enough. I didn’t calculate how long it would take them to win after Conrad’s death. I was thinking that halfway would be a good point to make sure neither team had an advantage over us. I’m not sure what this means. You switch between you and they and I’m confused. I haven’t really talked with Stick much in PMs, if that’s what you’re asking. Edit: Reading through most of Stick's earlier posts, the thing that sticks out to me most is a sort of...nonchalance(?) about the elims. It starts to get more serious at the end of D2 with the Rae lynch, but there's this kind of apathy that I see. I don't really know what I think about it.

I just meant that we’d know more likely if Stick was actually a Seeker or not. How does Zane!Stick get 2 kills if Conrad is dead? I still just don’t see an argument aside from a Smoking on Stick. If I had some kind of evil read on them, I’d have no problem with this. But, part of this is me knowing basically nothing about Stick. I’ll reread through their posts tomorrow and see if I Change my mind. Xino, Bard, and HH were the Mistborn kills. Does anyone know what Stick’s style might be? Is he someone to frame people, someone to kill his suspicions, someone to stay under the radar with kills, etc? Honestly, it’s still weird to realize that the “SKs” have the same win con as us.

What has he told you? With the code, we’ve missed some things. Stick has claimed to scan CadCom(useless), and someone that he believes is Conrad? I assume a lynch of that person might be helpful in lending credence to Stick’s claim or destroying it. Edit: I think, at least, that knowing Stick’s claims-especially of the Conrad scan, should help inform us.

Fair enough. The Mistborn are a different case than regular elims. I still believe the point stands, as there should be something that sets them apart then just their role. The kills for one should help. Secondly, this is the point in the game, or close to it, where we may have to decide between lynching an elim and lynching a Mistborn. What are everyone’s thoughts on that? I think once we’ve got 2(and thus, likely half) elims, then the Mistborn would be priority.

I’m also less and less a fan of analysis of roles and distribution being the basis of suspicions. Maybe the GMs have gotten more predictable than when I was here before, but this got the village into trouble more than once before. I’m much more passionate about lynching someone that I have real suspicion of than someone whose role doesn’t quite fit. Was going to make this an edit, but Elandera replied.

Hmm. I’m conflicted. I didn’t really have a read on Stick before and I don’t think I’ve played any games with him(except the AN/AG, where I didn’t know who he was). So up until now I haven’t seen anything suspicious from him, but a Smoking is definitely unnatural. Options I see: Stick is Zane or Zane smoked Vin!Stick. Or Stick is being framed by elims. Or Stick is being smoked by a villager just doing random Smokings. Or Stick is an elim and they have a Smoker. Thats about all I see for options. Being a Mistborn is definitely the most likely, imo. So, with only one elim down, do we go for a possible Mistborn or do we stick on a possible elim lynch and then go for the possible Mistborn tomorrow? Personally, since I have higher suspicions of Rath and Devotary than I do of Stick, I’d rather stick to them and lynch Stick tomorrow depending on the outcome of today’s lynch.

I don’t think a roleblock would show up as an attack on HH that he survived though.

I’m going to start the voting with Rath. You and CadCom are the two that wavered back and forth in my suspicions and I wasn’t sure about either of you, but now that he’s dead, I think you’re probably my top suspect. I’m still not super settled with how you reacted to the lynch that began on you last day.

Not sure what the Stick thing is about, but concerning CadCom, me too. He told me last night that he was a Thug 1, but that Fura, Lum, and I were the only three he’d told. I’ve so far really trusted those two. So, did either of you share that claim with anyone else?? If so, that would lead us probably straight to the person who killed him.

“Are the colons supposed to be pronounced somehow?” Millis added.

Millis “Storm” Stromberg was so confused. Who was this random latecomer? And his call sign was : ph34r :? How in the world was anyone supposed to say that quickly in flight? Weirdo.

I told Elandera and Lum that I wanted to try to lynch Steel. I told Coop before Xino died that Steel was my second suspicion. I had that whole post at the end of D1/start of D2 about Steel and my suspicions of him.

It refers to the one that was not used more than initially. There were only 2 messages in it. If you use the first message of the other PM, then it's U. Edit: and I can explain my reasoning tonight. It's not perfect, but probably my next best.

Ah, that makes sense, I was confused at what exactly fit into that. So, one point I want to make clear is that Steel telling me his smoking targets always happened at the night turn, so it would be after the votes were visible. Two potential elim options(and I recognize this is with the assumption he's evil): 1. He's Vin and chose to claim one of the powers he can actually have. 2. He chose a role that was easy to fake and used the tallies to make his claim work. The second only works if someone else actually smoked Coop or if Elandera is lying about being a Rioter. We have yet to see Elandera actually Riot. Given my reads of them before, I generally trust Elandera much more than I do Steel. Another option is that he's just a village/elim Smoker and is actually jsut smoking at random like he claims, but that gives no real reads to his alignment. I am more than willing to bus Steel, as anyone who played that Secret Hitler game with us can attest. But, yes, it seems pretty clear that we aren't on the same team. An anti-village(elim and/or mistborn) Smoker still works. For the elims, it gives them some element of voting control without actually giving them vote manipulation abilities. And then Vin obviously has that ability. It's not him supporting the CadCom lynch without voting for CadCom that I have a problem with. It's the way he voted for Rae with contradictory reasons and then left it, supposedly knowing it would do no good, and then got angry at everyone else who voted for Rae. It's an interesting dilemma. If Steel flips elim, you may have wasted a scan. If he's village, then you actually can respect his wishes. To that person. The L comes from the false PM and the word you should use to confirm comes from the real one. You are the person with whom night plans were made. Steel, that's a nice signoff, but I just am not buying the extra emotional attacks recently. It's too heavily laid on.
