    I loved this book. So many Cosmere easter eggs. Some of my faves: Vasher!! All the colour metaphors! Love it! Forget a jaw-dropper this was a book-dropper: Nightblood being all "Hi Szeth" Radiant Renarin I love me the weird ones Dalinar BONDED the Stormfather! Finally getting the names of all 10 orders: Windrunner, Skybreaker, Releaser/Dustbringer, Edgedancer, Truthwatcher, Lightweaver, Elsecaller, Willshaper, Stoneward, Bondsmith, and the names and sort-of descriptions of the 10 surges - that said we really need to ask Brandon what he means by 'Axial interconnection' Oh yes, shardblades and spren, finding out why Szeth's truthless and Taravangian’s super creepy master plan. Oh! And Hoid drinking some powder in his wine. Allomancing it up! Going to be re and re-re and re-re-re-reading this for weeks!

    guys just done some freq. analysis (see spreadsheet here: http://speedy.sh/xTNhq/Book1.xlsx ) and 101 actually occurs more than 111 (9 occurences vs 8)

    Cem,what do you think about Ym from the Ym interlude being order 5? he has growth and his spren is described as crystal/LIGHT like, i can imagine him being light/growth, and itd be odd to see two interludes focusing on the same branch of KR?

    In that case... seeing how Brandon was happy to let us know which order are Skybreakers, could you let us know which one it actually is?

    If that's the case, then I think skybreakers = metal, travel, magnetism. I'm sure we've seen dustbringers combust and that sounds like heat and pressure to me more

    I like it; and if spren are the souls of objects ( as Kaladin's mum said) maybe devouring a spren involves killing something?

    2 things; one, I've updated the first post to account for the whole 'travel' discussion, and added some stuff about voidbinding I've been considering. two; on reflection, I'm not sure about the Worldsingers as a KR Order. Reason being Hoid is a WS. We also believe Hoid is a Lightweaver, so that might make Lightweaving and worldsinging the same order. Also, if as theorised ( http://coppermind.net/wiki/Worldsingers ) Hoid had a hand in putting together both the worldsingers and the worldbringers of terris, then it cant be a KRO as it would have been created by Hoid, not the Heralds of the Almighty Separate point; Dawnsingers - KRO?     I concede that moving Travel would make sense as travel and gravity are v similar (will update over the weekend) but putting magnetism/electricity/charges between stone and flesh (9 and 10) seems odd; If it is a surge I'd expect it to be near metal, which would put it between 8 and 9.

    Good point, I think I agree. I think Skybreakers should/will have some other humanity-related surge in the way plants have growth

    That is a fantastic idea. I looked at the gems and thought, topaz and heliodor, growth must belong to the corresponding orders, but the targeting idea is great!

    This is part of the issue I'm having, it would help if we knew what each Order's spren was; Honorspren is obvious, anything growthy is obvious but the rest...
