It looks like the continent is being sucked into a hole also, reading this: http://clarkplanetarium.org/why-are-planets-spherical/ it sounds like its a pretty safe bet to assume a roughly spherical planet, unless Brandon's done some REALLY weird stuff! I can't get over how much ocean there is! Is the origin 'behind' this view of the continent, on the other side of the sphere?

It would be nice to see Brandon tackle some LGBT characters in Stormlight, I think it'd be a really interesting setting to see how that story plays out. I've kinda seen Jasnah as 'married to the job' with her scholarship, but could present an interesting angle for some great character-building

I'd love to know if V has sanctioned his separation from a certain naughty sword. Maybe it's the price for him being hopped to Roshar?

I think you may have something with the Roshar/Nalthis link. After all WoB is that is fueling himself with Stormlight instead of Breath and I remember someone asked Brandon if the smoke from the eyes from a shardblade wound was like the black smoke from Nightblood and he said it was a very clever question or somesuch. The colour draining of both Breath and Stormlight/Shardblade death is therefore a very interesting note

I was wondering if any other Sharders are UK-Based and if they'd be up for a meet-up, I'm thinking a London pub, beer and geeking out. I'm part of a few online communities and brotherhood without banners and tarvalon.net both do occasional meetups but I haven't seen any 17th shard ones - other than signings, I mean just a social meet up. Well Vasher as a returned who is getting his weekly breath (or stormlight as Brandon has implied can also sustain a returned) is essentially immortal. So the real question is do we have an indication of timescales, Warbreaker vs Stormlight archive wrt to 1) when Vasher returned 2) when the heralds first popped up if 1) was after 2) we'd be able to discredit this theory, otherwise we can continue to consider

Well if the Bondsmiths forge bonds, perhaps its they who engineered or perhaps altered the 'precepts' that bind Odium. We've heard things about Champions being able to be elected by each side and we knwo Ishi'elin was the one who orgainised and formulated rules for the Knights Radiants. Maybe the Bondsmiths forged the agreement or whatever that put a (temporary) pin in the desolation cycle. Or maybe, as forgers of bonds they have the power to break bonds too - that would fit with the separating voidspren theory. Maybe to separate the voidspren all the KR's spren had to be separated too, hence Recreance. Just babbling!
