She watched the woman go red and start stumbling over her words. Pry chuckled softly and started making a large curve in that direction to have a better view. After all, she had nothing better to do.

Pry wandered in, curious as to what was causing all the noise. Oh. she thought. A party? She shook her head. These people were strange and no party of theirs could possibly be safe.

Gonev blinked his eyes groggily. Rusts. Had he fallen asleep? It appeared so. Well that was awkward. He noticed Lena wave at him. He waved back and swallowed a yawn. Yep. He was pretty sure he'd spaced out real good.

Eve slipped inside, hair covering half her face. She already was feeling uncertain of her choice to show up. The one who looked to be in charge seemed to be an Epic, the first one she'd seen since Cherry...she swallowed heavily. Have twelve years done nothing? she asked herself. Suppose not. she decided, her hatred for Cherry filling her up again for what felt like the millionth time in her life. She stopped her fingers from brushing her hair out of her face. If worst cames to worse, it wouldn't do to have her entire face be recognizeable. One person there wore a mask and while Eve understood the allure it had never appealed to her. Better to be more inconspicuous even if it has more risk. Her fingers drifted to her pocket, checking once again for easy access methods of defense. Cold metal calmed her nerves even though she knew that in reality it wouldn't help her much. In addition to that, the weight of other weapons from inside her boot made her feel a little more sturdy. Eve took a deep breath by her standards and hoped for the best. Not that much could be considered "the best" to her. She'd already lost what qualified under her definition of "the best" three times. She wasn't hoping for a fourth.

Her goal is to be less powerful and against all that, so I think I'll keep her as she is for now. Family will all be added in more detail once I iron out her entire childhood timeline. Which is kind of a mess at the moment.

This character is meant for E3, but I may use her this era for some small things since it's looking like we're only having a one year time skip. Is there anything that anyone thinks ought to be adjusted?

*searches for the miscommunication* Right. Sorry. That was a tad confusing. The 8th night of Chanukah was last week. And there were presents and/or money involved. This fast, Asarah b'tevet, is seperate. It's for something that happened in a different year than the events of what the celebration of Chanukah is for.

8:31 here. Also EST. Not quite a holiday I'm afraid . So no special foods or customs besides not eating anything. It's a commemoration of the day when Jerusalem was put under siege, I think. There are a lot of fasts - all remembering different tragedies and the like. This time of year after Chanukah is pretty much holiday-less, next one is in March (?), though it varies year by year depending on how the calendars line up. No offense taken. Explaining strange Jewish stuff I do is always pretty fun.

Little did he know that Prism Acute was stalking his every move. She too was clad in a dark cloak, but unlike him, she wore soft leather boots that made no noise when she walked. That had been his first mistake. His second had been the cloak. Pry'd been watching the gate for awhile, ready to follow anyone who looked the slightest bit off. And his third mistake had been the most important - he hadn't glanced behind to check for tails. She kept her distance, but didn't let him out of her sight. Nighttime was a most suspicious time to travel and Pry was very curious indeed. That could prove to be a poor combination.
