  1. Also, you could use the inherent drawback of placing Easter eggs in a book: the author has to describe it. In a movie, there could just be a face in a crowd, easy to miss. But in a book, every word is deliberate. If someone is described carefully, they are probably important. And possibly Hoid. Happy hunting!
  2. When you wonder if anyone has made spren emojis
  3. Anyway, it was bound to happen sometime. Best to get it over with early.
  4. Yes, I was in fact worried about that honestly. But I can delete my account if it becomes a problem (don't make it one). Thanks for telling me
  5. When you find out that two of your teachers have read the cosmere and henceforth always have WoK out on your desk to try to promote a conversation
  6. My life to yours, my Breath become yours. Also, if it doesn't spoil too much, what is Breath?
  7. To save everyone trouble here's my version... Wit's Poem.docx
  8. After some research, I realize I should point out that I haven't yet read Warbreaker. I'll get there soon, though!
  9. I'm sorry, I'm a bit new to this type of thing. Is this an important thing to do?
  10. Thanks for the cookies and warm welcome! I'm leaning towards Elend as a favourite right now - because who doesn't like an idealistic bookworm? - but that will probably change as I meet new characters.
  11. Well, I really like the characters in the Wax & Wayne series (Haven't read Bands of Mourning yet!), but the the worldbuilding in Stormlight Archive is my favorite.
  12. First post! I'm gonna start right off here: Is being a cosmere reader is like being on your first bridge run or is it just me? At first, you're at the back, and quite disgruntled at not being able to see anything. It's EXHAUSTING. Sometimes you want to give up, but you just have to keep going. You keep tripping over stuff and trying to guess where you're going. And then... Congrats! You're at the very front and EVERYTHING IS DYING. Thoughts?
