  1. Those...are actually really cool predictions. I like how you opened with Wit wearing a wig.
  2. I think both theories are correct. The Radiants from Starfalls (true Radiants) can form their own plate from Spren or some other magical means, and the Shardplate used today are actually fabrials or something that were modeled after the Radiant plate.
  3. I like the idea of the placement of the orders signifying to what degree to each Shard they are acclimated to. I think Honor is partly about forging bonds, which is why Adhesion and Tension are the closest to Honor. Growth would also fit as the closest to Cultivation (not sure how Illumination fits). This may also signify how strict each group of Order-spren are; the closer to Honor, the more strict the oaths.
  4. The distance from Elantris to Teod?
  5. The Azish?
  6. New York?
  7. I think I'll just go ahead and give it to you Mailli. Maybe Sesemalex Dar wasn't as memorable as it was for me, or maybe my clue just stunk.
  8. Almost there.
  9. It's a place (or the people's of the place).
  10. Nope. Hmmm. I wanted to be clever with my clue, but maybe "The crème de la crème with Crem (avec Crem?)" makes more sense.
  11. I like your interpretation, but nope.
  12. The crème de la crème de la crem.
  13. Here's the quote I think you meant: And here's a couple more relevant ones. So let's say Honor/Cultivation is blind to writing. Writing could then be like when you write in lemon juice on paper. You can't see it. But then you put it in the oven and 'burn' the writing and it appears. When Navani writes the glyph at the end of the book, the Shard would merely see through the ink and just see the ground. Once the ink is burned, however, the writing is engraved (i assume) into the ground. At that point, you could read the 'invisible' parts of the ground. Hope that makes sense.
  14. It'd be kind of weird for Brandon to have a POV from a Herald but not make it obvious it's a Herald. I wouldn't put it past him though.
  15. I think plate only interferes with magical abilities. Taking in Stormlight wouldn't count I don't think. For example, if Kaladin were in Shardplate and his faceplate was open, he wouldn't have any trouble breathing in Stormlight (is my assumption). As for maintaining stormlight, a few things. First, the fully-ascended radiants (like from the chapter Starfalls) would've known all the ideals, thus they would be able to manage stormlight more efficiently. Second, they may just carry around spare infused gems. Third, I'm thinking that plate originally worked with the radiant in maintaining stormlight somehow (your suggestion might be right).
  16. I'm actually disappointed with the cover. Given that this was going to be Shallan's book, I was expecting her to be the focus of the cover. It's also strange to me that he used the same setting for both books (the shattered plains with a storm in the background). Was really hoping for Shadesmar for the cover.
  17. I think this has to do with an ellipse having two focii. If you think of a circle as an ellipse where both focii are at the same point, then lines that cross one focii cross both focii. I also believe the strength of the bind points depends on how close to the "focii" of the circle the intersecting lines of the triangle are (hope that made sense). So in the case of an ellipse, the only "triangle" that cross over two separate focii is the straight line.
  18. I kind of have my own image of the cover in my head already. It's Jasnah and Shallan on a "boat" in Shadesmar, with the "sun" on the back cover part. I assume they will go to Shadesmar together at some point in WoR, so this seems plausible. The only issue with this, is that I conceived this image when the working title was still BoEP. But the "Radiance" in the title might not mesh with the darkness of Shadesmar.
  19. I'm thinking that each order's name includes a variation of it's respective Essence. Zephyr = Wind Talus = Stone Lucentia = Light So Dustbringers I thought could be of the essence Vapor, but if Skybreakers becomes a verified order, my money is on them being Vapor. In which case, Dustbringers would be a candidate for the Unmade (or something else completely).
  20. I'm 90% confident that the name of each order includes their respective essence (Zephyr = Wind, Talus = Stone), so Lightweavers would be the name for Lucentia's order. Perhaps, using the two Rosharan surges of the Lightweavers together mimics LIghtweaving as it is known on Yolen. It's just that on Roshar, Lightweaving can be split into two abilities.
  21. I don't know how relevant this is to your theorizing, but it's something from WoK (ch37) that sticks out to me. Like Brandon is trying to tell us something. I think an interesting question to ask Brandon would be, "If Shai were to Forge on Roshar, what spren would react to it?"
