  1. My day is now made. I can still give out cookies, just not in intro threads. I STILL HAVE A PURPOSE. *takes deep breath* @Thorax the changeling. Here's a cookie. In fact, since apparently it's okay to say this, here's a cookie, courtesy of TUBA! You can be certain that this, like the puppy, has no Hemalurgic spikes in it. Totally safe to eat.
  2. Oh boy. I believe I have heard of a place on the site with lots of MLP stuff, but I don't frequent those parts - the Reckoners RP, iirc, might help you out? (@Voidus do I have the right thing here?)
  3. Fine then, I suppose I can't fault someone for being careful about spikes.
  4. Wha - who do you take me for!? Unspiked, of course!
  5. I did the math - if you read at an average of ten seconds per post, a day and six hours - without doing anything else. So, factoring in everything else, two days. Not bad, really. Anyway, welcome to the Shard! Have...er, have a puppy? Here's a puppy. I swear on my characters that it has nothing to do with any inside jokes, just a cute puppy. Edit: WAIT A SECOND. @Chaos, would I be allowed to offer this fine person a cookie, since this is TLPW and not their intro thread? It's not possible to derail this thing, it has less rails than the Shardcast NAMED "Who Needs Rails". There's not even a post count anymore. *hopeful puppy dog eyes* *puppy from this post also gives puppy dog eyes*
  6. The singer songs?

      *Slow claps*

I mean, it's actually not that bad of a move- though I haven't had any teams where it played any part.

(Proceeds to go all technical Pokemon, and reads the entire article:P)

I didn't realize it existed until that very moment, while playing SoulSilver...

Well neither did I, but that article makes it seem pretty dang good.

  7. Defending Elysium: Hmmmm.
  8. Deteca listened with a raised eyebrow - Did they steal his phone? - then nodded to herself and spoke. "I'll meet you at Didgeridoo, okay? Oh - and tell the woman who just spoke to me that when trying to intimidate someone, less is more; at least, in my experience. Stay safe, all of you." She shoved her phone in her pocket and poked her head around the corner into the room Tena was in. "I'm heading to Didgeridoo to meet with a couple members of the DA. Want to come?" Her worry about Tena dying wasn't gone, but she supposed everyone had someone they could lose. That shouldn't be the stopping factor when it came to battle. Well, ideally there wouldn't be battle at all. But the Alleyverse was what it was.
  9. She mused over that. Theoretically, TUBA and the DA had a truce right now. Theoretically. "Smart move. Don't worry, Denizens can be unnerving, but they probably won't hurt you. This location isn't a good one to meet at; where are you?" Not the most reassuring thing to say, perhaps, but there was always the chance.
  10. Itiah, that was an awesome scene! Deteca's phone trilled; not with a text, but with a call. Eiran. Frowning, she stepped out of the room and took the call. "What's up? Are the tunnels holding up?"
  11. Why is that cow freaking me out so much.
  12. Oh no! That sucks. I hope they stop itching soon. Aaaaand good night as soon as I got on. Read y'all tomorrow.
  13. "Aha!" I said, pointing, "I knew you had a European accent! Awesome. Jamie's not a Knight Radiant - she's called a Twinborn, apparently. Another new type of magic." I shrugged. "As for spren, they're probably all over in the Cognitive Realm, though we don't really see them in the Physical unless they've bonded someone." Not only is Rob a small bean, he also has excellent taste in fast food. The answer to that question is never no! You ALWAYS need more cake! Yes, the poll is for after we end this "season", so to speak, of TKND.
  14. Kingkiller Chronicles greeting. Basically, how's it going?
  15. I'm making a note of this for anyone who hasn't yet hid a post of theirs - I just tested it and can't find a way to bring the thing back. I don't mind personally, I chose a post from ages ago in the NW Boon/Bane thread that wasn't super important, but if anyone else plans to test this, pick something you don't care about. Definitely an interesting update, though! Thanks (Also, my signature technically reaches four lines, but I think it's pretty concise and it's not taking up much room. Do you want me to try and whittle away a word or two so it's exactly three, or am I okay?)
  16. Hi BoS! How's the road to Tinue?
  17. I don't blame you. Good luck, Jay! If we can do anything to help, tell us!
  18. ...'1000 word essay'? I suppose I can understand the sentiment behind it, even if I don't quite agree. I just hope it doesn't affect counts retroactively - as far as I can tell, post counts exist to show progress on the Shard and how active a member is, and if tons of posts get removed it's counterproductive to that purpose. Maybe it was intended for something else, though. *shrugs* Thanks for taking the time to explain to us commoners. Glad it worked out. ...Now, I was going to post that yesterday, but the Internet failed... AUGH MATH NOOO
  19. Yeah, the Shard is awesome. I'd volunteer to talk to your parents through a PM or something, but I worry that they might then classify me or, worse, all Sharders as bad influences. Or that they'd get mad at you for sharing your discomfort. Though if you're willing to risk that, I still would.
  20. "Seattle does have a lot of us," I said absently.
