    Maybe ask them to stop? Religion should always be your choice. Forcing someone to believe in or do something they don't want to is wrong.

    About that, is there any chance you have what you said in Discord on hand? I can't access it right now and nobody's posted it in here. Stick - what's up? I read the Council thread, but I'm still a little confused. I guess that's what I get for abandoning TLT in the olden days...

    I stopped walking for only a heartbeat before moving on. "Nah, my parents passed away years ago. Joy showed up..." When I started doing increasingly reckless things to cope. "...later. I said some special words and that was it." I looked at Joy, bobbing along behind us, subdued. "She chose to bond with me."

    *hugs Jay* You are definitely not the stereotype, I agree. I've had problems with my religion too (Mormon, right?) and I just talked to my parents about it. If it's the beliefs, then I wish you the best of luck in figuring out what's right for you; if it's the practices, maybe try taking a break from them if they let you, see how that goes.

    So, I do this thing for some of the roleplays I'm in where I copy-paste the writing - though not the chat - then edit all the grammar and continuity in a Google Doc. I'm currently doing this with an RP called Volume One: The Beginning, which has over 270 pages of content already, most of which is unedited. Maybe a fourth of that is edited material. I had a control-A accident and almost permanently lost every word. Weeks and weeks of work, down the drain, forced to redo it all. You wouldn't be able to believe the stress. I about died. Even when I clicked the back arrow, Google gave me a pop-up saying it was having a hard time saving so much so fast and it was temporarily suspending editing abilities. It was like that for like half an hour. It just finished saving, and everything is safe. I feel giddy. Don't take anything for granted, kids. Holy crepes.

    I grinned. "Storms, yes. That'd be awesome." After scanning the immediate area, I pounced on a couple rocks nearby and hurled them at the wall one by one.

    As we neared the wall, I broke into a run, slowing a minute later as I tested the light with one finger.

    "Wow, that sounds a lot like spren. Joy can't talk, but some other varieties can," I said, surprised. Going where she indicated, I sidestepped another traveler and added, "So wait, you can produce something called an Aon that makes walls of light, and these seons have Aons inside of them? Do you make them too?"

    "A what?" My eyebrows went up. "I don't know what a 'seon' is, but Joy's not one. We call them spren."

    I shrugged. "Technically, yeah, though at the moment I can't do too much. We have to swear oaths to be able to do stuff." I tapped Joy as she went to dart past me, knocking her off-course. "This little ball of light is like...a personal companion, or something. The bond between us gives me power." I smiled at her as she gave off a quick pulse of annoyance and zipped past again.
