    YES, marshmallows! Salad, you amazing person! And yep, yep. As for plots, there are a few going on right now, it would depend on whether you were in a guild or not/just arrived in the Alleyverse/other backstory details as to which would be easiest for you to get into. You also don’t have to directly start in a plot - there are places where you could just walk in and interact with other characters.

    Okay guys, picture a (serious) magic system based around breaking the fourth wall in various ways. The main idea in my head is someone who can read minds by seeing thought bubbles over peoples’ heads. Also someone who can hear the narrator and is therefore clairvoyant. 

    “Hey, why do you keep staring above my head while we’re talking?” 

    “Um, what? I wasn’t - was I doing that? Er, sorry.” They weren’t about to tell them that they’d been reading their thoughts as they appeared. 

    “YOU’RE READING MY THOUGHTS?” 

    “WAIT HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT” 

    I literally do not even have personalities for this pair, and this one offhand interaction is making me ship them help

    Glad to help! And I'd recommend joining - it definitely is fun. While the world itself is larger, you often only have to pay attention to a couple IC threads at the most. And if you ever need help or get confused, there's a subforum full of people who are happy to answer any questions you might have. I'm trying to recruit you, but don't feel pressured THAT IS AWESOME, I AGREE

    He caught her by the wrist and she tried to tug away, but failed. Her head was pounding as her arm went slack. Deteca was pretty sure she was about to black out when she heard someone yell, "Stab him in the face!" What? she thought blearily. Thinking was hard and slow through the crushing feeling of no oxygen. Her grip loosened on a jagged piece of metal. After a second that encompassed an hour, she remembered what it was. The piece from the gun that Wes had turned into a knife. Her hold on consciousness slipping, she brought it straight up and - with most of her remaining strength - went for a deep slash to his throat.
