  12. What do you do with the spambots? bleed them out until the spurt some cosmic fact? Let me pick holes in your press-release: If you so adamantly claim that you do not use the new members, where have 90% of them gone Why are spambots more potent than the new members, who would at least give you some human traits to steal ITS A CONSPIRACY I TELL YEEEEE And I am safe, for I am an the admin with all the Brass spikes not that they do any good; Somehow my memory is so bad it corrupts metal minds XD
  13. You should still watch out for them though; the staff have a tendency to want MORE spikes ¬.¬ Hey there Keeper, how you keepin?

  18. Denth was one of the Five Scholars along with Vasher, Arsteel, Yesteel, and Shashara. Evidently being a returned is more complex than we yet know, being that the Iridescent Tones probably indoctrinated the whole no-kids thing. Vo (the First) obviously had kids, and they taught that the God Kings (Susebron included) could have kids, so what's stopping all the others from having kids? Maybe its that female returned cannot support childbirth, they might steal the foetus' Breath accidentally or something? Vasher obviously wanted Susebron to have them, maybe he trusts Susebron and Siri and he could possibly blackmail them into behaving with Vivenna if needs be.
  19. Wooooo, thanks for that :D lol

  20. no worries,

  21. I wonder how long a TLR style Compounder could last, and if a Shard could exempt someone from those kinds of things (aka, Ironeyes in the far future). How effective would duralium Sliding be as a stasis method? especially combined with the gold Compounders? And its fairly obvious that Shard's change very slowly, and change hand very rarely. Ati and Leras probably stuck around on Scadrial for uncounted millennia before even bringing humanity to be, and then another large number of cycles of the Wells before Rashek's time. It's unlikely that Odium has changed hands, and even though Honor died, there hasnt been any more newer holders (other than Jezrien possibly) in the last 4500 years. The Letter writer knew Aona and Skai personally, and is probably quite hard to get to know them without being around prior to their ascension, and thats pretty hard to be at if Shards change hands frequently. 'Holders are likely to last into geographical if not cosmological time scales. Awesome notes though thanks a lot
  22. I would think that the Heralds have been around since the Tranqualine Halls, which sound pretty nifty. Then they got thrown out, the Oathpact was made with 10 'heroes' (the Heralds), the majority of the population probably died in that desolation or in the poor living conditions due to having to rebuild their whole society on a new planet. Then, after uncounted Desolations, their technology is at the level we see today. I doubt the Heralds have much time to impart much knowledge except war-tech. They evidently die frequently in the Desolations, and are otherwise taken back relatively quickly after the end of one. The Oathpact may also prevent sharing of knowledge other than what is necessary for survival. It may also be that after the first few desolations, with them actively trying to impart their knowledge on the pre-Desolation societies, and the results being that even more destruction happen somehow, they decide not to to save people or something. Or even that they have forgotten how stuff works other than their deep memories of a better time, cause they're getting tortured by Odium and then thrown into a Desolation every now an again.
  23. might be worth changing the guest/new-user permissions on the wiki to disallow the creation of new pages. Would cut right back the amount of spam we get I think :D

  24. It's evident that in Wax's time, the rails are more prevalent. Also, due to their 'primitive' engineering level, trains need long straights, slow curves, and shallow inclines else the trains would be unable to stay on the tracks or go anywhere. A preliminary first render of the Elendel map traced. The many millions of roads/streets/etc will be added, as will more detailed versions of the quay's and railyards. I'll also be fixing up any nasty, noticeably bad, rail and road joins. Of course, if anyone wants any of this stuff, I can give you it as an svg rather than that badly-compressed hunk of awful .gif XD.
