  1. OK, so I know this has probably been asked before, but how are the books correlated to each other chronologically? I particularly want to know, when does the Wax and Wayne series take place in comparison to the other books?

  2. I was wondering, do the surges always present themselves the same in each order of knight? For example, Dustbringers can use the surge of division to burn carvings. Would the Skbreakers, who also have the surge of division, use it the same way, or would it be different?

  3. Well here it is than. Also, I would like to join honor, not void.

    Name: Kain

Investure: Knight Radiant of the Skybreakers order

    Weapons: Spren, two obsidian daggers

Appearance: About 5'9', black hair, light blue eyes

    Relatives: None still alive

Backstory: The son of a minor light eyes, Kain's parents died in the camps where the parshendi were keeping the humans. Kain was able to escape the camps, and soon afterward bonded with a spren.  Seeing as he had knowhere to go, he traveled from village to village. During his travels, he met a strange old man whom knew about spren. The man told him about the cosmere and world hopping. Determined to get away from his grief, Kain traveled from world to world delivering justice, as he hoped to do to the parshendi when powerful enough. He swore three of the five ideals of a sky breaker during his time traveling the cosmere.

  4. First of all, shalebark has no effect on the price of tallew in Azir. That's funny though. I wonder how many people have spent time trying to figure it out. I'd have to say probably Roshar. I'd rather read books, but my favorite movie is probably The Princess Bride. Shardic intent is a word that's to big for me to understand. I'd probably want to take a chasmfiend as my pet. If I was fighting the hedgehog army you mentioned, I'd probably want Jasnah fighting with me. Pepsi. Stick-wielding sand creatures? Probably Lift. Yes, olives. Hope that answeres your questions @Nathrangking .

The duel will be on a separate thread with this in its title. You can post it here or on the rules of warfare and I'll approve it. Just the more investiture you have the bigger the weakness needs to be.

Will each duel have their own thread, or will it be one big one, only one matchup fighting at a time?

  6. Here's my RP character.

Hope this works okay. If not just tell me.

Also, what is the llamian empire?

Let me start by answering this. The llamian empire was created when a family line of the mistborn llamas was banished for treason against the king. They slowly built there empire in South America. It was then that they met their mortal enemies, the alpacas. The alpacas also hated the llamas, but each people group was to weak at the time to actually start a war with each other. That ended in 1777. A full out war ensued, each people making new allies (llamas allied with the pugs, while alpacas allied with turtles). During this time, the llamians decided to take drastic measures and started using hemalurgy. The alpacas quickly did the same. There was so much violence in the end that they grudgingly decided to decree a peace treaty. Sadly, there were evil llamas who decide that they wanted the alpacas dead. They assassinated the current king of llamia and took the throne through force. They than started a cold war with the alpacas, constantly threatening them into submission. Even now, the tyrant llamas still rule, but there is hope. A rebellion has arisen during the midst of the struggles and are doing everything they can to dethrone the vile llamas of today. Hope that answered your question, @The Potato:D

What is the llamians empires official thoughts on hemalurgy? And are they at all related to mistborn llamas?

@MacThorstenson , llamians don't hate hemalurgy, but they only use it in extreme cases (such as the war of 1777). And yes, the empire was founded by a family branch of the mistborn llamas.

  9. What format will be used for this first Tournament? Will it be a 1v1 duel, each guild having a representative? Also, will magical items, such as premade soulstamps or soulcasters be allowed?

  10. Well, the history of llamian empire is very well hidden, as they had technology far above their time (think Wakanda if you know what that is). They don't keep their history in books, they put it on hard drives so that it can be terminated if any outsider gets their hands on it. The only way to actually learn their history is to ask a llama. Llamas today act like stupid creatures as part of their plan to overthrow the known world. There is a Llama rebellion though, who believe that the ruling government of llamas is evil. I'd talk to them if you'd like to know more about their history.

  11. OK everyone, so I decided to open a discussion about the weird things that your pet does. For example, whenever I scratch my cat's stomach(he lets me, which is weird enough) he rolls around deliriously with joy. This is a discussion where you can ask, Hey, is that thing my pet doing normal? Excited(sort of) to see the weird things your pet does.

If shalebark grows in a forest and no one sees it, how much does tallew cost in Azir?

Well, I've never specifically researched Azir, but it would stay the same as it normally was, as shalebark has no effect on the pricing of tallew whatsoever.

When life gives you lemons, what is best to make with them?  Lemonade?  Sorbet?  A great marketing strategy for selling them?  A deep sense of suspicion since you know there's no such thing as a free lunch?  A questionable palette for considering lemons as a lunch item?

The simple answer is make some sort of weapon out of the lemons. The long answer is

“I’ve been thinking. When life gives you lemons? Don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your darned lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give me lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s going to burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m going to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!” -Cave Johnson.
