They could duck into a random warehouse and meet Nicroburst. Or they could go into the black forcefield. The former might actually be a good way to get Nicroburst involved in the story. EDIT: 600th post!

Yeah, I was just making sure you didn't forget her. Snails. Also, Nicroburst and Epic X are very reactionary, so Jacklyn will be my primary character until other Epics are involved. EDIT: You guys are all so good at RP. When I wrote mine I thought it was okay but yours are all so much better...

Jacklyn finally arrived at Edmonton. She wore a cloak which concealed her face and figure. Some people gave her strange looks, for wearing a cloak like that, but most assumed she was either a Minor Epic or a criminal, and so let her pass. She was in fact a Minor Epic, but she wasn’t sure if her ability was a blessing or a curse. She shouldered her backpack and stepped up to one of the checkpoints into the city. Most of Edmonton was wrapped in some sort of distortion, but this area seemed especially distorted. Jacklyn had heard some others talking about the “Epic Epic” that controlled it. She inhaled deeply (breath hitching dramatically of course) and started through the checkpoint. [OOC: @Drake Marshall (she is entering Epoch's territory if that isn't obvious).]

Oh, sorry. I half-figured that would happen. EDIT: Also, Jacklyn is not in your summary. Is that because the reckoners don't know about her? Initially, she doesn't look like an Epic necessarily, just someone REALLY attractive. Her real power is in her slow intensifying of relationships with others, which is near impossible to detect if looking at only a few people. Only if you notice that she has intense relationships with a surprising amount of people does her power start to reveal itself. @Comatose

Or maybe it's a random teleport that only functions on others. Or maybe Titan got sent forward in time. Fits with the theme, after all.

But then if you voted for someone, you would be able to see who it affected. And first cycle, someone would propose everyone votes for themself to determine who it affects, and if no one did, there would be no way of reliably lynching someone. It would work better if it didn't count votes. EDIT: Imagine this mechanic in a blackout game... -

Sure. She can destroy things when it's raining.

Maybe she can only destroy things that are above a certain size. Or at night. Or when it's raining, and the dreamstorm counts.
