The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
The Young Pyromancer replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Probably not. I mean, keeping a list of nameless things is really hard. -

Khriss's error???
The Young Pyromancer replied to The Young Pyromancer's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yes, and people thought the reason it was coming to life is that it was becoming a Shard. -
The Young Pyromancer [PENDING REVIEW] Theoretically, if Sel became a Shard...the biggest limiter on Shards is the Vessel's mind, would that be more limiting or less limiting? Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW] If the Dor were itself to become a Shard combining Devotion and Dominion, and were to pick up a Vessel? Because they're still Shards, they just don't have a Vessel. The Young Pyromancer [PENDING REVIEW] So the land couldn't be Vessel? Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW] The land itself? Of Arelon or of...? The Young Pyromancer [PENDING REVIEW] Of Sel. Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW] The land of Sel would not count as a Vessel. You would say in terminology right now that Dominion and Devotion do not have Vessels in the same way that other Shards do. Skyward Seattle signing (Nov. 10, 2018) Does this mean that the land of Sel isn't actually becoming sentient after all? Or, if it is, why? The foremost theory was that Sel itself was slowly becoming a Vessel, but we now have evidence that this is incorrect! Thoughts?

The best possibility I can think of is that Survival is into survival of the fittest, but that is a lot like Cultivation.

Oh my gosh! I was just thinking the same thing! However, all I had as evidence was a (confusing)WOB about how the Cosmere is part of a larger universe, and I thought that, though the Reckoners books may not be directly Cosmere, it makes a lot of sense for Reckoners to be part of the same wider universe, and for Calamity to be a Aldonalsium equivalent instead of a Shard one, and to have faked his death after the sixteen used the weapon, logic, to convince him to go away, which would then fit in to the fact that some of Calamity's siblings abandoned their duties! However, this idea makes so much more sense!

I think the point of that was that either path that Zane took would lead to his death, because Vin would see that choice and then make the other move to counter it. Back to the thread topic, Bands of mourning: Harmony: You must choose, return to your world, or move on to eternal paradise. Wax: So long, suckeeeeeers!

Thoughts on a Magic System?
The Young Pyromancer replied to SandersonFanderson's topic in Creator's Corner
Maybe as a youth people are trained however they want, whether specializing in one area or spending a little bit of time in all of them, and at a certain age, their strengths ‘lock in’.- 10 replies

Magic: The Gathering, custom cards.
The Young Pyromancer replied to Embrisk's topic in Entertainment Discussion
The Ajani is pretty busted. -
Water is scary. It can choke people to kill them very quickly, and in a much less detectable way than most of the others. It can also provide walls like earth, as well as heal any injuries. Plus, guess what the majority of your body is made of?

The Art of Game Creation
The Young Pyromancer replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think insanity isn't really meant to be a threat unless you stay up at night. Which is fine, as the choice of whether to stay up or not seems like one of the main strategy points in this game. -
The Art of Game Creation
The Young Pyromancer replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I don't know, but the REAL thing this change does is play into suspicion. The village would want to have as many people signalling as possible, but the killer could have said they weren't signalling and actually signal, messing up the wincon, or kill the people who are signalling. I would suggest one or two. -

I don't like this idea. Maybe instead if X or more people signal for 5 cycles all at the same time, it doesn't work? Because the mainland people think that if there's multiple, it must be a fluke??? -

@Karger General rule of thumb: a lot of the questions in this thread have theories or implications that point toward answers. But the answer is not confirmed. Hence they are in here. -

It's fine. I'll find a link and post it here. You really should start a thread in the introductory section. The people there are very good at explaining things -
