LED light strips flickered to life around the shop. "If you want a job, sorry. This store is shutting down soon. Dwig, he's my brother, is liquidating most of his assets so he can start a new company."

    Rick, still on the roof, watched the battle with intrest. His plan was all but complete, all of the pieces were in place. Now came the last step, the most dangerous step. He might not survive this. He laughed to himself "I'm going to get vaporized either way." Rick leaned back and checked his watch. Soon, the outcome would be decided.

    Read MB Era 1 on my dad's suggestion. Waited a year, then read Alloy of Law. Waited another year, then read the rest of Era 2. Waited (you guessed it) another year, then read Stormligt, Warbreaker and Elantris.

    People (Like my dad) have read the series tons of times, and each time, they come up with more theories. I'll see if I can dig up my theories from when I first read the series.

    About the power armor, it's designed to stop up to a .50 caliber round to the chest or torso, and lower calibers and the limbs and helmet. It can dissipate mid to lower power laser and plasma blasts. It increases his strength a bit, mostly foscused on the legs so he can Steeljump farther without being hurt. Also blocks most conventional blades, not Shardblades or other Shardweapons. Trying to think of a good weakness. Would severe fear of water work?

    The shop was empty, the owner hadn't opened it in a few months. The shelves were covered with dust, the items lay untouched on them. Upstairs, in her room, Ciera heard the shop door open. She jumped up, pulled her hair back into its usual tail and ran downstairs. She jumped into the back room of the store and walked out behind the counter. "Who's there?" she asked "We're closed right now."
