  1. Doc was lost in thought when he heard someone call his name. He jumped up, mentally rewinding to when he heard the doorbell ring. He quickly walked into the kitchen, noting the girl he didn't know. "What's up?"
  2. I support both ammendments to rule 15. I would also like to introduce the Self Punishment Act. If a player breaks a rule, they will be able to decide what their punishment is. And the Fair Play Act. If a player cannot obey a rule for 'reasons' then they receive no punishment. (Note that none of the current rules have any punishment involved but whatever)
  3. I do support that. And they're called Eggs.
  4. I would like to introduce the three laws of Dapper. First Law of Dapper: Points are to be hereafter refered to as Eggs. Second Law of Dapper: Every ten Eggs you get your Coolness Level goes up by one. Third Law of Dapper: Each Coolness Level make you cooler.
  5. I propose that the Winning Rule be ammended so that the authors of this and the next two posts directly after it be the winners. I support this ammendment.
  6. "Not good." Doc muttered.
  7. Doc was already eating a garlic knot when Leona arrived. "Take what you want." he grabbed a piece of a spicy meat pizza and took a bite.
  8. The Weeping is every year, alternating between a highstorm or a day of sun every year in the exact center of the Weeping.
  9. Doc watched the news for a bit longer, then got up and headed for his study. A minute later, the doorbell rang and he hopped up to answer it. Two very confused pizza guys stood there. They appeared to have come at thes same time. Well, they would both win a prize, then. He paid them both and gave each atip before taking the pizzas and going into the living room. He took a deep breath, bracing himself, before yelling "Pizza's here!"
  10. "I don't know... this is important, I think." she sighed. The Alleycity needed to be rebuilt, and Harmony knew the government wouldn't get to it anytime soon. The Forge was the only group that had made progress. The union talked big but hadn't actually done anything as of yet. But perhaps it could. She removed a small aluminum plate from her pocket and handed it to Galvris, "Give this to your friends. Tell them to call the number on it. Dwig probably doesn't have anything better to do."
  11. "Nah. I've been meaning to watch the next season of MST3K for the last few weeks. Bu, we should all vote and see where we end up."
  12. Doc called two pizza places and placed diffrent orders to each. Then he set two timers running and returned to the living room, where Rob was watching the news. He plopped down in his favorite chair and took his phone out. It was a few years ahead of what the phone companies were producing now, especially the battery and communications equipment. He fiddled with it for a second, accessing the context regognition program linked to the tv. He searched for 'Attack, East Seattle, Missing persons, weather disturbances' within the last three hours. A small number of results came up, and he played them in a rotation. Most were either live or had been broadcasgt recently. "Yes, we really do."
  13. Killen walked into his squad's barrack, grabbed his spear, and marched out. He met up with the rest of his squad at the gaurd station and they marched to the lifts. As they walked, Jie gave out orders. "Looks like the bridgemen need some help with gaurd duty. Nothing important, just protecting the Azish bureaucrats. Word from the higher ups is the highprince wants them to feel protected, so they'd stay here." Killien nodded, a hint of a smile on his face, as they rode the lift to the level where the Azish lawmakers were working. "What are you smiling about?" the odd spren asked from his shoulder. The voice seemed more feminine than before. "Well," he said quietly, "Two things. One, gaurd duty. I enjoy not being at the front of a battle once in a while. Secondly,I may get the chance to make fun of some high strung Azish scholars." "Ah." she said. She remained silent until after he had settled in at his post in the corner, watching. "What's your name?" she asked "Killien. And yours?" "Um..." he looked at her. Her shape had changed. She now appeared as a pretty ypung woman wearing some kind of uniform. "Call me Ji." she said finally. Oddly, she wore the clothing well, as if she were a solider.
  14. Doc walked into the kichen, smiling. He had anaged to wipe off some of the blood, but there was still a bit on his shirt. Quite a few of the Radiants were here, including the new guy. "So. I'm gonna order pizza. Feel free to eat whatever. You can order takeout, too."
  15. Killien stared out over the clouds. Beimg able to see over the clouds was sobering. It gave him a great sense of power to look out over the clouds, as few men had done, but the sheer vastness of the unbroken cloudscape made him feel small. This fortress, as big as it was, was the only outpost in an empty world. "Since when have I become so philosophical?" he murmered to himself "Perhaps," a soft voice whispered, "in light of everything that has happened as of late, you have changed." the whispering came from a small figure. It seemed to be carved from stone, but it was cracked. The cracks glowed with an amber light from within. And it could move and talk, which it did. A lot. "I wish you would stop bothering me." Killien groaned, "I'm just a solider. Find someone else. Someone like the bridgeman." "You're the one I've been looking for. Something about you..." "Whatever. I'm one duty in fifteen minutes." Killien spun and marched back into Urithru.
  16. It was obvious this guy was crazy. He somehow thought that he had come from out of system, from halfway across the galaxy. Did he think he had some kind of FTL drive? "What the hell is wrong with you? No one's come from out of the system since Corislain was built!"
  17. Doc smiled at the kid "Well, " he said softly, "they're the youngest Radiants in the city. Or on the west coast for that matter. I found them, took them in." He held out his hand "Dr. James Deovan. Everyone calls me Doc."
  18. "Thank you." she walked through the door, waving for her Warders to follow.
  19. Ciera walked up to the counter and knocked on it, her Well jingling. "I'm here for the meeting. I'm from the Ghostbloods."
  20. No problems. Looks good.
  21. Doc scatched at the stubble on his face thoughtfully. "It's Voidlight. The Voidbringers use it in the same way we use Stormlight. It's called Voidbinding. They love Voids. One day I'll figure out why."
