Well...that happened. I’m shattered that my friend Drake was stained. I should’ve seen it in out PM! Gaea! I trusted you! Why did you kill me? We’re both corrupt, couldn’t you have let a brother side by? Joe, thank you for running my first eliminator game and one of the best games I’ve played. I’m sorry about your spreadsheet and writeup troubles. I hope that I’ll be able to play more SE this year but with school starting I have no idea what will happen. Thank you! You did a great job winning too! Thanks! It was my first Elim game. But the only reason I wasn’t on your radar was because I wasn’t active Still, “last of the eliminators” is a pretty good title.
-
Heyo! I’m sorry I wasn’t active last cycle! IRL school stuff was happening. So! It leeks like we have a total of 3 eliminators lynched and probably at least one stabbed. Of course the Lynchings are inaccurate but it’s a good baseline. So unless we are super unlucky there should only be one left! So! I have decided now is the time for my first vote! Butt Ad Venture! why are you so inactive? Why have you never voted? *mumbles and glass related puns* Ok! Sounds good! Butt Ad Venture But seriously, I’m never around for rollover, that when most voting matters. I don’t want to leave a vote hanging around.

Just know that I love the MLK Jr. quote. Definitely one to remember. Well, my emotional fortitude has been shattered by your rude comments. Puns! Ha ha! Really? What’s wrong with puns? Everyone knows that empathy and trust are needed to create a window of perspective into the life of another. Well, we could just frisk everyone with a warrant then pass them back their items. Then everyone’s items are open and there is no need to claim. The problem with that plan is everything, it would be easy for anyone to lie about a read or for someone to just not pass back an item. Sure, in other games where their are convenient role scans it would be much more feasible, but because the warrant steals items we need to openly claim. And chance of getting all the boxings from the corrupt is just as impactful as the chance of controlling all the daggers. Just some food for thought.

"Ahem...Senator Diez (@Elandera)? It would be much more difficult for one such as yourself to get very far in life with out transparency. I agree, finding the corrupt senators is imperative and quite a fragile topic. Which is why it would be a pane to have to do this on your own. Now I believe that one in a glass house shouldn't throw stones so I was open about receiving Simuljustusetpeccator, the warrant. As it's namesake suggests, all people are just and right in their own view. I understand that you believe in a secretive, protective aura of suspense where we keep our secrets to ourselves. The Warrant's name then says that, from a different perspective, you could be considered wrong and a sinner Elim. I understand that the only way we can defeat the Corrupt is by banding together and being honest. Without the ability to privately share secrets trust has become all the more important, a government scared to make the smallest change is no government at all. I do not wish to change your opinions like a mirror reverses words, I just believe that we must fuse together to bring a new era of hope to the trodden down people of the city. I hope my argument has come across to you crystal glass clear." (Credit to @DrakeMarshmallow for some glass puns.)
-
This longer cycle is perfect for me! I might actually be around for rollover! Fifth probably used the Warrant on me, because I have one now. I didn't have any items so if he used it on me, he didn't get anything. I have my plans for using it tonight, but because I'll be around for roll over to change my actions I can be open to other options.
-
Um...Joe? It looks like no ones alive again. I don’t want to be dead. @A Joe in the Bush Alv flipped Elim, with seven votes on himself that means 35% chance he was villager. So I’m comfortable saying he was evil. Ok, I know this is going to sound hypocritical, but it’s time to give up on a governor. It’s too hard to make one person have majority votes and without a governor vote reveal in the write up we can’t know if there was vote manipulation. So, even if I still want some power for once really bad, to continue going for it just make it harder to find eliminators.

Well that turnover was pane-ful to read. A lot happened in 7 hours. “Senator Ninoirim, I agree that it is important to elect a governor who is firm in his believes and has the ideals of the Lord Mistborn. Therefore, I strongly suggest to my fellow senators to not vote for this man, he does not follow our founders teachings. He works for his own bank account, not the will of our citizens. Senator Ninoirim is a double faced man who would backstab anyone here fo candidacy. I am a man who is clear with what he wants, I do not manipulate you because in my opinion, trust is stronger then wealth. Now I know that some of you have your doubts, that I have not contributed, have not pushed for a lynch. But is it right to condemn a man for sleeping early to ease his weary bones? Is it right to condemn a man because he is honest? Senator, if a governor must be chosen it will be me, but this spat must not prevent us from locking up the corrupt senators. People! Make the honest choice! Make the right choice! Vote for Butt Ad Venture! Let me show my competence by giving me a chance!

"Sir," Gaius said flatly, "you grabbed me and pulled me into a secluded corner where no one could see what was going on. Rumors and conspiracies have been started by less." When Senator Alron entered the conversation he smiled, "And not all would side with you...would they?" As Niornim stalked away Gaius called to him, "And a very good day to you sir!" Fura, watch out! You're almost to 1,000 posts!
-
"Senator Ninorim, am I right?" Smiling Gaius continued, "Imagine the headlines if the broadsheets said that you assaulted an old man just to become Governor. My, my...if something like that was to get out your reputation would be...dare I say...ruined!" Strolling back into the main room he said, "Now I want that to happen just as much as you do, so perhaps we can both win, if you support me in my bid to become governor then you can keep your pristine reputation and I will become governor! Everyone wins, except the nasty corrupts" The fool thinks that because I'm old and not a nobleman I can be pushed around like that...Harmony. I'll show him who can be the better Governor!
-
How did I not see that! "Ah! Senator...senator... *thinking noises* ..Sheev! My friend!" Walking over to Sheev he says, "Now I know what you are thinking, 'Why would I vote for an overly trusting, inexperienced..'" Wrapping his arm over Sheev's shoulders he quickly whispers, "..easily bribe-able.." Coughing to cover up the whisper he finishes, "..and to be honest, nearly dead man?" Moving back to the center of the room, after giving Senator Sheev an informational pamphlet on the importance of windows in the Senate building of course, he announces "I am not politically savvy, true. But I have something that no one else here has...honesty. No I don't mean to offend any of you fine gentlemen and gentlewoman, but...some people here could better be compared to broken glass. Sharp, unhelpful, broken. My lack of skill makes me the perfect leader in this time of turmoil, I have no idea what to do! So a fresh perspective of the people is what I can offer. And that perspective will get the corrupt senators locked up where they belong."
-
Typing furiously Senator Gaius finished the last page of his 34 page essay on the importance of windows in the senate building. Pulling it out of the typewriter he bound the stack together and rushed down the hall to the conference room. Now is my chance. Now I will fulfill my promise. It was strange how Gaius got elected, he could barely see, his breathing was worsening, and he was very trusting. He didn’t even have any experience in politics! He was a interior designer! It was one big misunderstanding. At a political rally he had promised to make lasting changes in the senate, he meant to the building. Opening up the conference room door he saw Cinco being dragged away by the Constables. Shaking his head he forged onwards, determined to propose his window plan to...the...governor. Oops. No one could put any government construction plans into action without it first being proposed to the governor. I guess that only means one thing... Moving to the center of the room Gaius cleared his throat and began talking, “Counclmen! Councilwoman! Lend me your ears! Now is not a time for weak leadership, the longer we wait to elect a new governor the less the people trust our judgment. If we do not root out the corruption they will have all of our heads! Therefore, I propose myself, Butt Ad Venture as our new governor. It is true that I am old, practically blind, and on the verge of death. But I have great wisdom! I propose myself not out of greed, but out of necessity. My plan must be put to action if we are to avoid political death! It is true I am easily manipulated, but it’s as my father always said, ‘a puppet leader is better then no leader at all’” Wiping his eyes at the mention of his father Gaius continued. “As a close friend of the now arrested Joe, I promise that if I am elected the corrupt senators who seek for our ruination will be stopped.” And I will finally make a meaningful change in the senate. My windows will be the best in all of Elendel.

Gaius looked at the squabbling children... *Ahem* Senators. Fools, all of us. Leaving the conference room he strolled down the halls to his office. Pulling out a notepad from his desk drawer he scribbled down his thoughts. One: Senator Palpatune is willing to ruin another trusted Senator's reputation just for the name of a knife. Two: A trusted member of the constabulary had been locked up. Because untrustworthy men had been pushing around their money. Three: I'm not Governor. I really wanted to be Governor... If I die the windows will never be installed! @Snipexe, I think the name of a dagger is no proof of someones guilt. It could easily be anyone's. And...well, I won't vote on you because I trust you, you voted for me to become Governor. But...what if you are doing the framing. We have no proof of the dagger's name. You could easily be trying to get us to mislynch another villager. I'm not comfortable with such a easy way for vote manipulation. @A Joe in the Bush, Is it possible for someone to bribe themselves so they could send in a secret vote? If so that could explain some of the voting shenanigans.
-
Hi, I won’t be active today unfortunately just checking in to see where things are. @Snipexe Thanks for the endorsement, I guess I’ll see what happens Butt Ad Venture. But you do know how bad at SE I am, right? I think that a player lynch would be a good start especially if we only make one vote, that way we have the smallest chance of a mistaken alignment. But I’m not willing to vote off a Constable, especially D1, it doesn’t seem worth it. And there is no real evidence, just gut reads.
