Vote in the next Bondsmith election!
Invocation replied to King Aragorn of Gondor's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don't think Hesina would work very well. She might work for a different order, but I don't think she's Bondsmith material. Lirin has the same problem. He might make a decent Windrunner or Edgedancer, but not so much a Bondsmith. I think Navani is probably the best bet, which would also help her work in concert with Dalinar. -

If she does end up a Bondsmith, it probably won't happen until her POV book in the latter half. -

Your arrow wizzes by your target's neck, having dropped slightly and gone slightly off course as well. Your knife knicks the side of Rashek's neck, drawing blood but nothing fatal, and goes sailing past, your accuracy spoiled by the tense situation. In one swift stroke, you slice Ene's head from her shoulders, burning through the last of your strength to do so.

I would be impressed if Starsight lasted you a month. State of the Sanderson is going to be great, though. We are very off-topic. Better cut this short before the mods get onto us. You can PM me if you want to keep talking. -

Absolutely. I console myself with the fact that I've been waiting longer for W&W4 and that at least SA4's wait is roughly halfway done, if things stay on their current path. -

That's probably what we'll see. I'm gonna put the rest of this in a spoiler box for the people who don't want to see it. -
Wow, it's NaNo time again already? Wild.

Indeed. (We'll probably get more in SA4. There's a reason we haven't heard from Rlain in a little bit, and Sandman hints that it's important. We'll see him again.) -

It's been a theory floating around as a way to help unify the two races, especially since now we full-on know that Nahel bonds with singers are possible and we Rlain deserves something going right in his life. -
As Kazil was desperately looking around for something to distract himself from the shame of actually having to pretend to be the wise one for once, he spied a familiar face walking down a side alley. No way...it can't be him. But what if it is? It can't be. But what if...? Screw it. I'm going for it. "You're going to have to keep up with me moving at speed really quickly, Clare. I think I may have just spied a way to help at least one of us. If you can't keep up, come back here. I'll do my best to find you." There's no way there were two Pahn Khals in the city with that beard style. No way, even in T'Telir, that those two things could line up. It had to be him. Him. Him, the cursed "agent" who stole Kazil's Breath. Here was a chance. He would not throw this shot away. He tensed his legs, spied his chance at an opening in the crowd, and shot off after the man down the alley. He would catch him. He chased the man who had given his name as Agenti for what seemed like an hour, not caring if his little companion kept up, dodging through crowd after crowd, at one point jumping over a horse, and at another sliding under a carriage, fraying his pants on the cobblestones. And yet he never caught the Pahn Khal man he was chasing. By the time he accepted that he'd truly lost the man, they were near the heart of the city, in a food square, vendors to one side and restaurants around. In that moment, rage pulsing and running fever up, he cast all thoughts of how he would look from his head and began to shout. "Has anyone seen a Pahn Khal man? With a strange beard? Anyone? Please!" @ [everyone, because I think we're all in the same place now.]

"Ah, you're plenty cool, little one. All you need to be cool is to keep on doing what you like best, you know? Everything can rot. It's what makes you happy that matters." I'm really bad at motivational speeches. Cliche and probably ineffectual at the same time has to be some kind of record. Kazil grimaced in spite of himself.

Rlain for Sibling, Navani for Nightwatcher. It seems to fit. The Sibling is somewhat of an outsider, from what we've been hinted at and from how the past Radiants talk about them, and Rlain can relate to that. Navani would fit with the Nightwatcher because of her whole building stuff thing, from which both good and bad stems. At least those are my thoughts. Also, I'm still in full favor of Rlain getting that Metaphysical Bread. -
"Possibly." That's not the way to talk to kids, Kazil. Yeah well how was he supposed to know how to talk to kids? He was a kid! "Or maybe just really boring. This way, we're neither of those things, so I'd say we got the best option."
-
"Ah. No shame in that. Something near to that happened to me too." I thought I had that pinned. He mentally shrugged. Guess you can never guess based on first impressions, huh? "Ah, well. It could have been worse for the both of us, yes?"
-
"So." Kazil felt awkward bringing this up. He'd gathered that it could be a somewhat unpleasant question to ask, but he was very curious. Then again she was a Tonist, so she probably gave it to their gods. "What happened to your Breath?"
-
"You say that like you think I won't," Okame said, grinning. "I absolutely will." To prove his point, he reached out and tore a chunk off, stuffing it in his mouth. He chewed for a couple seconds and swallowed. "Not bad. Could make a decent tea, or a good sauce. Might take some more."
-
"I wonder if it tastes good," Okame said, absentmindedly. He was too busy appreciating the pulsing lightshow to form anything more coherent than that.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work. It's essentially a body (unless we're talking about one of the Phantoms). Sure, they might have ichor-alcohol instead of blood, but I don't think that would get in the way of a kandra becoming one.
