He wouldn't be on the same Bondsmith path as Dalinar anyway. Dalinar is Unity, and that comes from the amount of Honor he's bonded to with the Stormfather. That bond is staying until Dalinar is dead or reneges. Taravangian, while he might be a Bondsmith (I doubt it), won't be hearing Unite them in the same way Gavilar and Dalinar were.

The Unite them from the Taravangian part was him remembering what Gavilar was talking about in the visions, since Gavilar was also on the Bondsmith path before he died got Szeth'd. The Death Rattles are hard to decipher exact meanings from, but once the time comes, we will know what it was talking about.

The initial stormwalls of the highstorms throw boulders, but the further away from the leading stormwall and further to the other edge of the continent you get the less it does stuff like that.- 43 replies

It's only really because of her and Jasnah that it counts in the first place. Too OP if they could just hop in there.
-
Leaving the arena is a disqualification, and the CR counts. Cutting the metalminds would be difficult because they're highly Invested, and cutting his soul would be difficult too, likely, for the same reason, plus his compounded gold, and Shardblades don't cut flesh in a way to allow cutting stuff out of his stomach to work, I think.
-
A couple of issues with that: 1. I think one of the Mistborn could Seek her out with bronze and 2. No time to draw your surroundings and magically blend when Rashek taps so much speed he hits lightspeed and kills everyone. Also several people in this arena could survive a Shardblade wound.
-
I would argue Vasher would be most in his element in a massive brawl in which he can use his set of skills to, instead of dueling (which we know he's bad at, save for the one trick), he could just run around and stab people in the back for a while. Eventually, yes, he will die, but presuming Rashek doesn't lightspeed around to murder everyone in less than an instant, he'd put up a bit of a fight.
-
I'd argue Vasher matters for separaterete reasons than those, but he still does. Also where's Vin in your whole calculation of who matters? I'd think she's be with Marsh and Kell, with Zane maybe there as well.
-
You would presumably combine the two glyphs, overlaying one on the other. I have no idea about any of the rest of it.
-
I have to disagree. Susebron wouldn't have a chance to make another Nightblood with enough of The Lord Ruler's speed/mental speed tapping happening. He's easily identifiable as the biggest threat to Rashek from the perspective of Rashek (big guy, distorting colors around him), so he'd probably max his speed getting over there solely to stop him from doing anything like what you said or anything else involving his powers that are unknown to Rashek at this time.
-
True, but then altered them further, taking advantage of what he did with the power of the Well, via Hemalurgy.
-
True enough, he do that if the arena doesn't have too many walls, because there's no protection from slamming yourself into a wall at Mach 6. I guess he could mitigate that by compounding and tapping zinc, though.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Equinox is right, those are just the painspren. You can see the corrupted shamespren in the lower right corner, too. I've always thought the stormstriders are a manifestation of the Sibling, along with Cusicesh possibly.- 43 replies

Focusing all efforts on Rashek would be a good idea, but Rashek was actually more intelligent than people give him credit for, when Ruin wasn't whispering in his ear driving him crazy. I think he'd probably start the battle aged and only using a couple of things to downplay his own strengths, then wait until the last people are left and crush them. Out of the Heralds, though, I'd say Taln would be the first to die because he'd do what he always did during the Desolations: take a stand and win, but also die. It's just a matter of finding out who he would take that stand against to determine if he'd actually win.
-
Could be worse, though: the cast could have not returned.

Least warped? Depends on what generation we're talking about, I suppose, but I'd qualify the First Generation of the Kandra to be the most warped, considering they were human before Rashek Ascended. The oracle at the Rii lighthouse wasn't a kandra. We know who he was from Brandon himself: an Elantrian (that we've seen on-screen within the Elantris book). Plus, he did have some fresh food at least part of the time. Azure is also not a kandra. She's another character of which we've seen before.
-
I'd still say Rashek could give all ten of them a fair fight. Might not come out on top, but he'd make a solid run of it.

What do the bronze-pulses sound like for someone burning Lerasium? Would it even have one? Come to think of it, does atium have bronze-pulses at all?

He more said he'd step aside to let it happen, not that he'd spread the oil and drop the match. He doesn't like Rayse very much, but if that's what needs to happen, he'll let it happen. -
Breath is more of a permanent sort of Investiture, while Stormlight is more liquid-y, complete with its own cycle, to the point where just about everything is bad at holding it due to imperfections, perfect gems being the exception. Also the Dor only did what it did because it's mindless and is just seeking an out, shoving itself through an unmatched hole.
-
Depends on the book. Wax and Wayne 4 (The Lost Metal) was first supposed to release this year, now it's scheduled for 2020/2021. His dates are generally pretty good for Stormlight, though, and he's making good progress on the outline for it (and 5 as a bonus, which he's outline-revising alongside it).

Yes he could. Heat. Compounded Feruchemical heat would burn the cloth.

Arguably, Shards are spren of Adonalsium, or could be under the correct circumstances.

The Surgebinders get 5 perfect gems apiece with Stormlight in them, Allomancers get their metal vials and cloaks and knives and stuff (including a bag of coins), Feruchemists get their metalminds, basically everyone has whatever they need for their magic and no one needs to eat/drink at all during it.
