Honor has given certain guidelines to Dalinar in the first or you can say last vision that he sees in Twok. He tells him to Unite them, whatever that they actually mean, to found the Knights Radiants, Say the old Oaths again so become a bondsmith, to humans to stop in-fighting, and champions fight. this is tentatively the totality of Honors plan. But he also said to Dalinar, Read the book. Is there any confirmation that Honor was talking about The way of Kings? Could it be some other book entirely? he also says i m sorry to leave you alone but i have done all that i could for you. any ideas on what else could he have done for humanity besided leaving these visions?

i think main character of each book has to be of a particular Order i.e. Venli here. Not for Flashbacks. If that were true then Eshonai is even more impossible because she is neither. She may have attracted Timbre but never even reached the first oath stage. She is not a Willshaper either. I do want Rlain to be a Windrunner. i want him to touch the sky with his fellow brothers.

stop giving this Moash/Vyre character more promotions!! promoted to a honorblade holder was not bad enough. now a shard!

I agree that at some point "Unite them" may apply to honorblades too, after all they are splinters of honor too. May be Honor's Champion will carry a single, really big, merged honorblade granting its holder all the twenty surges. But i dont think that the original Oathpact worked at all. It was a flawed concept to begin with. It has been said that honor obviously failed to realise that men may swear oaths but may prove unable to keep them. Heralds breaking up under the constant torture led to desolations. You seem to be suggesting that dalinar or whoever is in charge will redo the same failed experiment with new 10 people and condemn them to an eternity of torture? I find that difficult to accept. Dalinar seems to be of the mind that if Honor is dead than Odium can be killed too. I feel that he is looking for a slightly more permanent solution. Oathpact failed to stop desolations in fact i think the failure caused desolations.

So stormlight can make it bright? If u leave it outside in a vial, does it get charged? But does hoid really need this sand to tell if someone is invested. He is connected to cognitive, he can probably see spren following kaladin, shallan etc but did he not see cryptics around elhokar? Hoid knew he is not paranoid but did not help him. Probably made fun of him.

I think it might happen. There is a death rattle in twok “He must pick it up, the fallen title! The tower, the crown, and the spear! ” — Collected on Vevahach 1173, 8 seconds pre-death, by the Silent Gatherers. Subject was a prostitute of unknown background.[20] the tower: urithiru crown: godhood may be and kaladin always has the spear so all three become his. I guess.. but it I thoroughly dislike the idea because that suggests that dalinar .... oh no...
-
And a splinter would be a spren is it not? Is not that what syl is? A very tiny tiny splinter?
-
And that is why kaladin must remain single. Because he must care for all humanity and not just one lucky girl

Lamer than harmonium? I am sorry but I used to play harmonium so for me it is always going to resonate that and not a god metal.. i bet Brandon can come up with some version of it that is not lame harmonium being the god metal of two shards, should not it be more powerful than like atium or lerasium? Does it grant both things they did or something new?

Ooh yes. That I can do. Had no idea..

Yup I am beginning to think so too. Thank you

tara could have become a radiant

Skar and drehy they were the closest to Moash in wor. And they clearly know what Moash did. So if not Kaladin then them. Secondly, Ash for killing her daddy dearest.
-
Yes exactly. It seems like the same to me. Just like in twok with the visions and honors message, he is hearing the splintered shard and applying their “unite them” in his own context and finding new ways to interpret it.
-
kaladin is the best pov closely followed by Dalinar. pretty obvious i guess.
-
there is some mention of having new radiants will destroy the balance of the oathpact and endanger them all. but sometimes it does feel like there might be more merit to Ishar's plan then we realize. Ash also suggests that Ishar is not mad, stormfather says he is... but what if he is pretending to be mad to evade direct attention from Odium. crazy idea i know..

i like the idea of all the heralds doing anti-heraldi things

elhokar's death. it was actually more shock and disbelief and anger and hatred towards Moash but on rereads everytime i read elhokars scenes, when he is saying, i will become a better king, i will figure this out, sad sad scenes. everytime kaladin has a rock in his hand. renarin's face when he thought that both his father and brother are dead.. there are so many more but these are just..

i dont really like the name harmonium. it is a musical instrument! why can this metal be called sazium or something.. earlier gods were using their actual names why not sazed? and i would like to be an elantrian.

yes i think you have a lot of point here. the sand mastery may be not so much but the sand itself, may be has some interesting uses... and where is this bit about white sand vol 3? is it in the prose version? i totally missed any mysterious hooded minstrel !!

brandon is more than capable. he can probably ditch both of them and write flashbacks from Rlain's pov and still make us understand venli as a character. for all we know Venli and Rlain were probably besties, or arch enemies!! the point is that brandon had kind of promised us eshonai flashbacks but if he feels that they might not work or may come out as more of a fluff then i understand that. and i will be more than happy to read flashbacks from Venli's pov. in fact, to me personally it makes sense. may be brandon is trying to do something new that it need not be the main characters flashbacks every book. i am sure he can make that work too. but Venli's book Venli's flashbacks. it makes sense. it works too.

it is not obligatory in indian culture however, it is certainly not unheard of practice.

yup i was wondering that myself. thanx for shifting it to Cosmere i do wonder though how he could have managed to learn Sand Mastery... it can be learned but it takes time, probably years to master it in any significant way. moreover, how could he have convinced any of the mastrells to teach him? the impression i got was that sand masters were a very closed up group. they probably all know each other very well. how can a stranger even enter their ranks, or without doing so, learn it?
