What about if a feruchemist stores gold after his arm had been cut by a shardblade, can he use that gold healing to repair his spiritweb and if a feruchemist stores pewter can he store muslce from his spiritually severed arm?

[OB] Multiple types of humans?
MountainKing replied to Chandlerhimself's topic in Stormlight Archive
I not for sure this is confirmed, but I pretty sure it's the Parshedi were born here, some humans came preshattering, more humans came after the catalysm on Ashyn, and then the Iriali came and probably one type of aimian or both types came to Roshar at a undisclosed time. -
I love this theory

Do the sleepless would be amazing spies because they came breed their cremlings to appear like Scadrialians bugs or just hide them well because they are so small.

Most or all the metal the spren have has been created by cultivationspren or their machines. We know from Secret History that metal created from cognitive objects can't be burned so it can be assumed that the metal can't be pulled or pushed. All the spren will side with the radiants because the prompt says that all the nations of each world will work together, so the nation of spren will join forces with the rest of Roshar. Even if the radiants have problems with bringing their spren off world they still can hold off the Scadrialian forces.
-
Any metal the spren have can't be pulled or pushed on, and they are immune to emotional allomancy. They have perfect to near perfect gemstones, that will allow radiants to bring stormlight to Scadrail and they have machines that create physical objects by using investiture and cognitive aspect of objects, allowing the Rosharan forces to provide food and water for their troops. Cultivationspren can naturally "grow" objects from cognitive aspects of physical objects allowing the spren to quickly produce armour and weapons to fight against Scadrailian forces.
-
But everyone is forgetting about the spren.
-
I feel that Roshar will win just because of the spren population. All of the first battles will happen in the cognitive realm, that means that lurchers, rioters, soothers, and coinshots will be useless, all metal, that the spren have, is grown from cognitive aspects and spren will resist any form of emotional allomancy as they are living investiture. They will detect any use of Allomancy, and maybe uses of Feruchemy. Spren are almost impossible to kill unless Scadrialians have shardblades, and hermalurgic spikes would be poor substitutes. Spren also have machines that can create physical things from cognitive aspects, like food or water, and access to perfect or near perfect gemstones, so even if they can't leave Roshar they can give Radiants and armies these machines and gemstones to let them bring investiture and create food when they are on Scadrial. As of right now, we do not know if Scadrial has anyway of using cognitive objects to create physical objects.

I think someone could "see" the blue lines behind them, but because of perception they don't.

[OB] Multiple types of humans?
MountainKing replied to Chandlerhimself's topic in Stormlight Archive
So the blue skin people are humans who ancestors bread with one type of aimian, the horneaters and the herdazians are humans who ancestors bred with the Singers, and the Iriali have been confirmed to have came to Roshar after everyone else. -
Tien is a lightweaver, lightweavers can make illusions, Jasnah believes that illusions can help with soulcasting, Tien in his time in the army spent a lot of time alone, I don't think we have a confirmation that Tien is truly dead. Tien used the surges to create a duplicate body and then ran away from the army.
-
So we know that lightweavers need to say truths so further in their order, so what would of been Tien's secrets?

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
MountainKing replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you go through a full body metal detector at the airport, and you think they can't sense any metal on you, because of innate investiture. Then you tell yourself that it's a metal detector not an investiture detector. -
[OB] Justified racism on Roshar and elsewhere

I thought that the Fused were attempting to take over the peaks. -
But how will the surge of gravity work different, Kaladin has already changed the direction of gravity and and an objects's gravitational pull, unless voidbinding is mostly the cognitive and spiritual versions of the surges there isn't much we haven't seen.
-
But we didn't see the fused till oathbringer, and they use voidlight.
-
I feel that for most surges voidbinding will work for the same for most surges, with minor differencees, remember the singers had access to surges via natural spren they were just forbidden to use them, so I think that Honor and Odium's just made with easier, more consistent, and allowed humans to use the surges.

So I'm pretty sure that A-Gold shows you another version of you in the present if you made different choices in the past.
-
Well technically alternate realities sort of exist in the spiritual realm that's how allomantic gold, atium, electrum, and the fortune mechanic

I don't mean you would automatically become a banker, but that you would have the full memories of a trained banker that you can immediately access at anytime.
