LET'S RUSTIIIIIIIING GOOOOOOOOO THAT'S WHAT I'M STORMING TALKING ABOUT GJASKLGHASLKGJNAODSKL,J -
H.E.A.R.T.H accelerated. Each second brought them closer. Each second, death neared. But changes were being made. Pressure was being applied. And maybe - just maybe - a hand would be forced. A hand. Forced. For a second, H.E.A.R.T.H hung suspended in the air. Below it, the ravine fell away, the river crashed. It shut its eyes. And a hand grabbed onto it, pulling it onto the other side. It was the girl. But she was all grown up now. She smiled, and he smiled back. They had made it. They had survived. He looked back, looked back at the ravine. It was so small now. And then it all faded away. ALRIGHT GUYS WE GOT A TIE

Ahh, okay As for my Weasel read - I disliked their reasoning for voting I don't remember who. I'mma check real quick (I explained it in an earlier post) but at this point I'm just spitting out posts as fast as I can Yup Also Sage Kangaroo @Oxblood Beagle, gonna do your part? We're running out of time over here Alright here we go It's very weak, but it just feels off. Well? You up for this or what?

That's precisely my point I want to put the elims in a situation where they are forced to use vote manip If we have one exe candidate, there are two possibilities: Option 1 (very high chance): We exe a villager. No info Option 2 (very very low chance): We exe an elim. Decent info If we have more than one: Option 1 (high chance): Both villa. We exe a villager. Option 2 (low chance): One is an elim. Elims forced to make a move. High info. Next cycle, we actually have something to analyze Option 2 gets better and better the more tie candidates we have I will back it I have no idea what the suspicion on Kangaroo is, but I'll take practically anyone Agreed on the it should be taken into consideration from now on. But if we can agree that Axl may have missed it, then why are we still holding that against it? I'm not saying I v!read Axl. But I e!read Axl at the same level as anyone else right now, except perhaps Heron.

H.E.A.R.T.H raced down the passages of the TYRIAN, frantic. The crew had made their choice. The day would end in death. It was H.E.A.R.T.H's intent to make that death as chaotic as possible. There were monsters among them. But it was unlikely for a monster to die tonight. That was merely the way things went. Tonight, a good person would die. So it was not the identity of the victim that mattered - but the circumstances around their murder. A tie increased the likelihood of a monster on the edge - and such a likelihood would force the monsters to make a move. To reveal themselves, in one form or another. H.E.A.R.T.H did not fear emotional manipulation. It welcomed it. Encouraged it. Because emotional manipulation revealed truths, truths that could be used in the pursuit of clarity. So this was its gambit. This was its leap. Why ponder later? The Dragonfly need not be in danger for a tie to occur. H.E.A.R.T.H addresses the Beagle, and asks for their help. Propose a tie candidate, and H.E.A.R.T.H would follow. But it was not willing to watch a smooth death and do nothing.

OOOOOOOH Oh oh oh Okay I get it I do want to say though that regarding your attacks on Axl (or anyone else voting DF) it's highly possible that, like me, they missed that claim In fact, @Ivory Dragonfly some confirmation would be nice "Eat the exe"? Also, since I'm giving you a v!read for now for picking up on that claim and pushing about it, would you be up to getting some new train rolling? I'd prefer a tie between two sus candidates than just a single one And with this VC: I'm willing to back an alternate train on anyone except for you for now. In fact, considering how close things are, I might like to chase Weasel to the finish line. @Violet Axolotl@Scarlet Octopus@Sage Kangaroo you're all voting DF right now. In light of Lurcher claims, would y'all be willing to back a train on Indigo Weasel? We're pushing it a bit tight, but that's the wonder of SE, isn't it If all three of you switch to Weasel (and so does @Mint Heron) we can get a two way tie I'm welcome to any partners here Let's shake things up

When H.E.A.R.T.H disconnected in the morning, it was met with a present surprise; the day was not yet over. The bouts of unconsciousness must not have consumed as much battery as it expected, and while many others had already retreated to their quarters, H.E.A.R.T.H still had two hours left to make a decision. Two hours left to save - or doom - a life. H.E.A.R.T.H was, once again, confused by Echo's speech. H.E.A.R.T.H heard Frisk's words, and resonatesdwith them. The example they included of Fletcher's behavior was indeed suspicious - and seems to follow a trend of opportunistic climbs on the Dragonfly train. Silently, H.E.A.R.T.H wondered whether a potential threat could have pushed the pileup, or whether the accusations are simply opportunistic - assuming, that is, the likelihood they come from those who are evil. While H.E.A.R.T.H did previously establish their unwillingness to analyze much the first day, in large part due to the mass of events they had missed, they were beginning to note certain trends. For one, merely reviewing very recent events, H.E.A.R.T.H did not like the behavior of the one called Weasel. In the case of this statement, H.E.A.R.T.H wasn't sure of the Dragonfly's intent itself - but didn't understand how an evildoer could have any more information than a villager in that specific situation. (OOC - how WOULD we have a messenger that's not a Tineye?) For a change, in this instance, H.E.A.R.T.H heavily agrees with the Weasel's reasoning; the statement quoted from Meerkat does indeed provide no seeming reasoning (yes, it is quite similar to the level H.E.A.R.T.H provided for the same statement, but H.E.A.R.T.H clearly established its intent as different to evil-slaying). (OOC - how did votes stand on Dragonfly at the time of that statement? It seems recent, so I'm assuming too volatile a situation for a poke vote) So why, in that case, did Weasel not attack Meerkat? Instead, they chose to attack another Dragonfly voter, who actually seemed to provide a stronger foundation of reasoning in H.E.A.R.T.H's view. Now, there was a heavy possibility that H.E.A.R.T.H was reading too much into this - pattern analysis told it that in this sort of situation, villagers tend to imagine or attribute more meaning than deserved to small acts to fuel their accusations once they make them. H.E.A.R.T.H did not want to fall into that trap - but still, it began to eye Weasel with suspicion. H.E.A.R.T.H would like to make clear that it is in full agreement with this claim. H.E.A.R.T.H turned to Levin, the only one who had approached it after seeing it had awoken. "I know that story," H.E.A.R.T.H replied sagely. "It's a true classic, if obscure in these times. And with my memory logs, I recall that while that particular story did result in the triumph of Ruin - that early in its course, a seeming tie forced the Spiked to resort to emotional Allomancy to remain alive. Emotional Allomancy that, if well tracked by the village, could have allowed them to purge a monster from their ranks. It was not early indecision that doomed the people of Tyrian Falls - it was ignorance of what was right before them." H.E.A.R.T.H was confused by the Heron's statement. "What do you mean? I am, I will admit, relatively new in function. What do you think we are sleepwalking into?" (OOC - so wait, by Doctor you mean Lurcher? Who here has claimed that?) H.E.A.R.T.H did have to admit all of that did sound somewhat concerning. So, if it understood correctly: Dragonfly was claiming to be a crewmember with crucial power (saving a life)? And Axl's behavior pressing a tie in self-pres was odd because even if self-pres is regularly justified it makes no sense to save a reg villager over a Lurcher unless Axl is hiding something? Of course, the Kandra ("wtf" ) did have the possibility to mitigate some risks. Observing the current count of accusations: VC: Violet Axolotl (5): Onyx Flamingo (no reasoning for DF attack), Mint Heron (attacking DF post Lurcher claim), Melon Dingo, Mauve Crocodile, Ivory Dragonfly (self pres?) Sapphire Elephant (2): Sunburst Toucan, Oxblood Beagle Salmon Meerkat (2): Sapphire Elephant, Magenta Albatross Sage Kangaroo (2): Salmon Meerkat, Indigo Weasel (weird hop on DF train) Mauve Crocodile (1): Quartz Zebra Ivory Dragonfly (4): Violet Axolotl (vibes, self pres), Taupe Gecko (uselessness), Scarlet Octopus, Sage Kangaroo (poke vote) Scarlet Octopus (1): Saffron Iguana At this stage in time, considering a tie was ruined (and H.E.A.R.T.H heard Heron's concerns) H.E.A.R.T.H was inclined to back an alternate train on Indigo Weasel. H.E.A.R.T.H was fully aware of the potential uselessness of such an introduction so close to the moment of truth, yet it made it anyway. A lot of the votes on the table seemed to be early pokes - insubstantial in the long run - and the more it learned, the more it disliked the pileup on the Dragonfly. So it made a wild move. A gamble. A leap of faith. A leap of faith. A leap. Faith. The sky was blue. H.E.A.R.T.H stood at the edge of the ravine. It seemed so deep, from here. The river crashing at its bottom was wild, hungry. A single slip, and it would destroy him. He was afraid. He knew he was afraid. Then he looked up and saw her. She stood on the other side of the ravine. They were just kids, and she was laughing at him. She called him a coward, but he liked it. Even though he wasn't a coward. Jump, she yelled! I'll catch you! H.E.A.R.T.H laughed. She couldn't catch him. But still, he took a few steps back, and turned around. A couple deep breaths. Then her next taunt came, and he ran, and leapt.

Dangnation I’m tired Let’s see what I can respond 100% get what you’re saying. There’s a couple things I’d like to say. First, I agree with voting people we find suspicious - but, in case I didn’t make it clear before, I am not willing to invest the time and effort right now to form D1 reads, due to both business and admittedly a bit of laziness. I am committed to taking a far more active stance on analysis starting next cycle, but the truth is, whatever your position, D1 trains often don’t amount to much past dangerous tunneling and there’s already five pages I’ve missed. Hols that against me if you will. I’m not intentionally attacking Dragonfly because they irritate me, and I’m sorry if it came across like that.I attacked Dragonfly because in that moment it seemed like a better idea to vote someone who I don’t see contributing much over picking at random (as, as I’ve established, I want to keep pressure flowing and I’m not committed to solving right now). I appreciate the reads. They have been noted. Massive respect for doing all that. Your reads, too, have been noted. Agree with what you’re saying about my seeming laziness. Again, I’ve been busy. I will say my first vote on you was absolutely reasoning-less, not for RP reasons. I wanted to poke and you gave me a good RP excuse (so I guess it was for RP reasons, in a way). Let’s note these for VC: Kangaroo voted Dragonfly for “poke”. Weasel votes Kangaroo for weird hop on Dragonfly train, sees potential Kangaroo/Dragonfly/Meerkat distancing team VC: Violet Axolotl (4): Onyx Flamingo, Mint Heron, Melon Dingo, Mauve Crocodile Sunburst Toucan (1): Ivory Dragonfly Sapphire Elephant (2): Sunburst Toucan, Oxblood Beagle Salmon Meerkat (2): Sapphire Elephant, Magenta Albatross Sage Kangaroo (3): Salmon Meerkat, Saffron Iguana, Indigo Weasel (weird hop on DF train) Mauve Crocodile (1): Quartz Zebra Ivory Dragonfly (4): Violet Axolotl, Taupe Gecko (somewhat random, unhelpful), Scarlet Octopus, Sage Kangaroo (poke vote) … The parentheses are what I mean by including reasoning in VCs. I think I’m gonna leave my vote on Dragonfly for now; I have no reads, but neither do I trust those of the village (sorry guys) and last game made me respect Tyrian ties. There’s a very real possibility I will sleep through rollover. I promise to contribute more in future cycles, right now I’m just tired and honestly somewhat grumpy. The crew was still in motion as H.E.A.R.T.H wheeled into its charging station, plugged itself in, and lost itself in a sea of black and white and red.

This vision was different. When H.E.A.R.T.H awoke in the fighting, a woman was there. She fought through the flames to get to him, and picked him up, carrying him to safety. She looked down and spoke to him, and something she said made him laugh, distracting him from the pain that wrecked through his body. He laughed, he coughed, blood filled his mouth, he screamed an empty sound. When H.E.A.R.T.H snapped awake, it did not remember the woman's words nor her face - only her smile. H.E.A.R.T.H wheeled over and settled down next to Isabel. It needed a break; it seemed the crowd had moved on following its collapse. "The count is appreciated. I am not built for this type of situation - so please forgive if my performance is not suitable - but for my evaluation, I require more information. The amount of accusations already lying on my target is interesting - what is their reasoning? How many of these votes are random, and how many are evidenced?" (OOC - I appreciate it, truly, but I'd also like to know the reasoning behind these trains. Also, Kangaroo, I've noticed you're also voting Dragonfly. What's your reasoning, or is it just a poke vote?). H.E.A.R.T.H was suddenly distracted by a musician, who came up to him. "I am in complete agreement," H.E.A.R.T.H made clear. And I have no reason to believe the Dragonfly is hiding anything. I merely didn't find their manner of communication conducive to progress in the long term, and would prefer a vote - pressure - anywhere over nowhere. I would love to hear your own opinions of these events. As for why the Dragonfly specifically, the only reasoning is that they are the one who most stood out for their mirkyness from my cursory evaluation." (OOC - it's not a very deep vote, but I feel like most votes at this stage in the game, especially with this many players, are somewhat equally likely to hit an elim, and I'd rather take out a villager I struggle to understand than one that helps me solve - no offense to Ivory Dragonfly. Actually, @Ivory Dragonfly, what are the parameters of your cosmetic role? I'm curious. As for you, Heron, I'd really love to hear any reads you've got so far. You're voting Violet Axolotl: why?) Somewhat random but thank you for quoting a post that has a summary, even if it's outdated. Also, to anyone reading this, my questions for Kangaroo and Heron apply to everyone.

When H.E.A.R.T.H had finally recovered enough to make its way to the mess hall, it was greeted by a scene of chaos. The crew - nearly complete, it seemed - were engaged in a frenzy of talk and debate, accusations flying. H.E.A.R.T.H had clearly missed a lot. While the announcements continued to nag at it, it's head was clearer now with the dreadful visions of violence in the past, and though this havoc too pounded at its barriers, it forced itself to evaluate calmly. There were traitors among this vessel. There was no other explanation; the crew of the TYRIAN had been compromised. H.E.A.R.T.H's programmed instincts itched to dive into analysis, but it was in no position to do that. Not today. Too much had transpired to evaluate, and with this little evidence, most was likely meaningless. It could, however, take some steps. To begin with, H.E.A.R.T.H retracted its accusation towards Mauve Crocodile. That had been made under different circumstances, and there was no time anymore for meaningless votes. H.E.A.R.T.H had to charge overnight, and that meant missing crucial events. (OOC - I might sleep through rollover. Having it in the late morning is really funky). So it had to capitalize on what was before it now. Trying to be heard over the clamor, H.E.A.R.T.H approached anyone who didn't seem too insane and began to request summaries of the day's events - and suspicions. (OOC - a summary of the main trains and accusations going on right now would be utterly magnificent, as I am not reading through five pages of this madness, most of which is probably RP). As it awaited answers, however, it switched to another priority. As per H.E.A.R.T.H's calculations, an accusation, anywhere, applied pressure. Pressure forced reaction. Reaction fed analysis. And so H.E.A.R.T.H was set on making an accusation, and as it pondered its possibilities, a voice rose above the clammer. Calm. Poetic. Utterly useless. Unable to stand the clamor any longer, H.E.A.R.T.H let out a sharp screech that reverberated in the hall. Instantly, most conversations died out. Faces turned to inspect the crazed automaton. Pleased, H.E.A.R.T.H addressed the crowd. "ORDER! We must ascertain order. I know not what has transpired in this hall today, nor what the topic of discussion is. But I know." H.E.A.R.T.H waved a metal fist, face overheating. "That there are monsters among us. And in the face of monsters, we must stand united. We must stand strong. And we must stand clear. Yet there are those among us who speak only in riddles, revealing little of their true thoughts. THIS is my proclamation." H.E.A.R.T.H turned to Echo. "I do not know you. There is nothing that makes me believe you evil. Yet I can say the same of every other face in this room; so at the lack of information, faced in a situation where nearly any move is a losing one - I propose one that increases clarity. Ivory Dragonfly. We have no use for those who do not move us closer to our goal. Speak clearly - or die." For a second, the entire hall seemed to freeze, focused on the seemingly insane figure and its speech. Then the overheating reached H.E.A.R.T.H's brain, and it collapsed to the floor, back in the world of flames and fighting and death. Oh, and also, a VC would be nice.

Taupe Gecko apologizes for their inactivity. The Gecko is at the beach, and as such has been busy. The Gecko promises to do their best to be more active as the game progresses. Appreciate the VC. I know it’s somewhat hypocritical of me to say since I won’t out in the effort right now (and probably this cycle considering how busy y’all have been) but I think we should normalize including vote reasoning in VCs for easy review. Also sorry for not RPing right now I’ll normalize that later but I just wanted to get these thoughts out

H.E.A.R.T.H released a sharp screeching sound as it wheeled down the passageways of the falling ship. The vessel was in chaos, yet the disturbance seemed a slight murmur in comparison to the havoc competing within H.E.A.R.T.H’s head - or what passed for its head. When the pirates attacked, H.E.A.R.T.H had been caught unaware, fulfilling its regular duties in the storage cabins when the room was overrun by panicked crew members. In the rush, H.E.A.R.T.H was beaten and squashed, run over and utterly ignored. It was traumatizing. But that was not yet when the real pain began. As H.E.A.R.T.H tried to push itself up, only to be trampled again, something inside it snapped, and a vision came upon it. The crew and walls were replaced with crooked figures clad in stained armor, barriers of fire and blood and death and screams. It lasted only seconds, yet it was Agony. Instants later, the world returned to normal. But the memory - and the pain - wouldn’t go. H.E.A.R.T.H was not built for pain. It was not built for remembering. It was built for helping. And so it staggered as it found a way out of that wretched room, to a quiet corridor where it could be alone with the fury inside it. But then came that voice. That horrendous, annoying, lying voice. That would not leave it alone. So H.E.A.R.T.H screeched, and cried for the death of the one who hid behind the name of Mauve Crocodile. … Let’s get this party started
