H.E.A.R.T.H awoke to chaos. First, there was the madness of memories. The boy - no longer a boy - had been present at the Occupation of Urithiru. He tried to make out its words... but there were no words. Just a clear, haunting whistle. Fear flooded his veins. His heart began to beat faster and faster. Forcing his muscles to work, he tried to push himself up to run, but his wrist gave way and he released a scream. Though he could not see through eyes covered in blood, he knew, at that moment, that death smiled. And the footsteps began to approach. ... The vividness of that memory was still seared into H.E.A.R.T.H's mind. It was at that moment that he had unplugged from the charger, flown across the room so fast he nearly broke it, crashed into the opposite wall and fallen to the ground in a daze. Panic filled his robotic body; despite knowing the impossibility, he could've sworn he felt the ghost of sweat on his face. Ghosts. That was all these memories were. They were him. He was a ghost. Slowly, sense returned. And when it did, it found H.E.A.R.T.H curled up on the floor, weeping. Just a speck of nothing, in a sea of everything.
