  1. "Because for most of the cycle they were voting each other, now it doesnt exclude an e/e combo, but I think it makes it less likely." Chiji remarked, explaining as if it was simple. "Ironeyes have me if they're both saboteur."
  2. Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that. But this does clear Dragonfly. So I was a little busy around rollover. So who are our top suspects? Chiji blinked. He had not expected the one other person on the ship who also worshipped ironeyes to be a saboteur. "Ironeyes will torment your soul forever traitor." He grumbled, upset that he'd been tricked by them.
  3. Chiji took the breaths. "You're rusting insane. I wouldn't buy Ironeyes' storming honorblade." Can coinshots self-kill?
  4. "Okay, deal." He pulls out 5 boxings, "Ironeyes will have you if you scammed me."
  5. "Unkeyed, you say? What assurances would I have that it is actually unkeyed and you aren't scamming me?"
  6. Chiji stopped and looked at the paper. "I don't have any breath that's for sale," he said. "I understand your need, but I can't help you. I hope someone else can. Otherwise, you'll meet Ironeyes sooner than you think."
  7. "Rusting would be god. Ironeyes take us all if he really is who he claims to be." Chiji stands and starts walking down the hallway, "let's see..." He starts considering many things that could be true. "It'd help if I had a rusting vote count." Salmon Meerkat thanks for joining us. I revoke my poke vote. Only to now also vote on Ivory Dragonfly, who, as previously stated, seems to have changed their vote on a whim
  8. "I am suspicious of Echo." Their grip on their amulet tightens, "I voted someone at random. And they saw that and switched to voting me, I don't know why, but I think it was as a defense for another traitor. Otherwise, it would be a random vote switch brought on by nothing."
  9. "Adonalsium hasn't existed for millennia." "Anyways, who do we think the traitor is. We can send them to Ironeyes for judgment?"
  10. "He is, woke me from a nice nap he did." He continues eating his food. "He is no Adonalsium." They finger the amulet
  11. "Yes. Ironeyes will have the souls of these traitors."
  12. An interesting switch, seeming overly defensive of someone they would have no idea of their alignment. "Awfully suspicious." Chiji muttered, now taking a seat in the mess hall. One again, Ironeyes had given him an opening. "I will remember this." He whispered. "Ironeyes will remember this."
  13. Chiji was napping when the voice of storming ado had come on. "Ugh... Rusting idiot," He grumbled to himself, who in their right mind would think they were Adonalsuim? He grabbed his hat and stood up. He didn't think anything of what had happened, but he decided to check up on it anyway. " "Whatever happens here, ironeyes will have my rusting soul." He said as he walked down the corridors to the mess hall, still a little shaken by what had happened, he fingered the small amulet he kept around his neck, a symbol, the symbol of the last inquisitor. The god of death. Ironeyes. He went over the list in his head, who on the crew was most likely to be the traitor and most deserving of Ironeyes' wrath; he didn't know, he'd have to guess, at least until he worked up some solid evidence. Salmon Meerkat
  14. Hmmm. Not sure who I should vote on for the other events, but I know my Tri vote. Saffron Iguana, please win for me! ---- Starting the inner gambling ring turned out to be a failure. No matter; I'd made plenty of my own winnings alone. Even though I didn't have a new little coalition to share information within, I'd still gotten some insights from old friends. We'll be making off with quite the spoils, though really, every hopper here will. It's easy to cheat when you're not confined to just the one body. ---- My RP should not imply that I was starting PM's; my "old friends" is just my team, and I am not exchanging information with anyone else. Though I suppose that my RP instead indicates that my character was intending to send PM's but such a thing is impossible within the game.
  15. Well, well, well. Seems like I've got one gold locked in. I hope. Voting Sage Kangaroo for the kayaking event. And, uh, the others...I'll go with Amber Vulture for pole vaulting, and Emerald Falcon for the 100m dash. Hm. Actually, I take back the "one vote" thing. I'm confident about all three of these. ---- Octopus was trying to set up a gambling ring. He'd heard of those before. Not just the concept -- everyone had heard of those, and it wasn't notable -- but how they worked, when they popped up, how to keep them in control. How to keep them from exploding into international incidents. To be more specific, he was trying to sway a small portion of the already-extant gambling ring all the body hoppers had set up when the Olympics began. He had a good feeling about his picks this go-round, and he stood to win more than the usual prizes. He'd earn a small measure of trust. And that's where the real money was.
  16. Todays' events will be the Breaststroke 200, Javelin, and Table Tennis. Hmmmm. Well, I don’t know any un-disqualified swimmers, so I’ll just guess on Cream Tuatara for the Breaststroke 200. Not sure if they’re inhabited this cycle, but I like my random-guess odds. As for the other two…I also don’t know. I’ll pick the favorite by tallying up some votes from others. Crowdsource it. Looks like Turquoise Gorilla and Onyx Flamingo are the favorites to win, sitting at 2 votes. I’m feelin’ lucky. ——— I wish I had an excuse for not reporting the last two days’ events, which was my job. As an embodied spirit, sickness doesn’t really hold me down all that much. Except, it turns out, here. I ate some bad street food (and met some other hoppers; unrelated) and now I’ve been totally unable to work (and also the hoppers have been hounding me to go on trips around the city so we can “authentically” listen to the games on radio instead of in the stadium; also unrelated to my work absence). Really, I’ve just been quite sick. Anyway, the sickness passed (and the hoppers finally found some athletes to jump into so they could participate so they dissolved our little club without preamble; unrelated) so I’m back here in the stadium! Camera’s ready for action.
  17. Nothing left to add before rollover besides my votes. Voting Indigo Weasel for the Freestyle 400, and Coral Swan for the Balance Beam.
  18. Not voting for anyone just yet, but I'm enjoying the RP right now. -------- It was fun, participating in the Games this way. Sure, you could watch on the TV, but there was a distinct thrill in being there in-person. Even more when you were in-a-person. You felt the real thrill of performing, hoping you wouldn't fail or worse, get caught. Wouldn't want to ruin anyone's fun, mortal or spirit. I found a happier balance between anxiety and conspiratorial thrill during the off-hours between events, personally, but it wouldn't have the same kick to it if I didn't actually participate. I would need to find a good opportunity on my next hop. This body wasn't competing, not unless things really went awry.
  19. Sure. I'm a commentator. You have to do whatever I say
  20. Gooooooooooooff Gooooooooooooff When the spirits in the body ma Exe it like it's hot Exe it like it's hot Exe it like it's hot ~ What's going? Whaz good?
  21. So a single Rioter could have caused that result. That means that if it was an elim defending an elim, we know that one of Guerilla or Iguna (or theoretically both, but I don't think we're that good) is an elim and a voter of the other option was an elim. If both are evil, then one of their combined voters is an elim. Or one of the aforementioned scenarios happened.
  22. I do think that the Croc train was propagated by the elims. I think at least one of the vote manips was elim as well. That makes me more suspicious of Gorilla and Saffron and less suspicious of Chameleon.
