Mid-Range Game 37/Anonymous Game 6: An Empire is Falling
Indigo Weasel replied to Elandera's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hello everyone! Sorry I'm late! Hmm, good catch Dragonfly. The public rules do seem like they are possibly trying to mislead us. Idk how many factions there would be though, as anyone in a non-public faction would immediately understand the nature of the game, where the people in the two public ones would have to figure it out. It would make more sense to me if there was a third "neutral" faction (like some people have already mentioned) which would win/lose independently of the other 2. It's also possible that instead of a third neutral faction, there are many neutral roles, each having abilities that would affect the other two factions. I don't feel like it will just be a single lone wolf though. As the wording of the public wincons are: Emphasis mine. It would seem to me that both groups likely have more things threatening them than just each other. A single neutral could do this, but it would imo, make more sense to have 3/4 neutrals instead. My picture is cute... But not as cute as my last one. ; )- 188 replies

Quick Fix Game 36/Anonymous Game 5: Dream Thieves
Indigo Weasel replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
On second thought, Chartreuse Penguin. I think their pickpocket ability must take a random item, if they don't know if it worked or if it was something else. I'll vote on Oxblood Beagle, because they left us to decide the lynch without adding analysis to the discussion or a reason for their vote. I think they might be up to something this cycle with the lynch. -

Golden Banana and Help, we need to plan. My phone is 26034, so contact me with one of your actions and prove who you are, then we can plan. I vote on Chartreuse Penguin -
Quick Fix Game 36/Anonymous Game 5: Dream Thieves
Indigo Weasel replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Meerkat now has 10 votes on them. If everyone remembers, if the lynch is a tie, all of the victims get lynched. And, more people getting lynched means more possible items for everybody. I'll vote for Taupe Gecko. If a few people switch to Gecko, we could lynch two bodies tonight. -
? And no, we're not that close to winning. This game has been a giant string of setbacks for us. What I'm worried about is faction number 5's wincon. They are the only one I know nothing about.

I though that, but I'm willing to hear their explanation why Devotion was so bad. I think Devotion is one of, if not the, weakest Shard in the game.

Ruin can't shatter Shards. And note I'm not the one lynching you. I voted for Tutara. I think you are probably in the same faction as them, because of Ivory's analysis, but I'm not sure. My contact believes them, as the animal in question has been pretty trustworthy in their opinion. I trust their judgement.

Well, for one, having Odium would put them at a whopping 3 Shards. Also, someone I trust told me that someone they kind-of trust said so.

I have information that your faction is the biggest threat to mine right now.

Maybe we should leave the lynch to the gods of luck and chance. I mean, it puts pressure on all three of them to reveal information, and it also gives us information about the alignment of various vote manip roles.

I'll tell you some of it. You tried to save Axolotl in the lynch. Therefore, you were one of the two factions hoping to get Odium. I know two which weren't, one which was, and the Company is probably too small to affect the lynch much now anyways. You are therefore probably in the last, undisclosed faction. You also said you had a factionmate who knew a lot about Axolotl. Therefore, your faction was working closely with them, and likely has Odium. EDIT: Ninja'd. ... We suspected some of that for different reasons. However, we had decided to not reveal what we knew yet. I wish you were on our team

Tutara. You've been opposing me/my faction all game. Also, I have evidence to suggest you have Odium.

If all win percentages drop, the percentage would be less than 100 percent total. SOMEONE has to benefit. And personally, unless you're a doc spy, I think I would be one of those benefiting. And maybe even then.

So it decreases the net win percentage of everyone. That's not how math works.

So if revealing all your information would decrease the net win percentage of anyone that wasn't you, wouldn't it be BENEFICIAL for you to reveal everything you know?

I've been in the same situation. But in my case, I didn't openly lie or deceive others. And my role's wincon wasn't nearly incompatible to every other wincon. And we don't know it's only on a lynch. Maybe they target someone, and if they are a Shard, it is stolen.
