  1. Ok, so as we get closer and closer to the end of this first cycle, I think it is time to re-evaluate the current lynch votes. Everyone has the ability to manipulate the lynch, so It's at least somewhat important we pay attention... And honestly I'd prefer to not waste my action on vote shenanigans to make sure the lynch isn't tampered with. Based on Swan's last count, this is what I got: Mouse(2):Dragonfly,Swan, Weasel Swan(1):Dingo,Tuatara, Weasel Dingo(1):Mouse, Dragonfly Dragonfly(1):Mouse, Scorpion Vulture(1):Falcon Penguin(0):Scorpion Falcon(0):Hyena, Crocodile Hyena(0):Weasel Of these people, I'm going to have to take my vote off of Coral Swan And I'm still not sure who to vote on yet, but with all the uncertainty, I'm going to have to vote on Azure Mouse. You have posted a lot, but most of the post have been filler/fluff. Some people have already given me village vibes this game, and similarly that gives me a elim vibe.
  2. If that's your wincon, I don't share a wincon with you. Edit (I had some more time, and was bored, so decided to pick at some things said earlier): I mean, I claimed because I was bored. Half of me thought I was going to get lynched. Lol. I wouldn't encourage anyone else to claim publicly, but to instead PM me... I would be careful about using the survival of the lynch as a way to find Lews. There is a decent chance some others might have that ability. Assuming the lynch even kills someone. Hmm
  3. I don't feel quite comfortable voting on Ivory yet, mostly because I think an SK would be given far more information than the rest of us. If we are all Forsaken, Ivory is likely faking not being one just in case it's a pseudo faction game and we exposed ourselves too much. If we aren't all forsaken, I think Ivory likely has little information on the state of the game/her group, and is speculating about what a group of Forsaken could mean for the state of the game. Either way, I think an SK would keep their heads down a bit more. I'm looking more at Mouse for the quantity of posts that kind of just say self explanatory things (though D1 that's not super meaningful). Also, Crocodile's post feels very villiger-y... for what it's worth... as we still don't even know if there are villagers this game. Beyond that, the rest of the people who have spoken less are more on my list to look into. Lol, if I spend so much time looking for an SK, and then realize this isn't an SK game, I'm going to be very sad. Lol.
  4. You're right. I remembered it with different wording that allowed everyone to be a channeler. Shush. Lol Balthamel would be the name you are looking for. =) There will be people other than Lews though who can't use Saidar. Edit: Just saw your edit. Wouldn't people other than the forsaken possibly not be able to use Saidar though? If I understand correctly, it's just the half of the power for female characters. So any male character wouldn't be able to use it.
  5. Hmm... No one else supporting Dingo and myself? That's unfortunate. Perhaps this game isn't quite so simple. xD Granted, it's a Fifth game. Idk what I was expecting.
  6. Ok then. If this is true, it shouldn't hurt for me to say this. But this is starting to sound like a village/elimSK game to me. I'm not 100% sure. @Fuchsia Ostrich I'd like to hear a bit on why you are inclined that there are multiple wincons. So, we have some progress. I'm feeling really good about Melon, and possibly Fuchsia now... But I am making some assumptions about this being a village/SK game.
  7. I think this is a game of neutrals. I believe that because if this game had an elim faction, I'm about 75% sure I'd be in it. I'm Aran'gar, a Forsaken. When I got my PM, I thought I was evil, but I was convinced by the Dark Lord himself that I have the ability to chose my own "alignment" this game. My wincon makes sense for what I know of my character, and is probably not universally compatible, but I think should be compatible with at least several others. (As I have no clue on what most wincons look like yet) Aran'gar seems to be a fairly underwhelming Forsaken in terms of either power or notoriety, so I suspect there are other forsaken. Hopefully none of this message will result in some attempting to kill me... but I do know enough that if someone attempts that they probably wont like what happens next Oh, and I wouldnt complain if people PMed me this cycle. just throwing that out there.
  8. Do you have a reason to think they are in this game? I dont think there are any darkfriends in this game at all. Vulture definitely sounds to me like they have some additional info... but so do we all, so idk. What they say about the number of players though is true. I think Fifth has a history of giving people unique roles in WoT games. I also seem to recall that game had some ways to prove your role. Based on my own ability set, I dont believe proving roles will be either possible or useful in any way this game. Rereading everyone's posts, nothing seems particularly in-genuine (if that's a word) or suspicious to me, so I'm going to hop to the Swan lynch, as I believe them to be the only player with yet to post, though they also have yet to log in at all, so hopefully that changes soon. charcoal hyena. Coral Swan edit: @Coral Swan
  9. Hmm, though there doesn't seem to be any limit on number of times an individual could use Balefire. Theoretically then, 2 people could just be using Balefire every turn, and as long as the third person doesn't use Balefire 3 times, the game doesn't end. If Balefires are the only way to kill people (possibly besides a lynch) then I don't think a reincarnation rule would be necessary. People will probably be at least moderately conservative with it, so if not too many people have it, that would probably be between 0 and 2 kills/cycle. I personally would be surprised if it averaged out much higher than 1. This would also make the game last around 2 weeks, which is a tad short, but still MR length. I'm also going to hazard a guess that there is no elim faction this game. Edit: I don't even think we know that Balefires kill people at the moment. I'm not sure what else they would do instead, but it's possible.
  10. Well then. I have no idea what is going on. I'd give it a 51/49 chance that the lynch doesn't at least outright kill someone. However, I'm not going to vote on myself just in case something bad happens. Idk what else to talk about really so... I guess I'll vote on Charcoal Hyena (ninja'd, hi Mouse!) Edit: @Charcoal Hyena
  11. Yeah, no, I was actually busy with stuff. It really bothers me when people use shard activity in SE, it's way too meta.
  12. Okay, sorry for my temporary inactivity, In regards to me not using my action, that's because I forgot. If I was an elim, wouldn't it have been smarter to pick a role like Lightweaver, Windrunner, Skybreaker, or Elsecaller. Meerkat.
  13. Axolotl literally cannot be the last elim. They posted an Edgedancer message, which means that they couldn't have used the kill. I had a Dustbringer role and had no idea what to do, so I asked Albatross. If I was actually an elim Dustbringer, it would have been better to just kill someone instead of asking Albatross and potentially putting myself in a situation where I'd have to choose between losing Albatross' trust and killing one of my teammates.
  14. Onyx is the other confirmed person. If he survives the night, he'd be immune to any vote manipulation that the elim has. Also, it's kind of suspicious that you once again have a role that you can't really prove without wasting a valuable village action.
  15. I would suggest that we lynch Kangaroo, as we have no way of proving their action (since they never talk) unless they're an Edgedancer. Axolotl, what's your role this cycle? @Salmon Meerkat what's your role this cycle?
  16. @Violet Axolotl @Sage Kangaroo what actions did you take last night? BTW I'm a Bondsmith today.
  17. Here's a list of people who have claimed roles for this turn: -Me, Willshaper (no proof) -Albatross, claimed to me in PM, up to them to say it in the thread -Meerkat, Elsecaller (provable if there's a Dustbringer) And people who haven't: -@Onyx Flamingo, one post this turn -@Sage Kangaroo, no posts and if they did post it would probably be nonsense as usual -Sunburst Toucan, pinch hitter, has posted in thread, PMed me to ask about the game so far (did they PM anyone else?) -@Violet Axolotl, has posted in the thread More thoughts: -Why haven't there really been any Skybreaker scans announced? If you scanned people, please announce it in the thread, we're fairly close to solving the game. -Sage Kangaroo is a very annoying situation to deal with. It'd be nice if someone could scan them. TBH though, killing them wouldn't make that much of a difference, considering how little they provide to the thread. Have they PMed anyone else? They PMed me near the start for RP reasons, but didn't talk about the game. -For kills, I wouldn't recommend wasting a kill on Meerkat. It wouldn't even prove that they're not using the elim kill this turn.
  18. @Sunburst Toucan, would you mind telling the thread what you're going to do tonight, or at least telling someone else in a PM?
  19. I think this is a good idea unless they're a Skybreaker. BTW, I'm a Willshaper but I didn't use my vote manipulation.
  20. I think this is referring to the passive part of the Edgedancer role. @Elbereth @Fifth Scholar would submitting an anonymous message count as an action?
