  1. I don't know what an Orchan is, but I'm pretty sure Jai would take offense to that. It was about noon when the arguing began in the main square and market. People began gathering and shouting, accusing others of being the killer. Jai headed over, because arguing meant that they weren't paying attention to their sphere pouches. The guys, at least. The women had theirs in safe hand pouches, and pick-pocketing that was nigh impossible without them noticing. He had tried. Sure enough, he came out with a nice pocketful of glowing spheres of various colors. Then, he headed to his next target- the bakery. Leaving the square full of squabbling, Jai walked to the bakers open stand. Sure enough, as always, he had left hot bread out to cool. And as always, Jai took one of the loaves. The man should really have learned better by now, even if it was just to actually bother to watch the storming bread. Ripping a chunk out of the bread, he headed to his next errand- another street kid. One who actually knew how to read stuff. "Pst. When's the next highstorm?" He asked, tossing her a large chunk of bread to get her to respond. "2 days, in the evening," she mumbled. "And the Boys are after you again." Storm it. He would need to find a new alley. 2 days to find shelter? Great. He sat down by an inn, chewing the rest of his bread, and considering who might let him take shelter during the storm. Blacksmith was dead, the rich people were out, the innkeeper had whacked him with a staff last time he had tried to stay there, the baker would hate him for stealing his bread each day, and of course he had to avoid the Boys. There was always the stables around town, but those were stinky, and he would use them only as a last resort. With a sigh, Jai headed back to the center of town, to see if he could find someone who might not hate him yet. Then, he realized he had forgotten something- the spheres. Stupid. He quickly ran back to his alley, and found the blanket undisturbed behind the loose stone. He deposited the spheres in the blanket, wrapped it tight, and tied the loose part around his waist. Then he tucked the part with the spheres into his pants. Best to be safe. Back to the arguing crowd he went. Jai waited by the wall, almost hoping someone would notice him. But no, they were too busy. So he scanned the crowd, waiting to spot a person who might be willing to give him shelter during the highstorm.
  2. Hey! Glad to see your... toothy smile! I'm just referring to everyone by their animals, not their colors. another idea is to create a hard copy paper of all the names, and write down notes. It does help for me, because honestly how else is a Beagle supposed to keep up?
  3. Um, coral swan is by no means nonsensical. Alvron spent an entire game spouting bobbly-gook that ended up being game related. If you want distracting, try dealing with that. The problem with what we're doing is that we are going after someone who's actually talking. As poke votes probably don't make a difference, chartreuse penguin Mint Heron . Minimal activity isn't great for the village, and is exactly what I would do to avoid notice in such a large game. @Mint Heron can you please contribute more than a short quip?
  4. By pure probability, Gecko is probably village. But we do have to start somewhere. However, I'll be keeping my vote on Penguin unless they show up.
  5. Ehhhh... I'm pretty sure I know who Dragonfly is, and they are a new player. I'd be inclined to let a new player go for now, and lynch them later. Killing them day one isn't the best way to integrate them into the community.
  6. Anyway, as someone was trying to say, only a few people haven't said anything yet. Since Everyone else has at least said something, i think we should concentrate on the lynch. I think having one vote on a bunch of people might be a bad idea.
  7. Glad to see more people have shown up! I'll make an updated list of who has shown up in a few hours. As for day one lynch, given how many people we have, we need to get the killing started, as wonderful as our colorful little Zoo is. However, I don't have any suspicions yet, and am therefore more than happy to encourage activity whilst waiting for a proper target to pounce on. Woof. As for guessing who players are... I don't much see the point. Yeah, its nice to figure out who's behind the anonymous account. But doing so does not figure out who the elims are. I already have several suspicions of identity, but I don't feel the need to point it out, because it's not really important.
  8. Jai crept through the town, avoiding notice while munching on a lavis bud he had stolen from a stand. Whispers flew around him. "Murder... Blacksmith." Jai shriveled inside. The blacksmith was dead? He had often taken him in during highstorms. He would need to find a new person to take shelter with. As long as they understood that it was only for storms. Otherwise, Jai was his own man.
  9. Why in damnation are there so many lizards? You couldn't have done a Platypus, or a whale, or a butterfly or something? Anyway, here's whos reported in so far. I just shortened to the animals because honestly. If someone ninjas me I will throw a fit. Scorpion, Mouse, Hyena, Swan, Tuatara, Falcon, Beagle, Ostrich, Dragonfly, Albatross, Dingo, Flamingo, Chameleon, Iguana, Kangaroo, Elephant, Gecko, and Gorilla. That leaves Vulture, Penguin, Weasel, Crocodile, Heron, Lion, Rhino, Zebra, Meerkat, Octopus, Toucan, and Axolotl. I'm not sure how much tagging will do with these anonymous accounts, though. Thankfully, pinch hitters exist, so that's good. Wow, it's been a while since I've seen THOSE.
  10. Obviously you're the Ugly flamigling all grown up and beautiful. Great. My complaints are simply a joke, although I seriously have no idea what color Chartreuse is.
  11. Very cool role, very cool. you can only see the Elimination forum. I was hoping to be able to double up upvotes on the GM posts, but it seems I've already been out-thought. Jai woke up, and started to his feet, prepared to fight whatever had woken him up. The cloth he had been using as a blanket fluttered to the ground. But it had just been the sun. He breathed to calm his heart, and tucked the cloth behind a loose stone. Best not to lose that. Out into the street he went, to figure out what he would eat today.
