Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Chartreuse Penguin well that's quite the post. And no, I'm not hero, but i find it hilarious you think I might be. I would have thought some people would have figured me out by now, but *shrugs*. If there was an elim in the PM, i would suspect Albatross. But... they haven't given me any actual reasons to think they're elim. They were the only one in the group who did not share their role, but there may have been other reasons for that, Idk. Your points are extremely intelligent. This is exactly what I'm trying to encourage. And, i just got ninjad, and I don't want to lose this post.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
A couple more things. First, i had already posted explaining what happened in the PM, although not in as much detail. But seriously, i feel like I'm repeating myself a lot. Second, perhaps I have been too defensive of Flamingo. But I'm really paranoid, and I don't want to lose the only people I trust right now. I would much rather lynch people who I'm actually suspicious of. Third, I've been waiting for someone to point out the paradox of me encouraging activity and other opinions, and then rejecting said opinions. I had noticed it, but I wasn't about to point it out. Anyway, the way i explain it is thus: I was planning to encourage activity, elim or village, before the game started. That does not effect my in game thoughts, and I'm still most trusting of my own conclusions. I don't like to rely on others analysis, and I'm generally suspicious of others opinions. Yes, I've been wrong multiple times now, but I would rather I be wrong, when I know I'm village, than have the village get led on and never kill those who I suspect. I've considered I'm being too much of a mayor, but... idk. Again, you guys choose what to do with me. I've already given my list of reads, my major suspicions, so I dont have more to say besides- BE ACTIVE.- 1054 replies

@Quartz Zebrawell we would have gotten hard info if they had turned elim. Which I really thought was going to happen. Also, I'll reiterate that Ivory never got on to comment on that original PM, before anyone asks.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, i have a few things to say. First, I'll admit how weird the end of day 2 looks without the context of the discussion we had in PMs. Second, my crackpot theory that the lizards are all elims is disproven. Not like i ever thought this would be that easy. Third, for what it's worth, i am most suspicious of Gecko, Weasel, Ostrich, and Meerkat. And to a lesser extent, Crocodile. I'm tempted to want to have the Dustbringer kill me, but at the same time, i don't really trust the judgement of other villagers (even though my judgement has not exactly been much better so far, in regards to finding eliminators). So, Dustbringer, please kill wisely.- 1054 replies

What...but... he was village? That's really, really not good. That means 1. We really need to find an eliminator soon. 2. I screwed up, again. 3. I'm going to need to redo all my analysis. All of it. Crap. Also, Orlok, i always read the write up. And give upvotes.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
No, i did have to restart the PM. I actually made that mistake, and Orlok corrected me lol. but would Onyx be able to fake that on their first game? I find it more plausable they're an honest villager, and not a huge IKYK elim move. Also, seriously Tuatara? It would be quite interesting if I could bring villagers in the eliminator doc, in a game without alignment changes, and a game where I'm not an elim. Also, Quartz, at this point I'm feeling you as village. I'm also not asking you to not consider all the options. But at some point you gotta take a leap of faith as a villager. If we lynch Tuatara and they turn elim, that shows Onyx is more likely village, and im more likely village. We can't afford to spend time eliminating probable villagers if we want to win this game. We've gotta lynch the sketchy ones, and right now Tuatara is looking sketchier and sketchier.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It was me, Ivory, Onyx, and Albatross, and I brought in @Sapphire Elephant a little later (hey, where are you? We need more villagers involved!). The next person I would have brought in would be Vulture, I'm feeling pretty village about them. Albatross also shared some good things on why Onyx is probably village in our one on one PM, specifically how they are demonstrating "progression of thought." Elims already know who's village and who's not. But villagers are constantly evolving their suspicions. (Actually, because of this, my theory is that albatross is amanuesis, but that really doesn't matter). A brief summary was this, i made the PM and said "I trust you guys, I'm almost sure that Onyx is village, i want to switch the vote to a better target." We discussed for a bit, and we ended up voting on Axolotl. (Ivory did not get on by the end of the day to see the PM or get involved.). Then, Axolotl did their thing, we all went "oh crap we can't lynch them." And then we switched to Swan.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ok, there were two PMs. There was my original PM, i made one with everyone. You got one too. Then, later, i formed a PM with all the people I trust. It was in that that we arranged to keep Ivory alive. It was in the original PM that I gained my village read of Ivory, just him and I. And it's not just the role that helps me to trust them. Sharing your role to a group takes trust. Ivory expressed a village view point of death, and I made the choice to save him. He did not initiate it. But I decided I wanted to keep villagers that I trust alive, so I wouldn't be working by myself. Guys, i know there are some confused villagers out there. Please trust me that Ivory is village. But if I'm right that Tuatara is an eliminator, this lynch will reveal so much. Those who defended him are more probably eliminators, and those who attacked him are more confirmed villager. So this lynch will not lack for information.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The difference is I know I'm village, and I was almost sure of the villageness of all people involved in the last lynch. Also, as I've said multiple times, the only reason we turned on Swan is because of what Axolotl posted. Otherwise, I'm very much against that kind of thing. I'm also going to share my somewhat crackpot theory, which there is a reason I haven't shared it before. Essentially, i see the possibility that all the lizards are eliminators. The whole reason Tuatara is suspicious is because of how little they've said, right until they get accused. Onyx is village because when he was going to die, he entrusted his notes to me through PM. Would an eliminator really bother to take the time to do that? Would they honestly? Honestly I was waiting for someone to defend Tuatara, because eliminators don't want their teammates to die. Yes, i know what I did yesterday, but in context of my trust of Onyx, and my suspicion of Swan, what else was I supposed to do? Let a definite villager die? No.- 1054 replies

I sense a vote to save Tuatara, and I'm getting uber suspicious. Very, VERY suspicious. This vote has become close enough that the elims could manipulate it. I am really sure of Flamingos villagerness, and this counterwagon is off to me.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Jai was starting to be noticed. They looked at him oddly. Why did they listen to him, a kid? A street orphan? He had stolen the slouchy pale guys curry, and when he went to the baker's stand to steal his bread, there were two loaves. Jai narrowed his eyes at this. Was the baker trying to be generous? Jai took both, and left a few dun spheres. Infused ones were better anyway. Suddenly, the slouchy pale guy pointed at him, and started shouting. "He stole my curry! He's a murderer!" Jai regarded him with an incredulous look, and then did the natural thing- he threw the hot curry in the man's face. Jai cackled as he ran away.- 1054 replies

I feel like I have a good thought process, but I'm also kind of tired today. Him going from "meh posts" to expressing unsupported suspicion of me is suspcious, on top of his other behavior. Regarding Ivory, i stress that I know who they are, and that the reason they know terms like WGG is because they went back and read old games to understand the game better, which I applaud. Again, i feel like I have more to say, but I'm really tired and so I'll wait until I can phrase my ideas without sounding like an idiot.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
First off, i hate the term "PM empire." What I wanted was another way to generate reads- which worked- and talk to less actives- which sometimes worked. Also, what information will I give? Yes, i have some good reads on people, but just because I'm village doesn't make me right. That's half the reason I'm trying to encourage activity anyway. Furthermore, i find it likely the elims would try to lynch me rather than kill me, for the same reasons stated above at some point. So I'll be keeping my vote on you. also, i looked through your posts, and it's amazing how little you've said with your posts. It definetly looks like you're trying to avoid attention.- 1054 replies

Hello hello, I've been busy, so I haven't said as much as I wish I could. Yes, i am a little miffed that they killed Octopus. However, they also never answered my PM. Also, if I were elim, would I really draw such attention to myself? I really, really wouldn't. Right now I'm going to vote Cream Tuatara for blatant non attention to the write up, and the weird thing where they said they wouldn't vote unless something big happened.- 1054 replies

Ok, i think there's a good likelihood I will die tonight, so I'm going to share a complete rundown of what I think of each player.1. Amethyst Scorpion- leaning slightly village, due to gut read. Unsure of anything else. 2. Azure Mouse- leaning villager. 3. Amber Vulture- leaning stronger villager, but I'm not 100% sure5. Chartreuse Penguin -neutral. Has been too inactive to make any reads. 7. Cream Tuatara- leaning possibly elim. They haven't contributed too much, and seem to be just staying out of the spotlight. 8. Emerald Falcon-neutral, hasn't said enough. 9. Fuschia Ostrich- slightly elim, has been avoiding attention. 10. Indigo Weasel- leaning village, based on our PMs. 11. Ivory Dragonfly - I trust Ivory completely. He's very village. 12. Magenta Albatross- their PM is very village, so they are in the trust group. Specifically, they shared what happened in the bird PM, and I don't see why an elim would share that with me. 13. Mauve Crocodile- slightly village, but hasnt been active enough to truly tell. 15. Mint Heron- neutral, has been too inactive. 16. Onyx Flamingo - Squawk- very village, also in trust group. Every thing vibes village for him. 17. Opal Lion- slightly elim, based on his Bandwagony attitude.19. Pearl Chameleon- slightly elim, for how they are hiding in the background. Talk more! 20. Plum Rhinoceros- stronger elim, but they've also posted so little. 21. Quartz Zebra- hasn't posted a lot, and some of their posts seem outdated, especially the analysis at the end of day 2. I'm not especially worried about that, so neutral read, because it's probably due to business. 23. Sage Kangaroo- slightly villager, given accusations and posts. 24. Salmon Meerkat- slightly elim, based on gut read and the willingness to throw doubt at me- not that that couldn't be a villager thing. 25. Sapphire Elephant- also in trust group. Our PM was very village, i trust Elephant. 26. Scarlet Octopus- no read, has been too inactive to tell. 27. Sunburst Toucan - Vanna- no read, seems to be avoiding attention. 28. Taupe Gecko- no read, but could be elim. Needs to post more. 29. Turquoise Gorilla- slightly village, based on our PM. 30. Violet Axolotl- I'm pretty sure they're village and it's probably best to let them be for now. now I have to go to work, so good luck. Ill see you tomorrow, if I survive.- 1054 replies

Not everyone felt so bad about lynching axolotl... oh. Well then. Opal Lion was the only one to vote on axolotl after that post. They edited the post it was in, but it was there. Possibly alignment indicative? Idk. But frankly, today was a stressful day. So I'm going to go to bed. Don't worry about me pulling something like that again. I'll probably die before then, and I wouldn't want to. That kind of circumstances does not show up very often, plus I won't even be able to be on at rollover anymore.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Oxblood Beagle replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, it wasn't great, but did you see Axolotls post? I didn't want Flamingo to die, so I considered Axolotl a better target. But after he posted... well I'm not a heartless monster, elim or not. That made it less about the game and more about the person. So yes, at that point a last minute turn-around was better than lynching Axolotl. If you feel like you could have lynched them after what they said, that's your issue. But I didn't feel it was right to lynch someone for an emotional breakdown. So I went with the next best option I had- Swan. Clearly, it didn't work as well as I would have hoped. Also, Albatross is one of the ones I'm pretty sure is village. Their PM expresses some great points and very villagey stuff.- 1054 replies
