  1. You sent me a message and instantly asked for a role claim. What did you want me to do? (Besides claim, of course. That would be silly to someone I've had no interaction with)
  2. Well, I was going to post some thoughts on things that had happened during the night but part way through the thread closed and I lost everything that I had been working on. Essentially what I had typed up was that I was lost and confused by this game, didn't have enough time to read through what had already happened, and say that I trusted Rhino and Penguin. That's 100% fair. I honestly haven't even checked the filter rules, but I am going to try to be more active. The fact that the shard crashes on my phone makes being consistently active a lot harder between school and work, but I think I've gotten my schedule figured out enough to have at least 30 minutes of time to spend on this a day. Hopefully more, but who knows. Generally I just copy what someone else has said, write whatever I want on the end of it because it will Auto-become red, and then delete what they said. Current thoughts: I've honestly just been overwhelmed, and incredibly annoyed by my posts getting deleted after I've typed them but before I can post them. It's infuriating. But my current village reads are Rhino and Penguin, and I have a bad read on Ostrich, but I'm pretty certain that is simply because they started the votes on me. I can't think of anything else that they've said recently (I can't think of things that most people have said recently), but I'll take a quick look through their recent posts. Okay, I'll keep that in their for a look at my thought pattern, but most of their posting history seems to come off as a villager who is quite engaged in working towards the end game. I have a pretty solid read on them now. As I'm pretty much out of time I guess I'll be throwing a vote onto @Ivory Dragonfly Dragonfly for now. This is more a poke vote and a very soft gut read, but we might as well get something started (that doesn't end in my death).
  3. I have tried to post this 3 times and I keep losing it. I am annoyed. My phone no longer will load the shard without crashing, I will only be able to post while I am at home. Mouse 1.0 D2 Voting: Mouse had a PM with Chameleon starting on January 5th, and on the 8th Chameleon gave some reasons for Mouse 1.0 to vote on Iguana, and they agreed. My read was that they were a newer player/an uncertain player who didn't know what to do and went with the first option provided them. I had other things to post, but I'm honestly just quite annoyed that I've already typed it up two times and it's gotten deleted so I'll just post this for now.
  4. I look forward to your further thoughts and will be putting my vote here for now to keep the pressure up. Pearl Chamelion
  5. I decided to try and read through the rest of the this game to be on equal playing field with the rest of you but there are 37 pages of gameplay and I just simply dont have time for that sorry I think im going to spend a bit of time poking around in PMs trying to get a read on things there, and then come back to the thread once i have a better grasp on the other players. Gamestate thoughts: 8 players dead out of 26 puts us at 18 players remaining Probably an Elim team of around 5? Two dead elims leaving us with 3 or 4 left out of 18 which is looking pretty good in my opinion Not having looked through the history much of the game is it expected that there is an elim coinshot besides the mistborn that just died? My guess is no based off of the amount of people dead being pretty standard for night 4, but I could be wrong. How were Hyena and Gorilla found? Was there anything specific that stands out about how they played? If there is anywhere youd recommend I go look to get a feel for them besides just everything they posted then let me know
  6. Hey everyone going to be attempting to catch up on everything thats happened so far, itll take a bit. But Im alive!
  7. I’ll vote Iguana. (Don’t read my last minute vote as suspicious. I’ve just been trying to work out everything in my mind)
  8. So..... Kind of. I literally slept the whole day IRL. (Kinda ironic with my first post) I’m a bit overwhelmed with everything going on. Ummmm.... I’ve gone through and read everything at least twice. Am I processing it? Not really. I honestly don’t have any convincing opinions on anyone. I feel like people are over-reading the whole thing with albatross. As for iguana, I’m confused why people are voting for them. I just read through and couldn’t pinpoint anything specific. Anyone care to make a short summary of why they are voting for iguana? I feel bad about not voting, but I also would feel bad about voting for anyone without a semi-decent reason. Anyone have any fairy wings?
  9. *blink* * blink* Helloooooo?? Helloooo? Hel- Oh. Um, I overslept again didn’t I? Hmmm that was quite the dream. Need to write that one down in the dream journal. Something about unicorns allergic to hay I think. Well, looks like I’ve missed quite a bit. Eh, it’s all fake anyways according to my dream last week. What else could those pink puffy pikachus pouncing on the poor puppies mean? Does anyone have some fairy wings I could borrow? My therapist keeps trying to convince me that they’re just mayfly wings BUT I KNOW THE TRUTH SHARON!!! She also keeps trying to get me to stop drinking my enlightenment potions. I keep reassuring her that the ingredients that I got from the guy in that really creepy alley are all certified for consuming. The guy told me so himself. He was also really weird about me telling where I got those leaves from. He said he would find me and “get” me if it took the rest of his life to search? I gave him my address so he wouldn’t have to spend so much time looking. What a funny guy. Guys!!! The world is spinning again! It’s happening!! Oh wait, nevermind, I just haven’t eaten in a few days. *munch* *munch* *munch* Well... that was disappointing.
  10. Fumesh gazed at the gem, the same as the one he'd found several weeks ago. The same spren that now lived in his gemheart, the spren whose power he controlled. No - the spren who controlled him. He'd let it in, made it a part of himself. And it had changed him, like every form did, for better and for worse. And, if he were honest, for this form it had been quite a bit worse. He'd taken the form because he thought them doomed to failure. To death. But... was serving under Odium's rule truly better than death? Knowing your children, and your children's children, and your children's children's children would be doomed to live and die at the hands of the god of hatred? No, he thought. It was when everyone turned to look at him that he realized he'd spoken aloud. "No," he repeated, half to himself, then again, louder. "No!" He stood up tall, speaking to the Rhythm of Resolve. He could feel the spren inside him fighting the words, clouding his thoughts. He fought through anyways. "I will not. We will not." He'd thought the group would fall easily, once he'd taken this form of the gods. But that hadn't been what had happened. First the Fused had fallen. Then one of the spies. Then another one. The singers were coming together and fighting back. "We might die," continued Fumesh. "But to return would be worse than death." He stepped forwards and plucked the gem from the traitor's hand. With a clench of his fist, the gemstone shattered. "Life before death," he intoned. "Strength before weakness. Journey before destination." With a sound almost like a sigh, the stormspren in his gemheart left. The two spren rose like bolts of lightning into the air and faded away.
  11. Well, I received PMs last night from Scorpion, Vulture, and Weasel. Everyone's actions are accounted for... except for yours, Flamingo. I'm down for a 24 hour cycle. I started midway through and it still feels as if this game has gone on forever.
  12. Tuatara was Workform, so one vote got removed. We still have two Mediationforms.
  13. *blink* ...k then. Care to elaborate? I'm going to vote Tuatara, because I agree they are more likely to be evil. I am suspicious that Flamingo has not yet been killed, however. Something to note is that Lion was softing Mediationform, right as another vote appeared in the VC- the elims may have targeted him at least partially because of this.
  14. (Disclaimer: this is PURELY RP. I've always wanted to roleplay an evil person as a villager. ;P) Fumesh blew apart a rock with lightning. He could feel the storm coursing in his veins, begging him to tear through the camp as an incarnation of destruction. But another voice told him to be patient, to wait... his time would come. His allies would emerge from their disguises among the ranks of the traitors, and join him in bringing them to justice. For their own good, and for the good of all singers, the voice told him. And wasn't it fun to destroy, anyways? But another voice, deep inside, whispered that he had made the wrong choice. That he was the traitor. That forcing people to fight a war they no longer believed in was good for no one. It wouldn't have worked, he responded. Even without us, it would have fallen apart. He glared at the ground, where Zure was looking up at him pitifully. One of these days he was going to fry that creature and eat it for dinner. But he did not raise his hand to strike.
  15. If you've been suspicious of them all game, why didn't you vote for them D4? I accuse you of being an eliminator, Heron.
  16. (In terms of RP, Fumesh did take the gemstone, even if I failed.) Zure scampered through the camp, shivering off the rain. Her stomach felt painfully empty. The big nice one hadn't given her any food since he became a big mean one. She couldn't help feeling that it was because of her he wasn't nice anymore. It made her feel strangely empty inside, in a way that wasn't hunger. At least he had mostly ignored her so far. Some of the other big ones had tried to catch and kill her earlier, when they caught her stealing food. Even so, she could tell he wasn't the same anymore inside. A crunch sounded from under Zure's foot. She sighed in relief. Food. She settled down to begin to eat, wary of any big ones coming in that would try to kill her. It had been a mistake to listen to that spren, she decided. If she ever got home, she was never leaving the mountains again.
  17. You know, I've been wondering something. Vulture was no longer Scholar when I made the elim gem. Why were people talking about elim gems being created?
  18. So Azure Mouse grabbed Scholarform D1, as people have figured out. I assume they intended to manufacture an elim gem if one never got given to them, but then dropped off the face of the earth. So I assume Mouse's reins N3 and immediately attune the gem. (Vulture is likely telling the truth about Scholarform/Warform; only Warform had been researched.) I researched Scholarform and then Stormform on N4, intending to take the form N5. Steel added some flavor text to my GM PM about the voidspren looking at me from inside the gemstone. It was a very good line... and I, being the idiot for drama that I am, immediately responded with "I attune IT". Completely forgetting that I had also just created a gemstone that Steel had also mentioned in the PM. I should have known? Why didn't I respond? I knew it might be a bad idea! I thought to myself "you should probably clarify that". But then I had to go and completely forget about it and not log into my anonymous account until two minutes before the cycle was posted.
  19. ............................. I.................. I submitted the action. But it was ambiguous. It got denied. I wondered if my action was too ambiguous, but I figured I'd wait for Steel to respond... but he wasn't on for another 7 hours. I'd already forgotten about it at that point... by the time I realized, it was too late. Half an hour too late. I failed.
  20. Fumesh sat alone besides a fire. The storm in the camp had died down, for now. A highstorm was no time to fight. But while the highstorm might wash away the blood on the ground, it could not wash away fear or distrust. Come morning, everyone would just go back to arguing, and fighting... and killing. How many singers would die at the hands of the spies? How many more by the hands of their fellow runaways? Fumesh was just so tired. Tired of secrets and arguments. Tired of the voice in his head, when he looked at his companions, whispering: they could be the one to kill you. Tired of huddling under whatever shelter he could find in a highstorm, wondering if the spies were coming for him next. He sighed, his breath causing the fire to flare up. From his pocket, as if in response, came a squeak. Zure poked its head out, pushing a sphere in front of it. The gemstone fell down and rolled to a stop in front of him. Fumesh stared at the sphere. It whispered. He'd kept it hidden. If the others had seen him with it, he had no doubt he'd have been the one strung up on the rocks. But no one had. He picked up the sphere. Its whispering had grown louder, recently- the spren inside begging him to draw it in, make it a part of himself. Fumesh had captured it in the chaos following the last storm. He'd realized what it truly was, and he knew- if he gave into its demands, it was all over. But perhaps it was over anyways. The stormwall appeared on the horizon. Fumesh stood up, clutching the sphere in his hand, and faced the storm. His fire died, blown out by the coming wind. Fumesh attuned Resolve. The stormwall hit. The Rhythms merged. Fumesh's gemstone shattered, red lightning flickering out towards his chest... ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ʙᴀᴄᴋ, a voice said. And then everything changed.
  21. WPGXVXVIPRCFEGOO ESZRUGIINUTQTKKT TATYIMSWLALCUXUZ CVPODJTYWSGTGSGV NZXVFIFPNLDAOWYX EDMMCQIAESRBTFUD If I had been Mouse C1, perhaps I would have grabbed artform.
  22. All this gemstone analysis is making my brain hurt. I hope you know what you're doing, because I certainly wouldn't be able to call you out if you made a mistake. I agree that we need to take a closer look at the chaos that happened last turn... The thing that stands out to me is Heron's voting behavior. TL;DR Heron has been inconsistent in their votes and with opinions expressed in PMs. Fumesh huddled. It was said that the storms were sent to cleanse the world of war. Sweep away the corpses, wash away the blood... make it so as nothing had ever happened. But the storm had been powerless against the storm that raged in the hearts of these singers. You could see it in the way they glanced at each other, sharp enough to cut stone. The stormwall hadn't broken, not yet... but it would soon. Fumesh almost wondered if there even were spies. The singers had done a well enough job killing each other in broad daylight- who's to say a few hadn't taken up settling their grievances in the darkness as well? He petted his furry animal and fed it another crumb. It, at least, he could count on.
