:{( Time is a pain. Anyway, this has been a quite cycle. Sorry for posting so late in it. First off, going to update my list of reads: Amethyst Scorpion - Update since last cycle - posts seemed useful. Probably a slight town lean. Amber Vulture - Update - still sorta neutral. I may need to revisit after doing others, or consider the broader context of the posts to make a better judgement. Emerald Falcon - Hmm.. 7 posts. Think that's the fewest so far... 1.0 was not helpful. 2.0 has been here a week, but has come across as being pretty confused the whole time. The only post of note is this cycle's. A bunch of psychobabble (albeit useful psychobabble). The advise to properly consider votes while avoiding confirmation bias is fair. But then all they do is just poke Scorpion, so not adding all that much otherwise. Really hard to give a read one or another. Fuschia Ostrich - 1.0 is a bit random, and gave no useful info. 2.0. We've only had a couple of days of them, and they've only made around half a dozen posts in that time, with very little content. I appreciate that it's hard to catch up on everything - I'm struggling to get coherent thoughts of everyone and I've been playing the whole game. Tone makes me a little uneasy maybe, but not enough to shift my read of neutral. Indigo Weasel - There's something about their tone that I don't necessarily like. Hard to pin down though. Really don't like their vote on Meerkat though... (Day 4) probably slight maf lean. Ivory Dragonfly - Magenta Albatross - Mauve Crocodile - Mint Heron - I'm getting a townie vibe from Heron actually. I haven't paid them much attention, but I see they made a PM safety now, which actually sorta explained why it was a problem, unlike some of the one line comments I got at the start that weren't very helpful. Seems they're maybe suspicious of Penguin, but I'd like to hear more about their suspicions in general I think. Onyx Flamingo - Pearl Chameleon - Not necessarily super active, but their posts have all been pretty high quality so far, and have been sharing their opinions. Probably leaning town on them. Plum Rhinoceros - There's a bit of a slow start with their posts, but they've seemed to pick up some momentum. They're doing some good analysis I think. Leaning town. Quartz Zebra - Some good content and analysis - reading town on them. Sage Kangaroo - Sapphire Elephant - Sunburst Toucan - Violet Axolotl - Is probably voting randomly and pretending there's some logic to it. The vibe I get is that they're probably village, but have decided to use a time efficient strategy that is detrimental to the village. Hmm. Again, out of time. Half a dozen still go through. Don't think I'm seeing the Scorp lynch, so I'd be more likelys not to vote Weasel, who as I say above, I have a slight maf lean on. But given it's slight, and there's a fair bit of time left on the clock, I'll hold my on them till closer the end of the cycle - I'd rather not contribute to a vote now and potentially discourage aditional discussion and other lynch options.

Still got a fair bit of stuff to get done, but I've got a bit more time for the moment anyway. As far their response to Heron's post - I can appreciate where Heron might be coming from, because I've felt it a bit myself - I promised to give some analyses in a timely manner a cycle or so ago, and told people to poke me if I wasn't. I didn't get poked though, and then you feel like, "I'm town, but if the others are ignoring me, then what about any lurking mafia? They must be slipping through the cracks too. You know what, I'll remind the town that I exist and that they have to pay attention to the lurkers". I know I've posted with that sorta idea in my head before too. Unsure about my thoughts. Maybe slight maf read, but it's very close to neutral. Edit - Out of time, so I'll finish the rest when I can. May or may not be this cycle, but should definitely be able to get it done by next cycle this time. Then I might actually be able to be a bit more useful.

First suggestion of evil dustbringer. Votes Weasel for acting like how Scorpion has as mafia before. Night 2 - Asks about PMs leading to Swan lynch. Day 3 - Welcomes PMs, after our Edgedancers died. Apologies for not doing promised deeper analysis. Says will try to keep active but won't be super analytical. Joins in the Tuatara lynch. Night 3 - Comment about needed sleep before next lynch. Unhapy they helped lynch a villager. Hopes the Dustbringer has better judgment. Thoughts: They could probably do with posting more, maybe posting some thoughts on some of the living players. For the moment though, I don't get any sorta mafia vibe from them. Hmm. I've already spent a long time on this, so maybe just one line thoughts... Amber Vulture Looking solely at their posts, I don't see anything to sus about them thus far. Sorta more a neutral read still. And... I'm out of time for the moment. Off the top of my head, I'm leaning town on Zebra, and I think it was Dragonfly, though I'd need to check that one. I'll try get the others up at a later point this cycle, when I can find the time.

@Quartz Zebra I did say I intended on voting. Looks like Tuatara is still in its 2 vote lead. I think I'll put my vote on Beagle though. They've sorta made me feel uneasy about them the whole game so far. I keep flip-floping on if it's a town or mafia lean on them. The PM thing does push me more into the lean maf side I think...

So, I can see the case for the Tuatara lynch. I don't disagree with the lynch, but I'm also not feeling it enough to put another vote on at this stage. Also, I appear to have missed Dragonfly's vote on Tuatara somehow. I think @Salmon Meerkat could do with posting some reads on players - as far as I can tell, their posts have been mostly summarizing things to have happened with not a lot of commentary who they think is village or not. @Plum Rhinoceros It's been 3 days since you posted, and you've been online within the last 24 hours. Anyway, I've got to go again. Haven't been able reread everyone's comments. I'll want to post readings on everyone, but don't think I'll be getting that typed up this cycle. We'll see. Of the main 3 lynch options, the amount of votes about reflects my suspicion of them - I think I'd go with a vote on Tuatara over Flamingo, and a vote on Flamingo over Vulture. I will be on prior to end of cycle this time, and I'll put a vote down then - the last few cycles have had stuff come up really late, I feel, so at the moment, I'm okay with the lynch but don't want to unnecessarily bandwagon, and I'll wait to put down a vote when it'll actually make a difference (the 2 vote lead seems a nice distance to be relatively safe from vote manipulation). And I'm promising a list of reads next cycle. Definitely poke me if you think I'm forgetting it.

Only ever received a single PM from Beagle, so I can't really comment. I thought you were wondering about if Opal was the Dustbringer kill or not, but I guess this was about if the Dustbringer is village or not. The mafia having two kills sounds pretty unbalanced... Apologies - I didn't say I was going to be busy, but it has been so far. I've had a read through of the thread to see what people are talking about, but I need to have another reread to pay more attention to suspicions. I had planned putting a vote on Opal because I didn't like their bandwagon vote. Can't exactly do that anymore. Gonna poke @Taupe Gecko again, but I know it's been busy, but it's been closer to 2 days since your last post. I Won't be able to do the reread just yet though. I aim to get that done in a little while (but before end of cycle - got some more pressing matters to attend to first).

Hmm. Not sure I understand what the problem with Swan's post was. Maybe they shouldn't have voted on Flamingo but equally, I don't think it would have made much more sense for them to vote one else involved. Still, if Beagle, Albatross, and Elephant (@Oxblood Beagle was Weasel one of the people you were PMing?) were trying to prevent a Flamingo lynch, which I do understand (I also am getting a town vibe on them), their votes do make some sort of sense, and I can forgive Flamingo for trying to save themselves. Don't like Lion's vote though. Vote 6, when Flamingo only had 3 - there was no danger of vote manipulation at that point, and bandwagoning for the sake of it is a bit suspicious.. Ooops. Time got away from me a bit. But gonna try do a read through of the game so far, and give some thoughts, maybe. I'll just be typing here as I read, so if it's a bit of a ramble, oops! :{P Probably already said this, but I disagree with not having a D1 lynch, and relying on vig kills is a bad idea in general. Sure, in theory you could hope for a Cop to find the Town Vig, form a trust group, and start taking out everyone else, but that's not a particularly fun way to play a game. It's also very slow, and you're unlikely to get enough people on board. Sigh... As much as the idea of RP'ing all posts is a cool idea, it gives me a head ache trying to remember to whom the names refer to, and actually trying to extract the important info from posts.... I like Coral Swans thoughts on D1 lynches though. [Spends quite awhile rereading through the game, taking notes, but needs to do more passes over the game in more detail, possibly focusing on specific things to be able to post any proper analysis. Don't think I'm getting that done this cycle though...] Hmm. D}: I did decide on an RP name (think it's Corral Swan who I said I'd work one out to, but Saffron Iguana was doing player lists?) - Hermux Tantamoq, from the book "Time waits for no mouse", shall be the name. Although it'll be more a character name, because I'm not sure if I'm up for doing any RP... :'{( It's a pity we lost an edgedancer, not that I realised they were open during the day. I certainly didn't get included in any... Going to need to catch up on what happened last cycle though. There was a lot of talking... I'll come back and, edit, I guess(?) if I have stuff to say and no one else has posted yet.

I figured that the chance of dying immediately and not getting to participate in a game of mafia is just how it goes. Some times the town decides it's not your game, and that's okay. Some one has to die first.
