  1. Poked Vulture D1, their retraction words felt weird, something along the lines of "Glad you're here now-" Also just realizing, Vulture PMed me and asked what I thought of Iguana. Not sure what to make of it, just dumping the info here. An additional information, I have not been ID/meta solving this game at all. In fact, I don't think I know anyone's identity other than Mouse.
  2. What exactly about my tone do you not care about? As far as I can see, my tone when I was speaking about you has been pretty normal. The vote exchange between you and Tuatara was quite weird in D1. Also seemed there was familiarity between you two. You had been strangely obsessive over Tuatara in D1-N1, seemingly poking but when Chameleon mentioned they found Tuatara Spiked, you went on a strange tangent asking them about how sure they were of the read and discussing about other inactives. In addition to that, I'll add to someone's point. You stayed away from the entire Vulture argument last cycle. Your voting last cycle was - Heron, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Heron which is weird considering the discussion was mainly around Vulture, Heron, Chameleon and Albatross. Can confirm Penguin sent a message to me asking me if I was the Seeker. Meaning they believed the Mistborn claim to some extent. Seeker searchers are always a bit suspicious. Looking at Vulture's posts prior to surviving the first hit - Important to note in Spiked posts is when they group a bunch of players together and make a distinction or a differentiation out from one of them, it usually hints at the presence of a Spiked teammate in that bunch. In this instance, they group Dragonfly and Penguin together but makes it a point to condemn Dragonfly with an addition statement. They end this post with a vote on Dragonfly as well. Not a good look for Penguin. Village - Scorpion, Meerkat, Chameleon, Zebra Lion, Ostrich, Beagle Swan, Crocodile Spiked - Iguana, Penguin, Elephant, Albatross
  3. Just a reminder that as long as the Spiked believe they can control the Coinshot or atleast think they are in the Coinshot's ears, they're not likely to kill the Coinshot. I say this because I think Dingo's vote on Iguana hints at familiarity between the two of them. Iguana To investigate Penguin further, I'll need to know the players who knew about your reaction test before you claimed Mistborn in thread, Chameleon.
  4. Not blindly but I was asking to see if I missed something important. Apparently not since none of them bothered to explain the case on them. My catch up was quite quick. I am so confused. Where was a flash when you needed one?
  5. I am not asking because I am against a Heron execution. I am asking if I should be on ittttt.
  6. Also because I need someone to explain the case on Heron to me because I don't know why a single one of those exists right now.
  7. Because my whole theory goes away if they have actually claimed Thug prior to this cycle. I was on the assumption that they were doing things on a whim.
  8. Huh. Magenta Albatross What exactly is the case on Heron? If it's not the E!CS thing.
  9. I'm up for Albatross by the way. I do think their effort seemed a bit performative. But I really think Chameleon is much more suspicious than people are thinking.
  10. Why? If they thought Heron was the Coinshot and they are evil, they could have just killed them in the night. Why bring it up in the thread and then give reasoning that they think Heron is Coinshot to vote on them. That doesn't make sense.
  11. @Fuchsia Ostrich I said I'll be back in 12 hours because I was heading to sleep and excepted to be awake a caught up in that time, but unfortunately, I overslept and as a result my day ended up being busier than expected. So I'm being condemned because.... I said I'll be back in 12 hours and wasn't? Some points I thought of while catching up ->Why would the Vulture shoot claim to Zebra? -> Funnily enough, I think Meerkat is my strongest village read right now. -> I think if Chameleon is evil, they've been distancing from Penguin. I'm still confused about everyone else but let's look at the Chameleon timeline of this cycle - They start off the cycle thinking Meerkat is an LHF, thinking they'd be easy to execute. States Mouse as a reason for the vote on Meerkat. I think EVERYONE forgot about this - This is followed by anyone who's been talking privately to Mouse denying this and actually stating the contrary. I can add my side as well, Mouse had at least strayed from e!Meerkat during the cycle. Immediately following players coming out claiming the information regarding Mouse was false, Chameleon claims Mistborn. You all thought it was weird they claimed that early in the cycle. I think it was a pre-emptive freak-out. Follows this up with a self-vote. Starts the "Penguin is elim" parroting. Walks back the Mistborn claim with a Thug claim. Thug claims are always deterring the village as it is seen as an "effort" to kill the claimant. Also mentions the possibility of a Rioter. Recall my case for them last cycle where I thought they showed signs about knowing something more the way they danced around VM. Then goes on to defend themselves for the rest. The whole cycle has been a topsy-turvy change-of-face from Chameleon. Their reasoning that they wanted to get NK'ed is really not worth all this hassle. If they wanted to get NK'ed why not claim in the night? Why not claim last night? Why not claim last day in fact, when they were up on the chopping board. The simple answer is they freaked out after making a case on Meerkat. And pre-emptively claimed Mistborn. Then walked it back with a Thug claim to hinder any votes on them. Pearl Chameleon
  12. I also find it weird how Heron's activity suddenly picked up near the end of the day. Looks like they're tryning to save someone.
  13. I am so confused. Why were people condemning Iguana? Perhaps there was something missing from my notes indeed. I didn't get it. Random votes without reasonings always seem suspicious. Now that Beagle has also condemned Chameleon, I'll keep my vote there but I'd rather Hyena die over Meerkat.
  14. "I'm sure it wasn't deciding to live react but the content of the reactions themselves. For example, I find myself particularly confused as to why you'd mention 'lots of vote manipulation' in a cycle that gave us the night flip."
  15. I flipped through my notes searching for the evidence Iguana was asking me. Yes, there it was - "It seems like they're a worried villager but the reaction feels fake. The second sentence feels more authentically matched to be 'There better NOT be whole load of Mistborn or Seeker', Spiked mentality but masking it as village-sided. "Why do they mention vote manipulation here? Comes off as worried about it even after the wrong vote count was corrected almost 1 night prior. Hints at the fact that they might know something more [something like Spiked distribution being complementary balancing to lots of village vote manipulation] if they're STILL thinking about it." I turned away, confident in my answer. Memories stitched themselves together a lot better now and I could speak with more conviction. Thinking about the recent discussion, I realized I really liked Vulture's case on Flamingo. I took out my book and made an immediate note about it.
  16. Flash I am holding an etching pen and sitting in front on a mirror, with blooding oozing out of the line currently etched on my chest. Leo. Tyrian Falls. Spiked. I glance at the pages in front of me and start freaking out. I don't remember who I am supposed to condemn. I read the pages once more but there is no indication of one exact name I intended to etch. I look at the last three names - Pearl Chameleon, Quartz Zebra, Charcoal Hyena. I make a deduction. I take a leap of faith. The other two names began with curved letters. The etched part is a single line. I take a deep breathe and make the decision. When I'm done, the etching would read Pearl Chameleon. *** Bang. Bang. Bang. Someone's at the door. I've only been back since I took a walk across the town. The villagers were a witness to my public condemnation of Chameleon as these walks were usually shirtless. It's Chameleon who's at the door demanding an explanation. I do not need to look into my pages again. No flashes since my last read. "Perhaps I glossed over this when I stated it to the villagers. But you feel like someone who knows the Spiked distribution and are freaked out about it and as such feel the need to know village distribution as soon as possible."
  17. Memories right after waking up in the morning are weird. Is it like just after the flash? Do I remember some things just prior to waking up? Or do I pick up where I left off last night? What about dreams? I don't have answers to these, but it doesn't matter, because re-reading my notes is a must. Given the recent revelations, I can perhaps add tidbits to the notes I've already made. "Finally making my mind up about Iguana, they're village. Upon re-read, the specific part - 'it felt like an elim trying to talk to villager' feels like it's coming from a villager's mindset." "Dingo voting on Iguana quite a while into the first day for sleeping for 17 hours doesn't sit right with me. People had spoken a lot [7pages worth of content], there should be something more than a poke. " "Mild defense of Meerkat from Chameleon. Noted." "I have decided I do not like the phrase "reasonings to be given upon request". Why should it be requested? Why not proffer it up in the first place?" "There's just something about Chameleon's posts that makes me trust them lesser and lesser. Currently past null into the Spiked territory. Past-Leo, what were you thinking?" "Also unsure about the village read you had given to Albatross previously, Past-Leo." "Chameleon talks like someone who has more info about the distribution than a villager." "Feels like there's no way a Mouse team kills Falcon in N1. Future-Leo, this statement is based on ID assumptions. Give weightage to it accordingly." "Zebra is weirdly fixated on deciding Falcon was Coinshot." Let's not be hasty with our etchings, I don't think there's a tattoo removal place in this dreadful town. I do think of people here in terms of tiers. Maybe not conventional but they are very clearly bunched into a group things, of which I'll be making a note off. "Mouse, Iguana and Scorpion make up the group of 'mainly, firmly village - minimal fishy stuff'." "Vulture, Penguin and Beagle are 'have not been feeling firmly village but they've spoken quite a bit, some of which feel like villager words'." "Ostrich and Lion belong to 'have not been speaking a lot, but they feel like they have a pure heart'." "Albatross and Flamingo form the 'I think there's something wrong with them but I'm not exactly sure of what'." "Tuatara, Weasel, Crocodile, Rhino, Elephant, Heron and Dingo need to 'TALK MORE'." "Swan and Meerkat are 'saying quite a bit but their net words amount to confusion for me'." "Hyena, Chameleon and Zebra have the 'highest possibility of being evil'." Having completed my thoughts on the paper, I sit in front of the mirror, etching ink and pen ready, and look at the final group of names written. Making up my mind and choosing the most suspicious among them, I begin etching - I Flash
  18. If there was a movie title that could describe my life perfectly, it'd be Dazed and Confused. Too many people are talking and my head is hurting so I'm heading back to sleep. Let this be a problem for future-Leo. "Future-Leo, nothing to report during the night. Conversations are recorded, go over them during the day. Gunite."
  19. I was finally getting the hang of things, even with the awfully patched memories of mine. I just hoped really really hard that none of my notes were compromised. Just when my mind was drifting with my thoughts, I realized someone had been calling out my name. It still took a while to get used to responding to 'Leo' instantly. I blinked, trying to think of the reasons I thought Hyena might be Spiked. I flip my notes to search why past-me would have thought so. But there was nothing more than the original quote "Hyena stinks, check if he stinks in the future as well". "Well, I assume it wasn't anything particular they said but I think there's something fishy about them." I hated being asked questions, and even worse I hated answering them because I always sounded like I lacked conviction in my statements as I'm always relying on my past-memories to read people. But it is the only way I knew to function and I am doing the best with the cards dealt to me. Having answered Iguana's questions, I continue making notes before another flash takes these thoughts away. "Initially, I had attributed same level of trust in both Scorpion and Chameleon, but Chameleon's recent statements have made me re-think that position. I think I still trust them but not to the degree of Scorpion." "Magenta Albatross comes across as a very genuine person. But this is also largely down to a 'feeling' and not particularly something they said. As someone great once said - 'trust but verify'." It seems someone else was demanding his attention. He quickly jotted down their words and thought about it. Hm, it seems Vulture is reading Swan as a new player as well in addition to Meerkat. There is a fundamental disagreement, then. "This is where we disagree Vulture. I don't think Swan is a young'un. In fact, I don't even think Swan is posing as a young'un. I'm not quite sure where you're getting this from, I am not able to see it. If you think so for the sole reason of Swan's Smoker claim, I beg to differ. Immediate claim is not necessarily a characteristic of a young'un."
  20. I look around a find myself in an unfamiliar place. It always starts the same way - groggy, disoriented and ringing in the ears followed by the immediate thoughts of absolute nothing. After all this time, I've been conditioned to look for marks of self-vandalism on my body, an act to hint at the current state of thoughts in my mind but as I roll my arms I find nothing. Panic begins to arise within me because the one certain thing I do know is that I mark the things I should know on my body. If there's nothing... In a break of sweat, I remove my shirt and it's the same thing. Bare as the day I was born. I hurry, trying to navigate through an unfamiliar town I had arrived for reasons I do not remember, trying to find a place to stay, and more importantly, a mirror. Flash. Groggy. Disorientation. Ringing. Nothingness. I am now standing in front of a mirror, shirtless. Mirror relaxes me. But there was always something to be seen, right? Something to be read? There's nothing now, which fills me with dread. I turn around - hoping, praying there's a sign to hint something about my current predicament. And there it is, etched on my back. "Leo" "Tyrian Falls" "Spiked" "History Erased" I breathe a sigh of relief. That was it, some meagre indication of anything. Even a speck of information was reassuring. 4 words or phrases and I had almost formed the story. I looked around and quickly jotted down the information on a piece of paper. Papers were unreliable, easy to alter and manipulate, but I cannot be seen etching into his skin in public, so it'd have to do. Patting my trousers, I found the tool I guessed was used to etch markings on my skin. I quickly asked around and etched my current place of residence. Flash. I am currently standing among people who are arguing which only adds to my confusion. My head hurts but I pretend and try to pass of as normal. I feel like I do this a lot. I look down and I am clutching a piece of paper. "Leo" - which I guessed was my name "Tyrian Falls" - which was probably the name of this town "Spiked" - is self-explanatory and if that wasn't enough, it was evident by the argument of everyone around me "History Erased" - also evident from the lack of markings on my arms. The words that followed were seemingly names and detailed descriptions of what I can only assume to be the people of this town. It seems I am conducting an investigation of my own. Perhaps related to the "Spiked" written on top. I go through my note, looking for discrepancies and any hint of it being tampered with but it doesn't seem so. The information is quite detailed with excerpts of conversation and what I had thought of it. Some of the current conclusion draw my eyes. "Amethyst Scorpion and Pearl Chameleon seem to be quite honest. Please note for any drastic change. They feel like they are in the similar boat to us." "Salmon Meerkat seems too young to be involved in talks but that is not enough to ascertain if they are Spiked or not. A Spiked imitating a young one would still appear young." "Hyena stinks. Check if they stink later as well." "Some people are not really saying anything, They're just arriving at the townhall and pinning up posters of things they are trying to say, which are difficult to interpret but among them, I think Azure Mouse appears good." "Beware of people jumping on Salmon Meerkat. If they are young as I perceive they are, their playstyle will make it easy for the Spiked to jump onto them." "I feel like there's something performative about Ivory Dragonfly. Keep an eye out for them." I reached the end of the page and there wasn't anything conclusive on the rest of the people. I watch and listen and observe for a while, scribbling their conversations and making notes. It is becoming increasingly evident that Coral Swan fit the narrative the note earlier which said to be on the lookout for people jumping on Meerkat. Having taken enough risk to wait this long before forming the decision, I write three names in large letters and box them in - Coral Swan, Ivory Dragonfly, Charcoal Hyena Flash I am sitting in front of a mirror. I think this happens quite often. I feel calm. Resolute. My chest aches with the burn of a fresh carving. On the mirror, on my chest, I can see the words Coral Swan etched in red.
  21. OOC: I have to play this game on Mobile for the weekend. My activity is going to be spotty. Wasing the being of being. Ising the being of being of notting. Notting the being of ising the voting. Being the notting but the being of ising. Being the trusting of being. OOC: I couldn't get a read on anyone. I like RP, but couldn't track the votes. Mostly just Day 1 noise. Got distracted 15 minutes before rollover, and didn't post. Notting the ising of being. Howing the knowing of being? Ising the notting of nowing. OOC: How do you know someone has vote manipulation? That seems like a slip up.
  22. OOC: Any chance of a vote count oh mighty GM? I'd do one, but I'm on mobile
