  1. My read from last turn: At the point Penguin hadn't voted at all, but didn't move to break the tie between them and Albatross. That could have been an elim trying to avoid the suspicion of breaking against a villager, and preferring a tie where no one dies. Or giving a teammate enough time to break the tie for them. I'm willing to vote on Falcon as well, as they were another elim read, but didn't feel a train in the first few hours of the turn would be super helpful. We need discussion more at this point than a solid exe.
  2. This could be a double-edged sword for Mavset-im, though. If they knowingly take over an account active in lots of PMs, they run the risk of being caught for suddenly not PMing. But I do wholeheartedly agree with PM safety here. Stay active in PMs, but don't reveal information you wouldn't want falling to Mavset-im in the event of the the players involved gets taken over. For now, I'm going to vote Penguin again.
  3. Read list, because things are too quiet and I haven't been helping that much lately. This early in the game, there are going to be a lot of null reads. Amber Vulture - Village lite. While I strongly disagree with the arguments they had made, I don't think an elim would use that tactic to go after a villager. Amethyst Scorpion - Null/elimish. They haven't said a ton. One of their D1 posts seemed like an overreaction to a train forming on a poke vote, which could indicate an elim worried they'll be targeted for starting a train on someone who flipped village (or that they accidentally started a train on a teammate with a distancing vote). Azure Mouse - Null/elim. They posted a single time on D1 and said they'd be willing to switch sides if given the chance and elims were winning. My elim lean might be more out of a distaste for the "win first" kind of attitude conveyed in that single post. I'd like to see more activity, or just let the filter take care of the question here. Charcoal Hyena - Null/village. Hasn't said much in the last few days, but made some pretty good points D1. However, they did suggest claiming if you failed to get a gemstone which could be an elim trying to narrow the pool of possible targets. Chartreuse Penguin - Elim lite. They've made a few villagery points at the beginning, but their ambivalence to the exe last turn still seems weird. See my reason for voting them last turn. Cream Tuatara - Null/elim. Suggested claiming and then said what they were planning to do. Otherwise, hasn't posted much at all. Same as mouse, though they may be just active enough to avoid the filter. Emerald Falcon - Elim lite. Probably opposite team as Tuatara, unless their first post was distancing. It feels weird that the reason they gave for not liking Tuatara's suggestion to claim is that claiming a thug role creates suspicion. Why is the worry about creating suspicion rather than narrowing elim targets? Fuchsia Ostrich - Null/elim. Posted once on D1. Not sure I like their suggestion of not using Warform until later. That seems like possibly wasting gemstones if someone holding it gets killed. Or giving a chance for elim forms to destroy it before it gets used. Same as mouse, want more contribution or let a filter take over. Indigo Weasel - Null. Has responded mostly to direct questions and comments, but not much outside of that. Ivory Dragonfly- Village lite. Their suggestions and input seem honest villagery. Melon Dingo - Null/village. I'm still a little suspect of them for some of their voting, but outside of that, there hasn't been much that's added substance to my suspicion. Mint Heron - Null/village. Their contributions have been pretty villagery, and seem to be tunneling a bit on Tuatara. Opal Lion - Village lite. I know I probably shouldn't, but I think I trust Lion the most. Their interactions seem honest and seem to be trying to help the village. Also, they're one of the more active players, which we need more of. Oxblood Beagle - Null/elim. Their vote on themselves last turn was weird. Outside of that, I haven't seen anything that's glaringly elim or village. Plum Rhinoceros - Village lite. Another like Lion, where I seem to trust them because they seem honest and are one of the more active players.
  4. Unless the elim is among those in the tie. Though I tend to agree with you. Ties are not beneficial for anyone if no one dies. And yet, I'm going to risk getting closer to a tie. I'm going to change my vote to Penguin (Dingo). This is true, but as of Penguin's last post, there were several hours (and still are a few hours) before rollover. Plenty of time for things to change or teammates to step in and vote Albatross.
  5. I'm not a fan of basing exe choices on meta reasoning of the possible player. Lots of people in anon games would intentionally shift how they speak to intentionally throw people off their real identity. Part of the fun of anon games is not having people judge you for who you are as a player, which is especially the case for older players with reputations. I read this as an older player who hasn't been around a ton since the change in SE meta.
  6. Did they speak? Edit: I see what happened now. I'll vote Dingo for now. Their defensiveness seems odd and I don't see the actual reason for voting Rhino.
  7. I seriously need to start actually reading things. Sorry for adding what's already been added.
  8. This has been clarified. It's not absolute priority, but the percentages are weighted towards villagers.
  9. With the number of votes compared to players, the statistics would suggest you are correct. It's pretty likely there was at least one elim on all the top trains, though, since elims don't generally like voting together unless necessary.
  10. If it works anything like Kandra in past games, the previous body (original Mavset-im account) dies, but the player removed is the original owner of the new Mavset-im. All those PMs would close because that account is dead. Edit: I'm tired. I just realized you asked if they have access to the new Mavset-im account's PMs from the previous owner. My guess is they're still there because they can be in PMs, they just can't talk. So that might be something to look for. If someone suddenly stops talking in PMs but is still active in the thread, it could be insane Mavset-im.
  11. I'm curious as to why you'd vote Dingo along with Rhino when Rhino is second on your suspicion list. Swan
  12. The first two are easy for elims to cover for each other (not a good idea, but possible in a pinch). Workforms are required to vote, so their votes won't be disappearing. It's also fairly common for many players to vote every turn no matter what, so that'll be difficult to tell. I'm hesitant to agree with the suggestions to claim gems. Doing this openly gives elims a better look at who to avoid targeting or to actually target to get rid of a power imbalance. Mediationform, for example, is best if people don't know whose vote is doubled. Warform is most effective if elims don't know who will survive. Even PMs are more effective if elims don't know who to target to get rid of a potentially dangerous one.
  13. so, octopus time?? i've heard that they're probably an elim at this point!!
  14. what if i just put my 2 cents in and took the whole jar?? i swear i’ll give fuzz their money.....eventually.....hehe
  15. what is even happening now?? i am so confused!! but also think this is really funny!! hehe
  16. okay, so this is very bare bones!! i haven't had much time to closely pay attention to this game, though i will have time to do a deep dive into all of the past cycles and stuff soon!! these are just the things i remember off the top of my head!! amber vulture: i know you've posted things, but i have no idea what they've said!! null amethyst scorpion: again, i know you've posted things, but they've given me very little impressions. null azure mouse: i have been pming this person for awhile, and i know they are a non-shard!! i trust them because they are very much in a position where it would be very hard to have gotten this far without getting caught in a lie!! i don't think this person deepwolfs often either. so strong village!! charcoal hyena: survival, and i think it's been fun to read their poems!! i hope you achieve your wincon!! coral swan: don't know much off the top of my head, but i do like their recent post(s) about not messing with the neutral!! null, maybe slight village! cream tuatara: they've basically been inactive, which would be unfortunate for their teammates if they were an elim!! null fuchsia ostrich: almost certainly used to be odium!! i doubt they are still, since they would've known they would be protected by mercy and could therefore survive the removal to pass their shard!! absolutely positively an elim!! indigo weasel: have they posted?? if so, i remember none of their posts. null ivory dragonfly: i think they've posted a decent amount, but i don't remember what it was. null magenta albatross: they've posted occasionally, but not of much substance. if there's an elim hiding in the less active players, this would be my first guess!! null, leaning elim melon dingo: almost certainly ruin, and therefore village!! this is the one role i highly doubt the elims would ever start off with!! onyx flamingo: village opal lion: prudence. and either they're doing a very good job of tricking us, or they're village!! pearl chameleon: don't remember much of what they've said. null quartz zebra: so, the fact that they've stayed on fots for most of the game is a little sus to me!! either they're a very paranoid villager, or they have a reason to want that vote taken off them. mild elim saffron iguana: i don't know why, but i'm just getting really bad vibes from this person!! it's just gut right now, but still leaning elim sage kangaroo: probably village, based on what happened d1!! sapphire elephant: autonomy, and i hope you finish your wincon!! scarlet octopus: i know they've posted a decent amount, i just can't remember what it's said!! null turquoise gorilla: almost certainly invention, so i hope you can complete your wincon!! violet axolotl: i trust this person a lot, both based on the d1/d2 stuff, and because of pms and what i know about their role!! strong village i've colored the names based on how i feel about my read of them!! if you can't tell apart the lighter or darker greens/reds, just lemme know!!
  17. i’ve been meaning to ask for days. I’ve just been really busy. :((
  18. that’s true!! forgot about that!! rhino, ostrich. also, @Opal Lion i’d appreciate a pm with dingo!!
  19. well, i sure missed a lot!! i think i’m gonna leave my vote where it is, in case we get mercy’d!! though i do think the evidence is pretty damning.
  20. i’m voting on rhino!! they are one of the three players that could’ve been invested by hatey boi, and i trust the other two!!
  21. i'll go ahead and switch my vote!! axolotl gecko i meant to earlier, just got distracted!! hehe
  22. to be fair, i got a little excited and was thinking of saying this before i even realized that the shadesmar eight were also possible killers/hatey boi!! preservey boi told me in the last cycle who they were investing, and i saw no kill and was like “oh we caught someone!!” I’m starting to realize that axy boi isn’t really all that more suspicious compared to the shadesmar eight. oh well.
