  1. You haven't lived if you haven't self voted at least once. Updating this to: Mint Heron (4): Amber Vulture, Quartz Zebra, Amethyst Scorpion, Oxblood Beagle Pearl Chameleon (2): Chartreuse Penguin, Pearl Chameleon Amber Vulture (2): Fuchsia Ostrich, Salmon Meerkat Amethyst Scorpion (1): Coral Swan Chartreuse Penguin (1): Opal Lion Mauve Crocodile (1): Saffron Iguana If the side trains wouldn't mind consolidating to push us out of vote manip territory, that'd be appreciated! Again, I don't necessarily think your picks are wrong, we are just limited to one exe per day!
  2. The person who shot them doesn't want to be identified (or if they do I'm sure they'll PM you), but for what it's worth, I trust them! They made a good case for it, that I've mostly rehashed in my earlier posts today! Beyond their read of the player, it was a shot across the bow at the peripheral players! Being unremarkable might mean you get killed, that's how it goes! Aren't we currently voting Heron? I think so! #trendsetters My bad for making it about roles, but you not being interested in using as information for yourself to use when evaluating Vulture is still an odd reaction! Tbf this game is pushing people until someone acts surprisingly invested, and you acted surprisingly invested around the same time Heron came under pressure! At this point it's a vicious cycle and we just need to consolidate on a pick and get the result! I'm willing to explore Penguin later, we still have time to sort through the suspect pile if we hit dead ends! To that point, it's better to get the Heron flip than the Cham one because it results in a flip! I think it's time to place your vote and see how the flip goes, whatever Cham says rn won't make a lot of sense either because they're evil or because they're not thinking straight as a villager! It's not worth pushing them much further! There should be enough information to make your decision now without putting Cham through the wringer!
  3. Can confirm Cham started the cycle PMing us saying yooo I want to do the gambit Mouse designed! Ostensibly to draw a NK! In retrospect, it could well have been performative since gambiting = villagey to most people and they needed the cred. They didn't have a strong vision for the outcomes they desired from the thread beyond maybe I'll get NKed, so it wasn't even a reaction test, technically. They then spent 24 hours convinced of e!Meerkat, which I can't repeat enough makes locking in on Penguin with no self doubt at all seem fake! Will also note that I've heard Vulture claimed Thug, and when I directly PMed Cham about it with the argument that two village thugs seems unlikely, they weren't having any of it! Which is NAI, keep distro talk out of it if you want, but would it not be tempting to go down that road! Unless you know Vulture will flip village and you're the elim in that pair! Cham only started the Meerkat push when Heron came under pressure, so that's the best way to test this without directly shooting Cham! Heron might be a high value target if they're this committed to saving them!
  4. He hates you. No, this it's progress! We've revealed this person only has two suspects! Might as well put it out there that the reason I've soured on Chameleon is they made a passionate argument for killing Meerkat all of yesterday in PMs! Only after the group it was in made several rebuttals did they back down and self diagnose as having been 'tunneling'! I find their lack of self awareness now that they've latched onto a new shiny toy they are convinced is evil unbelievable! There's at least five elims and you refuse to consider anyone but single suspects in a vacuum! If you're convinced Penguin is evil, then build on that and tell me who their teammates are! It reads more as protective of other people under stress, such as Heron, without wanting to tie themselves to them in case they flip! Grabbing this Cham quote from page two, we see some lovely FUD! Their whole strategy is to push a better target and claim opposing wagons are distractions! Again, locking in on one person makes little sense when multiple choices could be correct!
  5. I too thought there were 22 players, so we can potentially revise our elim player count upwards as high as six! That elim doc must be a zoo! The implication is you could all be correct! But I am instinctively distrustful of those who lock in on a single target because that's easier for an elim to do than creating a broad suspect pool without a teammate in it! Your perfect target means nothing if you can't get consensus! So could we all please post a list of people we'd be okay voting for! Bonus marks if you list who you won't exe that is up for death! Would vote: Heron Cham Vulture Wont Vote That Has Been Discussed: Scorp Meerkat Iguana Beagle
  6. It has come to my attention that Vulture was attacked by a Mistborn, which dampens my e!them theory! Them biding their time to prepare a statement remains a bad look though! So you're just going to delete the post you were working on? Yup! This post of theirs is still worth looking at though, if you have V!Meerkat, e!Heron feelings, beyond the gimmie reads, it's the pinnacle of their dodgy reads and votes so far this game, in my opinion! As for Heron, I'll take Cham up on their offer of a round up of who was on at EOD D2! In a v-v wagons world, the elims being disengaged for most of the round then suddenly present at EOD when stuff started getting crazy is predictable!
  7. Elim doc NK discussions are a good reminder of what time it is! Bedtime, for you. Lion's reaction to Mouse's reaction to their D1 vote is a villagey look! I'm glad we got the Mouse flip because I was sitting on a paranoid theory about that whole thing centered around comparisons to AN11 Hyena, but I don't think it's worth getting into unless we hit a dead end! A WGG is more viable when e!Mistborn rands Lurcher they didn't need, but the opportunity cost of the wasted kill (also from an e!Mistborn in this scenario) isn't worth the upside of the trust it develops! Postulating that a Mouse kill would always be read as evil, they'd be relying on us assuming the second kill is also evil, which is a stretch in this environment! The question for Vulture is how did you survive! If via protection, why self protect rather than save someone more trusted! @Amber Vulture
  8. NINJA'D. Per my edit, Vulture is in my sus bucket! A lot depends on whether their protection role is a surprise to those who received Mouse's intel dump!
  9. Because you failed at your job. I'm very compelled by the perspective slip from before that indicated e!you, re: PM paranoia! Village: Albatross, Beagle, Scorp, Swan, Lion, Ostrich, Flamingo, Iguana Positive: Penguin, Meerkat Null: Tuatara, Weasel, Crocodile, Dingo Uhhh: Kangaroo, Elephant, Vulture Elim: Rhino, Heron, Chameleon
  10. I'm a little worried about how confidently these control kills have been made! Ostrich said they'd protect Mouse, and others advocated for their protection! That screamed weakness, no? Maybe! But it's an uncommon kill profile to take that risk! But if you assume e!Lurcher, they expose themselves by taking the shot! Same with a mole in Mouse's inner circle! Ironically, it feels like they took a gamble rather than acted on insider information, likely knowing Mouse surviving an NK wouldn't change how they were treated, trust-wise! Night voting appears villagey, so I like you! But why Beagle over Heron, I might ask!
  11. Mouse mentioned a Thug claim, so I'm guessing that was it! A village Lurcher has better targets to protect, so Vulture either benefited from an elim one or is an unaligned Thug! Why don't you go ask Mouse who the claimant was? I'm sure he seeded that information with someone!
  12. The IKYK appears to have failed. I'm surprised they took that shot! We appear to have a shooter and a slightly used Thug in our midst! Heron
  13. @Indigo Weasel you need to try harder! I was blatantly vote baiting at EOD! Just want to clear that up so no one shoots me for being erratic! What if they shoot you for another reason? That'd be fair! I chose to vote Hyena because then I wouldn't have to solve them! The Scorp and Iguana wagons made no sense to me!
  14. They deserved it for being a Smoker. Heron! Why did you assume PM shenanigans and not evil scheming!
  15. Actually having second thoughts! Is it too late for a Kangaroo exe! You shouldn't have left this until the last minute.
  16. I feel ignored. Wanna get rid of Iguana, I might ask you! No explanation will be provided other than gut!
  17. Ties are fun. Can't say no to the gift horse that is the third option either! Penguin Iguana
  18. Zee is prone to secondary stress. I'm fine, it's fine!
  19. Not a lot has changed since I previously explained my reads on them! Swan uncharacteristicly voted and Penguin said "from my POV they're V-V" which feels scummy! I do need to look at the others on the list... eventually! I'm actually leaning village on Flamingo now! It feels bold to copy Ostrich's method for getting village read as a gambit, and bold to assume your readlist is worth preserving, so I see them PMing it to their trusts as villagey! Am I correct in thinking voting doesn't come naturally to you, is a question I ask! I would like to know what compelled you to vote D1! Will note that I had forgotten Seekers exist, so anticipating them is slightly elim indicative to me! Saffron calling Falcon evil a lot shortly before they were NKed is more village indicative than odd, unless you suspect they tried to vote them off then turned to night killing them when they realized that wouldn't work! Maybe it's because this style of analysis isn't new school SE meta, but I don't see it as being very productive! My assumption is that a fear kill at this stage would be based on reputation and position rather than the threat they pose to individual elim team members! I genuinely appreciate the role you're playing, but it is possible to over-do the pinging! If I'm pinged, I tend to skip to those posts, which stresses me out before I get the chance to read the thread chronologically and actually develop ideas to share! Do you have a better approach? I'll get back to on that! Sounds like you're deflecting from the work you're supposed to be doing. Didn't you promise to read Vulture and Hyena? It's easier for me if we kill the person I've already identified as evil and come back to those later!
  20. Sometimes! It's more fun to sacrifice your posts to the Void. Presumably the elims internally highlighted who the consensus villagers are when discussing the NK last night! In that light, Heron having the audacity to produce this read seems very villagey! Updating my reads list: Village: Albatross, Rhino, Beagle, Scorp, Heron, Mouse, Lion, Ostrich Reluctant village: Iguana, Cham Null: Vulture, Hyena, Tuatara, Weasel, Crocodile, Dingo, Flamingo, Kangaroo, Meerkat, Elephant Elim: Penguin, Swan
  21. *squints* I have trouble telling birds apart! Ostrich Forgot to mention, good vibes from Chameleon for having the confidence to ask me to read them N1! Penguin The way I'd do it with an OOA where kills happen at the same time is to flip a coin for which would be expressed! You should continue this conversation, it's very productive. Bleh!
  22. If you had died, what did you think I would do with a no-context reads list, is a question I might ask you! My theory is a coinshot shooting Falcon at the same time they are NKed simply results in the writeup we received! It's a shame there's no way of finding out how that situation would be represented.
