  1. Ostrich. The evidence against you is too much not to join this train. Are you trying to counter my claim on Ruin? I’m pretty sure it’s not possible for anyone besides me to be Ruin, regardless of the content of my GM PM, simply because I’m the only one who could’ve destroyed both Shadesmar and Ashyn. If this is not supposed to be you claiming Ruin, let me now, otherwise... it’s another reason to come back and lynch you next cycle.
  2. I like this. I trust you, though your vote on Ostrich leaves some things to be desired. I would like to know your thoughts behind it. If not in thread right now, in PMs? However, I do disagree with you about one of Kangaroo/Iguana being an elim. Knowing their roles, I find it extremely hard to believe they would be OC, if only for balance reasons. I find it even more unlikely that’d I’d be on the same elim team as them, because I’m sure everyone has figured out that I’m Ruin at this point. I was the only player, besides Ivory Dragonfly, to be on Shadesmar for the first two cycles. Also, my RP characters name (Niru Drash) is an anagram for the “Shard Ruin.” Oh also, the only players that were with me on Ashyn last cycle were, Onyx Flamingo and Pearl Chameleon. Me and Flamingo were the only ones to talk, and by that I mean two lines of text. Don’t know what that means, but you’re welcome.
  3. Rhino I agree that Azure and Rhino could both be elims, but I trust Mouse quite a bit due to conversations in PMs.
  4. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many people vote on one person... it’s quite funny. Would’ve been less funny if they weren’t an elim.
  5. Well, considering all my Shadesmar PMs are gone... @Opal Lion, O’ Great Prudence, please grant me PMs with Saffron Iguana, Violet Axolotl, and yourself. ———————————————————————————————————— I fled one broken land to go to another. Though, the scale of destruction between the now non-existent Cognitive Realm and Ashyn was quite far apart. At least there were still bits and pieces of Ashyn left! How unthoughtful of Ruin to not leave anything for us to play with! The best part of murder was being able to play with the persons flappy bits when they were dead... and I assume it’d be the same for a place as grand as the Realm of Thought. Well, there’s nothing I could really do about this, much to my discontent. What was the point of all this if my great legacy was going to be overshadowed by the destruction of Shadesmar! None will remember me, Niru Drash, when they think back upon these events. They will only remember that Ruin destroyed that place. Would anybody remember... me? I fell to the cracked ground of Ashyn. And I felt tears roll down my cheeks. The grief that filled me was shocking. I’d been empty so long, void of any true emotion. Looking at myself, a quote from old Warbreaker himself came to mind,“However, compared to nothing, it seemed infinite.” Was this what it meant to be human? ———————————————————————————————————— Well that wasn’t originally what I wanted to do with this RP... will Niru fix his insanity? Probably not...
  6. Quite interesting conversation we have going on here. Very important to the game.
  7. Hyena please finish your poetry, or I’m afraid you will be removed. (Only a joke, please don’t murder me.)
  8. This isn’t confusing to look at. Nope not at all!
  9. I am rather blunt, “I think,” as the great Sazed would say. (Does that count as a quote O’ mighty GMs?)
  10. Both of these seem... fishy to say the least. Looks a lot like an elim desperately trying to find Cultivation. Sure, the plan has some warrant to try and fix Prudence. But in my honest opinion, I think PMs aren’t as good as everyone thinks they are. In the last game I played, there were many people only giving their reasons for voting as “PM reasons.” This reluctance to share information only hurts the village. To be honest, the only use of PM’s is just to roleclaim without letting the whole world know. Even then, it’s generally not a good idea unless you have a strong village read on the person. So, I’ll put my vote on Opal Lion. I don’t think many will join me in this, but their last two post seem very suspicious. ———————————————————————————————————— I was shocked by audacity of the one who called themselves Remy, and I’m insane. Some might say that my audacity was greater, as I believed that private talks weren’t any good—against popular opinion. But what can you do when you’re as great as me? It’s to much to ask for lesser beings to understand the mind of the great Niru Drash! Some might not think I’m great, because like old Vasher once said, “...what lord would wear a drab brown cloak, ripped in several places? What lord would sport bruises from a bar fight, a half-grown beard, and boots worn from years of walking?” Though, I didn’t really fit all the descriptors of that quote, I did like to make art out of my own blood. Maybe that’s why people always gave me weird looks and a wide berth... hehe...
  11. I walked around Shadesmar once more, taking in the darkness. The negentropy of the places between worlds was really something, one could really appreciate their own thoughts. In moments like this I, Niru Drash, usually could only think one thing, “‘I am FREE.’” In a slightly different context then what the original speaker was in, but the sentiment is relatively the same... hehe. My silence was broken by a... hehe, accusation? How rude. I come here to help kill Odium and one of the first things I’m told is that I’m working with him... I can see why Rayse would want to be done with these people! However, me and these lesser beings had a common enemy that we both want dead, maybe not for the same reason, but what can you do? They want peace throughout the Cosmere and I just want to gain thousands of devote followers to worship me to their deaths. And break things... “I would like to know on what grounds you accuse me on, Gecko.” I spoke into the void. How they had spoken to me in the first place, I wasn’t quite sure. Hearing voices in my head was nothing new, however, so I didn’t question
  12. I think this is a worse read than the poetry, at least, when it comes to trying to figure out what’s actually being said.
  13. Please recall LG72, I think after what Araris and Ventyl did, we shouldn’t be surprised to see elims bussing their teammates. Especially if they’d already have a somewhat significant amount of votes on them. However, this is can get into IKYK... So, I’d keep watch on all of the people who voted on Mauve. Just because they were apart of removing an elim doesn’t hard clear them as some people like to think. I’m not quite sure who I should be suspicious of, considering I found it hard to read through the thread due to the amounts of poetry, despite that it was good. Anyways, I’ll try to give my two real reads. Kangaroo: Slight Village I disagree with them saying Shards should claim in thread, even if it’s just the neutral ones. It seems like a great way to get Odium to splinter you. However, I don’t think any smart elim would straight out say this in thread. I think they had good intentions with the post, and if some Shards agree with their point, who am I to stop them? Poets (I can’t remember who is all doing the poetry): Very Slight Elim I don’t know why, but the two (three?) people who are doing this are giving me bad vibes. I get that we all want to get those non-Sanderson passes, but using a cosmetic role like this one does seem like a good way to have an excuse for lack of good game analysis. I know there is one person who is doing it well, just can’t recall who. This isn’t a good read, more just a gut since I find it hard to get a good feel for what the person is actually trying to say because of the formatting. —————————————————————————— Niru enjoyed the cuts forming on his bare feet. The ground in Shadesmar was really something, it gave him a good kind of clarity. The clashing shades of the blood from his feet against the dark glass... “It was boldness, it was contrast, it was subtlety... It was the greatest work of art he had ever witnessed.” That old man on Sel had really been something... too bad I’d never gotten him to worship me. Though, in hindsight, I guess it wouldn’t have been that great. Gaotona had always been slightly depressed after he’d thrown that book into the fire. I really didn’t get why, the book wasn’t that interesting... it had no plot to speak of. Still, could a book really have been better than a great being such as myself? I didn’t think so I continued walking, maybe if I walked around the Cognitive Realm long enough, Odium would notice me and I’d be able to fight him. That would be sooooooooo fun! If I did that, maybe people would start to worship me for how great I really was! I giggled excitedly. Maybe that group of people that hired me for this job were right? This really was going to be fun, wasn’t it? Hehe...
  14. I’ve finally arrived. I don’t think any Shard should claim, unless of course, you have a master plan. However, I don’t think what they are doing is alignment indicative. I won’t join the removal on them. Now here’s my RP, Niru Drash. An insane scholar who is the biggest egomaniac in the Cosmere. ———————————————————————————— “We need your help, Drash,” I laughed. Idiots. Who were this people to ask for help from the great Niru Drash? Did they not know that I bowed to none? Did they not know that I didn’t just do simple favors? Did they not know I had the power of life and death in my hand? It would take more than their pleas to get me to help them. ”Why?” I replied curtly. Fiddling with my knife, I began craving out chunks of glass from the table in front of me. They sure like the stuff here in Silverlight didn’t they? That wasn’t a problem, it meant I’d be able to make so many, beautiful statues of my likeness. The city would be blessed with my works of art, maybe they’d see how great they were and finally start worshiping me, as they should. My bliss was interrupted by the leader of the fools in front of me. A Scadrian man with a large cut across his scalp. He was an Atium misting if I remembered correctly. Poor fool, too bad all the atium was gone, that stuff was fun to play with... ”Odium is making moves. We figured you wouldn’t want him, uh... encroaching on your name...” ”You’re for-get-ting somethiiiiing!” I interrupted. Was it really that hard to remember at least one of my titles? Seriously, “The Man of A Thousand Names” was even one of my titles! I giggled quietly at my ingenious in naming myself. The Scadrian man sighed then corrected his mistake. “O’ Knifey One” ”That’s better now,” I replied. That wasn’t my favorite title, but it would do. I did like doing things with knives. Just the thought of them made me squeal in excitement and get the shakes throughout my whole body. Maybe if these idiots didn’t have a good reason to come to me, I could show theeeeeeeeeem... my knifeyness that is. “So, what’s in this arrangement for me?” ”Freedom,” The leader of the group said. Now that, that was interesting. I giggled some more and licked my lips. Oh boy! This was going to be fuuuuun! I could barely contain my excitement. This people weren’t as stupid as I thought. They sure did know how to bargain! “‘Honor is dead, but I’ll see what I can do,’” I said to them. I laughed. This truly was an exciting time to be alive
  15. Dragonfly ended up PMing me, so I'll vote for Hyena. The Forsaken list is probably as follows: (dead are crossed out, claimed are bolded) Aran'gar Asmodean Demandred Graendal Lanfear Mesaana Moghedien Osan'gar Rahvin Sammael Semirhage We currently have four unknown Forsaken claims. In my opinion, they should just go ahead and directly claim their role. I honestly don't see why they shouldn't claim so we can confirm them.
  16. Okay, so that's two Forsaken who died in the book before Lord of Chaos. This means that there's a good chance that Rahvin is around somewhere as well.
  17. If you look at my Forsaken timeline, I believe yours is a bit off. Mazrim might show up, but he didn't become a Forsaken until AMoL.
  18. I don't think the other people are necessarily opposed. After all, we've already seen that one of them was also aligned with the Dark One. Personally, I'd much prefer to try a majority vote and see if that changes anything. I wouldn't be surprised if the lynch was a roleblock when 50% or less of the votes were cast on other people. I'm going to vote for Dragonfly. They seemed to be opposed to the Forsaken.
  19. I believe Asmodean died shortly before Osan'gar and Aran'gar were brought back from the dead, so it's not too much of a stretch. If anyone else is Forsaken and not on the list, it'd be nice if they could come forward so we can confirm that this game isn't following the book timeline.
  20. The other Forsaken wouldn't be around because they died. I made a Forsaken timeline and then used Osan'gar's existance to find the correct spot. WoT spoilers: https://pastebin.com/dHY3m27k Could you say what the Lynch does?
  21. I did a bit of research, and I believe I've figured out the Forsaken list: (BTW I am Osan'gar) Aran'gar Demandred Graendal Mesaana Moghedien Osan'gar Sammael (may or may not be alive depending on time, probably alive since it's Lord of Chaos) Semirhage This would make the distribution as follows: 7/8 Forsaken 1 Shaidar Haran 1 Lews Therin Telamon 4/5 Unknown EDIT: claims so far Amber Vulture: Forsaken with modern name. @Amber Vulture, what Forsaken are you? I think that Aran'gar and Osan'gar are the only reincarnate Forsaken until Lanfear becomes Cyndane in Winter's Heart. Amethyst Scorpion: Forsaken. Azure Mouse: Female Forsaken, win-con compatible with Lews dying. Emerald Falcon: Forsaken, win-con of Lews dying. Fuchsia Ostrich: Female Forsaken. Indigo Weasel: Aran'gar, win-con compatible with Lews dying and win-con involves Lews. Melon Dingo: Osan'gar, win-con of Lews dying.
  22. A bit of research shows that Shaidar Haran was essentially used to manage the Forsaken and is apparently the closest thing the Dark One had to a mortal form. Apparently it was able to place a mark on someone that prevented a Forsaken from harming them. It could also sense the power, and distinguish between male and female power. The writeup seems to imply that something happened to the killer of Shaidar Haran. I don't suppose anyone would be willing to claim to be the killer and tell us what happened? Regarding the kill, I believe that some Forsaken were resurrected by the Dark One, so I wouldn't be surprised if non-balefire kills aren't permanent. I assume that there are not all 13 Forsaken in the game. I'll have to do some research tomorrow and figure out which Forsaken aren't in the game.
