Hey, so my brother and I should be heading up to that signing --I'm not 100% certain though-- I planned on being there about 12:00-12:30 and was willing to do some recording. We don't have stellar equipment though and have never been before. But here's hoping!

Well, the one that I have been using on the forums, should be fairly obvious. I fancy myself a scholar, and thus have named myself the student of my favorite scholar character. I do rather like my name!

I have a theory that I have been working on for a short while now and I want to present it to the esteemed minds here. (BTW please forgive my somewhat circuitious manner of speech) Thanks to the following wob I have surmises that it is theoretically possible to fix a splintered shard. I assume that it is also theoretically --though maybe not feasibly-- possible to heal Adonalsium and put it back together. I have been wondering if this shattering has happened before, or if Adonalsium could be put back together in the future. Though I seriously doubt that the vessels would permit it to be so. I don't think that we have enough information to come to anything more than a giant jumble of theories, I was wondering what you all thought about the possibility of this theory seeing as y'all know more than I do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A question that I have not been able to find anything related to Since we know that "theoretically" a shard can be un-splintered, could Adonalsium be restored, if so is this the first time it has been shattered?

I feel your pain @Tesh. Sanderson is coming to emerald City comic-con and I can't go. TwT --It has to be said-- When you're sobbing because you can't go to a signing or Sanderson appearance and you've been waiting a long time for this appearance.

When you randomly in the middle of a sentence capitalize Cultivation. And when someone asks you why you say, "I don't know, I guess I had the Intent to capitalize it. You could say that that word is Invested more." Then your laughing inside at your joke and also crying cause you're the only one who got it.

I've only actually finished one novel, which was my first attempt at anything like that. It was alright but was a boiled down mimicry of a lot of other authors and stories. Ultimately I think I thought to large in scope for my first time writing and have since toned down everything about my writing, I usually write dystopian-esque things. But yeah. I have the start of about 4 or 5 novels but never could get them going for more than a couple thousand words. I will say I have started a new project that I am feeling pretty good about, it's a very odd mash-up that feels very uniquely mine and I haven't seen anything quite like it in my many years of reading and am very excited to finish this one. I don't think I'll work to get it published though. Just me, if y'all want I can explain further.

What it says on the tin. I've recently been combing through the Archive books in search of hidden things and I was wondering if anyone else noticed this little bit and if we know anything about it.

Gave had no desire to be left alone and quickly joined the others inside the room. As soon as he stepped through the door, it sealed behind him and promptly disappeared. "Alright!"Gave said grabbing the door knobs and opening the antiquated door. Behind it lay only darkness that seemed to seeing into the hallway, deep inside howls sounded and other noises indicative of strange creatures inside. Gave gulped and stared at the doorway. "So.... Who's going first?"

I actually hop around frequently (once every month or so, more frequently during holiday seasons) and currently have All That Jazz from Chicago the Musical. But it also depends on my mood. I'm just one of those people.

I'm only stopping by a moment. I love everything said here! All these theories are great! I do have one bit to add. So your statements got me thinking and I did a little digging through Arcanum and found this gem. So Adonalsium at least had an intent to bring sentience to life which implies in turn that it itself had some sort of sentience, no matter how low, it must have been at least marginally aware of things around itself.
