That's what I thought it would be anyways. When I was thinking of a blend of Ritual and Natural, I was thinking of having them share similarities with the magic systems and being able to work with the magic systems, but being a third system. A sort of "bridge", if you will, between the freedom of the Natural and the order of the Ritual.

Sam stopped and frowned. "I remember you. Why are you here?"

Sam the half handerfle stood at the docks. They weren't much; not a whole lot of shipping you could do when the city was underwater. But, apparently, some managed. He strode back and forth on the pier, restless. Something had driven him here; something he couldn't describe. It was sort of a internal gut feeling. Hard to describe, even when hunger wasn't complicating things. He checked his purse. Six twenty? That was a lot less then he thought he had. Almost certainly not enough to get anything more than a snack. He sighed, and put the purse away. Hopefully something interesting would happen here soon. @beantheboy12 @Shard of Thought

I think that Innate magic should be some form of spellcasting, which would include enchanting objects. It would use the magic in a Natural way, yet have similar restrictions to Rituals.

The voice spoke up one last time. "Go to the docks. Whenever you're ready. I can tell you more then." With that, it hung up.

There was an even longer pause. "Okay."

"I doubt it." The voice was low and quiet. "But it likely doesn't matter. Are you sure you wish to venture forth on your own?"

The voice turned serious. “The others have been around for just as long as you and I have. Nialliv, Aurora, Samika… They’ve all had time to gather power. And plan.”

There was a long pause. "I forgave you a long time ago." The voice sounded almost sad.

"You wouldn't, I suppose. Like I said, it was before your ascension. The others have not forgiven you. Not yet."

The voice continued. "There will be more assassins after you soon. You betrayed several people when you ascended. Including me."

Well, it's been a great game folks. Sorry for not being more active. Wait, so I'm not dying? Hah.

At that moment, the voice spoke up, more serious this time. "Would now be a good time to offer you my protection?"

I think one solar system should be plenty.

"Fair enough. I won't waste your time any longer." The voice paused. "I want you, Tamika."

The voice snorted. "For one, it wouldn't do any good."

"I would recommend not doing that."

I'm thinking even more now that Innate should be some fusion of Ritual and Natural, with the ability to go either way depending on the user.

A muffled "Hello?" issued from the phone.

What do people think about my Natural/Ritual dichotomy idea?
