  1. Pheonix stared at the waves of tattered demons. "W-w-we have to get out of here," he gasped. "The things- if we die..." He trailed off into a whimper.
  2. Xino's swords flashed, sending blasts of red energy into the waves of enemies rising from the ground. "What then?" he called. "We can't stay here forever."
  3. Michael reached out and plucked the pen from midair, totally and completely lost for words.
  4. The legendary character from myth that we all can't stop talking about.
  5. Generally speaking, voting on someone because they voted on you is considered an elim thing to do.
  6. But the tree had awoken, now- felt the anxiety and fear of the souls who had so foolishly wandered into it, and responded in like kind. More withergeists poured from the ground as the tree drew fear from their minds.
  7. The Witherlord wore a satisfied smile as Jacob's body slumped to the ground. In his other hand, the pen silently vanished. There was a ripple of reality in the air in front of Michael, like it was a pond someone had dropped a stone into. It resolved itself into a nondescript-looking pen. Michael stared at the pen for a moment while his brain processed what he was seeing. His eyes widened. "Oh..." he said hoarsely. "Oh, no..."
  8. "Guys..." said Pheonix, panic edging into his voice. "Guys...?" Around them, black shadows began to ooze from the ground, twisted ghosts in tattered cloaks of darkness.
  9. Elandera(2): The_God_King, ElkanahKynedath(1): FifthSart(3): xino Kidpen, Striker, CodaCoda(2): Sart, Experience Xino(0); ElkanahElkanah(3):Joe Bush, Elandera, xino Currently there are eleven votes, so no one's getting killed. I'm swinging back on forth on whether or not that's a good thing. Sart has posted, so my poke vote is now obsolete. I don't really agree with the lynch on Sart, personally. I don't think Coda is suspicious, but I can see where he's coming from. Elkanah, on the other hand... Reading this post (without context, at least) makes it sound like Elandera voted for Sart and you're voting on her for that. Except that you're agreeing with her. Shouldn't you be voting on someone who bandwagoned on Sart, not yourself?
  10. The fans were exiled from the fandom by the vents and the radiators.
  11. The surroundings began to stir around her in response to her worry, in almost a curious way. Pheonix flinched for no apparent reason as the pod snapped shut behind Jaywalk. "Oh..." he said softly. "The Tree doesn't like this. Not at all."
  12. It was promptly consumed.
  13. Pheonix pulled Narrative power into himself and spoke. The Nightmare Pod split open, revealing the captive inside.
  14. Does that include any of the Oculator, Shattered Lens Pillar, Transporter or Madness Lenses? As for the lynch, I am a supporter of the D1 lynch. I think that imprisoning might be a reasonable compromise between death and a no-lynch. Sart hasn't posted yet, so I think I'll throw down a poke for now. @Sart
  15. Xino stared at it. "So," he asked. "What do we do next?" Pheonix reached out a hand uncertainly and laid it on the Nightmare Pod, wincing slightly as he did so. "I think... we command it to open?" he said uncertainly. "Somehow?"
  16. Xino scanned the area. "Hmm..." he muttered. "Pheonix? You have any idea where this cell is hiding?" Pheonix nodded slowly, screwing up his face in concentration. "It's... hidden itself from us," he said in a slightly strained voice. "That's... odd." But even as he said it, reality began to warp, something not unlike an gigantic, twisted walnut materializing in midair. Pheonix exhaled. "But there it is."
  17. "Here?" asked Xino, stopping suddenly.
  18. "Now?" he whispered. A sudden gust of wind blew past him, seeming almost to form a voice with its echoes. A voice that-ever so faintly-whispered yes. Jacob exhaled a sigh and closed his eyes. And the Witherlord ran him through from behind.
  19. "You can still locate it, right?" asked Xino.
  20. @Vogelsang was requested to make a poll.
  21. However, they were defeated by Mashed Potatoes.
  22. Greetings, fellow tourists! So glad to be able to tour the White House with such a magnificent group of individuals! With the interesting PM mechanic this game, this is potentially a marginally more powerful role than it would usually be. Could be potentially used to verify that someone did not take an action. An interesting wildcard to consider. Potentially useful if you think one of the elims have a power role (or maybe an inactive...) Interestingly enough, it doesn't seem like this role precludes switching your own role with someone else's. A roleblock. Unclear if it works on faction actions, although I would guess it does. @Elbereth A sort of suicide bomber, then- kill yourself, but take the enemy with you. Doesn't really help with parity because of this, so it should probably not be used randomly. If you're a PM person, you can probably think of something to do with this. Because the conversions are guaranteed to happen on certain nights, this pillar should most certainly be used on one of those nights. Potentially useful if a powerful village role gets stuck in prison. You might want to burn your first chance as soon as you're willing to get to the higher probability chances. Could be used in a protective capacity- either for yourself, or for the target. You should probably tell someone who you switched with, in case you die. Chaos. Provides an incentive to get oneself locked up, especially if one has no other action available. Less powerful than a roleblock, but still might catch the SK. Could be useful in combination with another role that doesn't want to be revealed. A sort of roleblock. Does this block the action the target took on the cycle they were targeted? @Elbereth A limited amount of actions with regards to glass, so be careful with what you do with it. What does it mean to have someone catch you wearing the glasses? Could be used to scan potential kill targets- maybe you'll get lucky and catch the SK. Or, potentially, if the originator turns out to be an elim, then their target might have been converted. Something I just thought of- if someone targets the player who isn't in a PM with them, that means it's a faction action- likely the conversion, if they aren't dead. Blocks... I'm not exactly sure, actually. @Elbereth Is it implied that you put it on immediately after you create it (i.e. does it degrade two cycles after its creation or its first use?) Similar to the Grappler's glass but for different things. Might catch a conversion in action, if you're lucky.
  23. He was dreadfully jealous of the first in command.
  24. While he was out, the goats ate all his neighbors groceries as well.
