  1. Then Lift suddenly realized that she was the copy.
  2. "You mean this?" said the sinister merchant, holding up a velvet bag shaped suspiciously like a pancake.
  3. The one I referenced in this post. Sorry, I probably should have made that clearer. This is actually a fairly good point. I don't think it makes me suspicious enough of Coda to vote for them quite yet, but they're definitely on my radar. Just because someone is a good alignment doesn't necessarily make them right. While there certainly may be quite valid reasons for Coda to be lynched, it's best to try to discover them for yourself. I'm fairly certain elim teams are almost always chosen by pure RNG, which makes trying to meta them pointless. I'll throw this post in because it has a similar argument to the one before. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm "experienced" but I dislike voting on someone because it would be bad if they were an eliminator. Well, I haven’t found a vote target yet. Time to go look through Coda’s posts...
  4. I've reread Coda's posts, and am feeling more inclined to believe them about a change in playstyle. I found this in Ashbringer's posts when I was looking through them and thought it kind of odd, but I think it's probably their inexperience. I don't read Mat as elim particularly, either. Well, I'm not feeling particularly evil inclined towards anyone... however, I'm also beginning to realize that that's alright, and actually pretty normal. I still need to vote, however... Rollover is pretty soon, and I probably won't be able to get back before it happens. So, Karnage. They're my strongest suspicion so far. @Karnage
  5. I know it's probably suspcious, but eh. I've had a suspicion on Shard of Reading for some time now. I don't really have time to go back and identify exactly what, unfortunately.
  6. Although the extra arm would certainly come in handy.
  7. I’m not usually one to post much player analysis on the first cycle… or, well, ever, really… but I’m trying to do better. I’m going to vote anyways, to get the money, so might as well at least try to make it reason-driven. There have been several votes so far, but the only remaining ones that I can find with an explicit stated reason for suspicion are Karnage’s vote on Araris, Magestar’s vote on Coda, Experience’s vote on Coda, and TJ’s vote on Magestar. This is actually a fairly good point. I don't think it makes me suspicious enough of Coda to vote for them quite yet, but they're definitely on my radar. 8. That hadn’t stopped them from arguing, though. Cooped up and antsy as everyone was, it was no wonder that harsh words were being exchanged. Even so, Neru was a little surprised at just how fast it had happened. Was this how the rest of their time cooped up in this building would be? Neru hoped not. All the shouting hurt his tin-enhanced ears. And he didn’t dare stop burning tin, lest he miss a hint toward the identity of the hidden traitors. They wanted to kill Darson, after all; if they couldn’t escape, might they become desperate enough to attack him? He’d asked to be at his uncle’s side, but had been turned down. Darson had assured him that he would be fine- he had other bodyguards to protect him. Neru would be most useful standing at the door. His eyes would be able to catch any potential escapees, and his speed would ensure that if anyone did escape, they wouldn’t get far. Neru had accepted his assessment, if a little uneasily. Darson was smart- smarter than he was, at least. If he said his idea was better, then it probably was. But family was family, and Darson’s guards weren’t.
  9. Nerusentrel stood still and watchful at the doorway to the elegant building behind him, firmly at attention. But unlike the many, many nights before, where he stood on the outside keeping people from entering, now he was on the inside making sure nobody tried to escape. Darson, his master, had told him there were traitors here. Murderers. People who were trying to kill Darson and take control of the city themselves. He had told Neru that the traitors didn’t want to be here. Because they didn’t want to be here, they would try to escape. Therefore, Neru needed to kill anyone who tried to leave. It made sense to Neru. Darson had always been good to him, ever since his father- Darson’s brother- had been killed. Darson was family, and family took care of each other. And so if there were people trying to kill Darson, Neru would be more than happy to kill them in return. Nobody had tried to escape so far- at least, not through the entrance he was guarding. He’d spotted a few people looking antsy, like there was nothing they’d like better than to escape, but they’d been smart enough to stay put for now.
