  1. "We'll see about that..." whispered Y as she faded into the darkness. "Kevin!" cried X's avatar. "After him!"
  2. Y grunted disdainfully. "I'm not doing this for you," she said. She whirled her swords around and jumped into the air, letting the winds carry her away far into the distance. X's avatar offered Melody a cheese sandwich.
  3. Y grinned. "One," she said with satisfaction. She also flicked her sword and sliced the Ultra Ball in two.
  4. And so Nameless dissipated into Narrative energy.
  5. Unfortunately for him, someone got ahold of the remote and switched the channel back just in time to see Y landing a critical blow on Nameless.
  6. He stepped through into a large white room with mirrors running along the sides. At the far end of the hall sat Baalhan and Aridith on their thrones- one of glimmering sapphire, the other of twisting, shadowy vines. In the middle of the room, directly facing Fadran, a red holed stood with a sword in his hands. Made of steel with veins of azure worked into it, it radiated power. Black lightning sparked down its length every couple of seconds, nicely complementing the pair of dark rings in his eyes. The champions have both arrived, called a voice from up high on one of the walls. As champion of Baalhan, God of War, Channelknight Fadran. Behind Fadran, the image of the throne room faded away as the portal moved to the viewing room behind the one-way glass. As champion of Aridith, King holed and Emperor of the Multiverse, Jaxevist Ceressian. Black sparks flickered down the red's blade. As this is a duel between champions, the voice continued, interference will not be permitted. Accepting unauthorized assistance will result in disqualification. Other than that, anything goes. I, as arbiter, will resolve any disputes that may arise. My word is final. Do you understand? Across from Fadran, Jaxevist gave a sharp nod. @Channelknight Fadran @Nathrangking
  7. Except for Y, who took the chance to take an unhindered swing at Nameless.
  8. Narrator X was flattered at the number of people emulating him.
  9. Y reformed her airblades and charged at Nameless.
  10. Y hopped over Nameless's lunge, flicking a sword downwards at him as he passed under her.
  11. "You'll be allowed to watch," said the king. "There will be a safe area provided for your viewing pleasure."
  12. Y flicked her swords at Nameless in a pair of scything arcs and activated a new set, carefully watching to see how he would react.
  13. Y grunted. "Shadows, you're a tricky one." She flicked her blades, ringing them against Shar in an almost-melody.
  14. Y narrowed her eyes and moved with impossible speed, dodging Nameless's blocks and knocking him back with intense hits from her blades.
  15. Y's eyes flashed dangerously. "Don't be so sure about that," she said with a smirk. With blinding speed, she reformed her sword and sliced at Nameless, blowing him backwards across the hard stone ground.
  16. Y effortlessly blocked Shar with one air-sword and delivered a counterattack with the other. "I've expanded my repertoire," she said casually.
  17. "Why shouldn't I?" Y smiled dangerously. "I know exactly what I was made to do. And I'm going to do it."
  18. "I'm not just tolerating you," said X's avatar solemnly. "Not many," said Y casually. "You'll be my first, in fact."
  19. Y looks at the famous sword with a hint of disdain. "Come, now," she says with a smile playing at her lips, "is that really the best you have?" "Melody!" cried X's avatar. "Are you alright?"
  20. Y dropped into a fighting stance, narrowing her eyes and activating her blades.
  21. Kevin made a cunning smile and vanished. Y laughed and threw both Melody and X's avatar backwards with a powerful sweep of her twin blades.
