    The Witherlord strolled over to where the Mechanic lay sleeping. "Simple," he replied. "Chaos." With that, he plunged his vapor-wreathed fist deep into the internal clockwork of the Mechanic. The entire universe screamed out a cry of pain in response.

    536 jittered. Black smoke poured from his ears. Behind the wanderer, the shadows whispered, peeling up from the ground. Translucent, colorless beings reeking with the aura of decay and ruin. Withergeists.
