should i make a "how to meme" thread?
i think i should make a "how to meme" thread.
some of the memes threads on this site are just...
i think someone needs to show people how to actually use most of these meme formatson the one hand i'm like:
dannex, don't be a snobby gatekeeping meme elitist, they're just having fun, and that's all that matters. this isn't reddit, nobody cares if they use the format wrong.but on the other hand im like:
oh but they're so, soooo cringe tho. literally feeling second-hand embarrassment browsing these threads.probably won't actually.
not because I decided to not be a snobby critic.
but because i'm just lazy.unrelated but i wont be here this week, going on a trip to nashville.
if anyone lives there and wants to say hi, hmu
you'd have to tell me in the next...5 hours cause thats when i leave
but yeah
oh shoot i leave in 5 hours i haven't slept and need to finish packing agh what am i doing -
if you were gonna describe yourself in one word, what would it be.
Like, what word finishes the phrase "I am a __"
I was talking about this with my friends because we were talking about how I won the senior most award for "most likely to be a professional gamer" and how i immediately emailed them and rejected it because that's cringe.
I was talking to one if them and I was like, "i'm not a gamer, you're a gamer" (he agreed) "I am a musician who plays games."so then we were talking about that and now I'm wondering what you guys think.
So yeah, that's mine, I consider myself a musician first, everything else second.
Here's some more examples if you don't get it.

athlete
reader
writerstuff like that.

just had one heck of a showerthought whilst, you guessed it, showering.
so Brain's are essentially just computers right. This is known.
We receive input, process it in our brains, and give an output.
Input -> Function -> Output
Your brain is essentially just a series of instructions on what actions to preform on any given input.
This is whole idea behind AI. If our brain's are just computers, then computers should be able to become intelligent too.
Given a large enough Computer, AI can eventually be reached.
A flowchart is essentially an analog, rudimentary computer.
Given a large enough [flowchart], AI can eventually be reached.you could theoretically manually create an artificial intelligence contained entirely on paper.
K, this is taking too long, let me skip to the end. Basically the whole point of this is that your OCs could theoretically become real intelligences if you have enough paper.

QuoteWell... yeah
But also we haven't done that with supercomputers yet, soooo
i did say theoretically
I'm fairly certain it would take more time than we currently have remaining in the entire universe. and it would definitely take more paper than we could ever possibly make.
but the idea that you could literally create life by writing your ideas down on paper...
I think it legitimately says something powerful about being a writer.also i was literally thinking about that XKCD when i first thought of this
