but attack on titan is like
kinda insane
it's really really good so far
(i'm like 8-9 episodes in)

actually reminds me of mistborn a lot
if you've seen the show i'm sure you can see why

i'm not sure i can actually recommend it to y'all in good faith
it's incredibly gore-y and dark.        oh gosh is it dark
but if you have a stomach for those things, this show has some of the best character work i've ever seen

it actually reminds of brandon's writing style, just writen with a darker tone. like, mistborn is a dark book y'all. that scene at the end of book three?? heccin brutal, it's just that brandon doesn't write with a very dark tone so it's sometimes harder to notice.

so ye, AoT reminds me of mistborn both in worldbuilding and in content, just with a darker tone. that's the post.
