New worst pet peeve: People who follow the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law and the reasons behind it.

Context: I’m in a Discord server where one of the rules is ‘No RP’. That makes sense, RP can get icky in some scenarios, and it can be somewhat hard to moderate. So it’s fine, I never RP there. Today I was just chatting in there, and I mentioned I was eating a sugar cookie. Someone joking asked if they could have some, so I said, and I quote, “lol, sure. Yeets cookie.”

and I got fricking called out for it. That was too much RP.
