Yeah I think he does. I’m sure his class is great, but I love my school and Card’s classes are also great.

No, I go to Southern Virginia University. Card teaches here in the spring whichever year he feels like it. He does it for free, so it’s really up to him when he teaches. We weren’t expecting him to teach in the spring, because he came last year, but I’m not complaining. His class was great. Yeah, Stormlight is a lot more fun than old classics, even though I do happen to love some of them. @Bean Delphiki Oh my, you’re name is awesome. I love the Shadow Series. Bean is my favorite.

So in the spring semester Orson Scott Card is teaching at my college. The class I’m taking is Speculative Fiction LDS Authors. I found out today that he wants us to read or reread all of Stormlight before the first class in January. Now I just need to finsih Oathbringer and the start the reread. It’s a lot to read over break, but my parents can’t get mad, because it’s for school. I’m excited and I had to share it with you all.

I can I say how much I agree with you about missing Adolin. He’s my favorite character and he really should have a viewpoint in every part, but if not at least show up a lot. I mean Shallan should have interacted with him more. Shallan does like him, even if Veil doesn’t, which she just needs to go away if she is going to interfere with Shallan and Adolin. I really wanted to see more of Adolin teaching Shallan how to use her shardblade. Okay and I agree with you that I loved the baby Adolin scene. I love the name and Dalinar is so cute. I also looked ahead and found this scene and I could not wait to get there. Now onto other sections of part two: Not to mention the lack of Adolin, but the lack of Syl was also sad. She’s my second favorite and she only was in Rock’s chapter and then not even that much. I got spoiled by having her around all the time. I did love the bridge four chapters. I love them all. I know I saw someone say they didn’t like Lopen. I feel that; I don’t hate him, but I could do without. Out of the bridgemen, I love Sigzil the most, other than Kaladin. I sometimes gets annoyed at Lift. Although she seems to be growing on me, maybe that’s just her surgebinding. I like that Shallan is connecting with Renarin, not in a romantic way, let that be said. I did laugh when Renarin said, “Defending my honor. When Adolin does that, someone usually get stabbed.” Oh Adolin, I love that you defend Renarin, but the way you do it is so funny.

Reading this kind of made my day. I never thought about it until it happened, but it was so awesome. I really want to see how the brother interact when the younger one is older.

I do love the baby. He better live though. If he dies I don’t even know what I’ll do. As far as Dalinar goes. I quite like him, but I agree with you that young Dalinar, although a boss, is evil. I want to see him change throughout the book as it progresses into the man we see in book 1.

I agree Pattern’s “no mating” was just so great. I love when Shallan doesn’t know how to react, but then later her and Adolin just laugh at it. I really hope their relationship works out. I’m glad the whole gang is back together. Jasnah included. So they figured out that the unmade was making the copycat deaths, but they (other than Adolin) still don’t know who killed Sadeas. I am intrested to see how this plays out, because it’s eventually going to come out. I bet Shallan will take it better than how she reacted to Jasnah killing the thugs on the street. In a lot of ways Jasnah was more justified, but Shallan is irrational like that sometimes. Oh and before I finish, let me say how much I loved that Kaladin’s parents were in it. I was so terrified they were dead. That would have heartbroken me.

Hi all, I started reading Sanderson in the summer and I’ve finally gotten around to making an account on 17th Shard, even though I spend way too much time on this website, when I should be doing something more productive like doing my college homework. I started with Mistborn and then Stormlight, so I still have a lot to read, but it should be a great ride. I’m really looking forward to getting my copy of Oathbringer in the mail tomorrow. Funny thing my roommate checked the mail and said there was two packages today. I slightly hoped one would be mine, but then I remembered it was Monday and not Tuesday. Anyway, I’m rioting anticipation for Oathbringer, then subsequently anticipationspren appear around all of us. It’s not like they weren’t there before. I’m just a trouble maker. I should be more helpful and riot patience so we can all last until tomorrow, but hey who wants to be patient? I’m glad to be apart of this crazy community.
