  1. Yes! I remembered her after I made the post. She is great. I love the picture book.
  2. I really love Denth a lot. Right now I’m enjoying Calvin from the Alvin Maker books. Definitely a villian, but enjoyable to read his viewpoints. I have a feeling he’s going to keep going off of the deep end. Luke from Percy Jackson. Sphinx from Fablehaven. He’s just intresting to begin with and then you learn he’s evil. I just find his story fascinating. Raj Ahten from the Runelords. I have trouble explaining why I love this villian so much. It would help if I knew someone who had read the books then I could talk to them and discover his awesomeness. Without a doubt he is evil. (You should all read these books. They are great. Epic fantasy. Might not be Sanderson, but still great.) I know I have other villians I love as well. I remember I had a friend who thought I was crazy for liking villains. But if the villain isn’t good then the story isn’t worth reading. That being said, sometimes great villains are the ones I hate so much, such as Straff Venture.
  3. @The Thinking Herald I’m not sure if you should keep what you posted. “You know what I meant,” she gave Lift a look.
  4. Thanks @Rebecca. I’m glad I started this as well, but I also have to say it’s also because of my friend @The Hope of Elantris, who wrote a term-paper about mothers in LDS fiction. I totally forgot about Daora. I just started Elantris, so I haven’t seen her be super awesome yet. But I do like her already. I do love Navani as well. She is wonderful.
  5. Yes I know that the Ghanderflaffle is too big to eat in one bite, but it was suppose to be comical. Lift kicked Butt off of the piano and using her awesomeness she played beautifully.
  6. Well, it’s Mother’s Day in the USA and maybe elsewhere. I know in Guatemala Mother’s Day is always May 10th. No matter what day it is, this is a tribute to the mother’s we’ve all read about in Sanderson’s books. Tindwyl: She’s a Mother of Terris. We never got to meet any of her children, but I also feel that she was a mother to Vin. (Elend as well, but not as much as. She was more of a teacher to him.) She taught Vin how to be herself. Mare: We never got to see Mare at all and she never had any children, although she wanted to. However, with the things Kelseir said and how she would have liked Vin as a daughter. I think of Mare as one of the mothers that I admire from Sanderson’s books. She sounds like a wonderful lady and I think she would have taken Vin in just as Kelseir did. Mrs. Saxon: She may not be around a lot for Joel, but she works all the time to provide for her son. You can tell she care about Joel. Dalinar’s Wife: I won’t say anything about her here, because of OB spoliers, but know that I love her. Hesina: I love her clever wit and the way she talks with Kaladin. She is also great. By no means is this an extensive list of the mothers in Sanderson’s books. Please add/discuss the other mothers you admire. If you want you can even mention mothers from other books as well.
  7. Lift opens her mouth and eats the Ghanderflaffle-Haehtc in one gulp. Then she becomes awesome.
  8. Butt indicated yes that was his name. Then Lift asked, “So what’s ya doing, Tightbutt.” Yes AonEne that is perfect. I hadn’t noticed.
  9. Oh this is good. I just started Elantris and I’m really enjoying it. I didn’t think I would read a “zombie” book by Sanderson. Thanks for the visual.
  10. He reached for the next strawberry and found that there was none left. He looked around a found a little girl had stolen his lunch.
  11. It was a bottomless pit and so Butt kept playing the manly piccolo as he slowly died of starvation and thirst.
  12. Butt whinnied and said he didn’t want to. Nerd3.14 posted this before me, so discount this.
  13. That’s a good idea Rebecca. However, alas I’m not a good artist. Butt ignored his uncle and continued his quest of finding a quesadilla, which he wouldn’t share with Uncle Brandy.
  14. So Butt punch Shan. Why would anyone try to kill his favorite cousin?
  15. Kaladin. Kaladin will be the only one left alive, because as we know anyone he tries to protect dies on him. jk I don’t actually think that. More people will live. I hope Kaladin has some kids and gets some happiness, but at the same time I think Kaladin will die. He cares too much about protecting people not to go out in a blaze of glory protecting people. I hope it’s epic. I like the idea of Taln picking up a shard. He would do a good job with it. EDIT: I also think Lift will live.
  16. That’s awesome @I am Witless. Also just so people know, on this page (excluding this one) there are 14 posts with the word irrelevant no matter how you spell it. At least Butt was a Venture though. He liked that last name. EDIT: pervious page. I didn’t know it would take me to the next page.
  17. But it was irrelevant to Butt life, so he moved on to the next word.
  18. So instead of looking up the word “irrelevant” in the dictionary he looked up other meaningless and other irrelevant words.
  19. Butt wondered how many more posts would contain the word “irrelevant” in them.
