  1. I'm pretty sure it was acceptable several years ago, but not anymore?
  2. None are greater than the Sticks. You have done well, fellow stick.
  3. Of course. It's not that hard to fill pages and pages with just conversing with one another. Just four or five people can easily get some eight pages filled in a few days, and I expect we'll be with more.
  4. Only 17, apparently. Walk in the park.
  5. I mean, I did bear the title "Spam King" for several years on another site...
  6. Making this the longest intro thread ever, apparently.
  7. Huh. So this is supposed to get 11 more pages? Is multi posting okay?
  8. "What about the mountain there? I'd estimate it's some four miles away," Esha said. "First to reach the top. Someone who wants to count down for us?"
  9. I expect Oroden and Gavinor in particular to play a real role, as they'll be more or less adults (some 16-20 years old) by the second half of the series, and Oroden is the brother of one of the main characters while Gavinor is the heir to Alethkar. One of Rock's children, maybe two, will play a real role as well, but they're probably also partially flavour to deepen his story. I think Sah's daughter is purely there for Kaladin's arc, showing how 'human' the singers are. Lift will be a main character in the back five, and I expect Yanagawn to remain as Prime, so he'll probably get more important as the series go on.
  10. Not that long... Also, if you haven't read all of Harry Potter yet, I'd say, do so. The worldbuilding is atrocious but Rowling has a great sense of humor. Rereading it is probably not worth it though.
  11. Esha follows Rashan outside and elsecalls to catch up with him. "Hey, if he doesn't want to, can I give it a try? No punching the loser though, that's no fun. Besides, you're a head taller than me."
  12. Esha sat in the Alleyvillage Inn, together with several other members from TUBA, sipping her pink wine. Her spren, Lithyr, was enthousiastically examinating the Inn, blinking this way and that, seemingly without covering the intermediate distance. "You know," Esha said, "with TUBA taking a more neutral role, I kind of want to start something else as well. I mean, it's good that TUBA takes this role, but I don't want to just sit here and watch while everything unfolds."
  13. They temporarily raised it from 16 to 20 because of Oathbringer release, I am unsure if it's changed back.
  14. I'm not saying big things aren't coming, I'm just saying I do not expect TUBA to play a central role. (Which would previously have been expected)
  15. Might want to wait for a little bit. Stormblessed Dolphin is right now writing up a post with some major changes to TUBA. Everyone who wants to be part of that can join.
  16. Uh, it's your watch list, I guess?
  17. All action we take is defensive in nature. It might be good to wait for the post regarding TUBA's future as well. It will probably make more sense then.
  18. Oh, I might want to add one thing. You mentioned "the titans about to clash", but this is unlikely. TUBA, at least, will do everything to prevent this. @Stormblessed Dolphin will make an announcement later today about TUBA's future.
  19. Write the best satirical fantasy ever. Go read Discworld. All of it. You'll spent half of your time laughing and the other half of the time anticipating the next laugh, and when you put down his books you'll realize he's actually pretty good at worldbuilding as well, even if only by creating a world where internal inconsistencies are part of the entire thing*. *And he's very good at humoristic footnotes. Much better than me. (and that's my 1000th post...)
  20. You signed up as mediator, one of the few not a member of the Dark Alley.
  21. There's a reason why we also considered the option you weren't controlled by the DA; we had no proof on that, only possible hints. The truth is that the DA would not need to control you. In fact, I think a guild war would (prior to this post) have happened even without the Sons of War even existing. When I signed up with the SoW, I indeed did not feel any loyalty, but that does not mean my entire sign-up was a lie; as I did, at that point, want a guild war, and I doubt I was alone in that.
  22. Terry Pratchett is close in my opinion, but Brandon is definitely number 1.
